I would be in for a challenge again seeing as I failed last one so miserably, I am another one who is gutted about the Alpen Lights. I bought 2 boxes yesterday; I may have to stock up on some more before there are none left on the shelf.

I have not been able to get the Aldi Benefit Bars since before Christmas, you can have 2 ofthese for HEB as well, I contacted Aldi who said I need to call then to find stock levels in individual stores. Like I have time to do that, I asked if there was a supply problem as a few were saying it was being re-packaged & back in stores on a FB page but that was in December!!! Anyone else had any luck with them?

Shala- hope your mouth is better now.

Top Girl - Soso sorry to hear of your loss ((hugs))

    EE for me today:-

    B – Bowl melon,strawbs, pineapple
    L – Chicken salad,bowl fruit as above, activia 0%
D – Birds eye bake to perfection salmon, potatoes, cauliflower & cheese (HEA)
HEB, 2 alpen lights or rocky roads later on with a cuppa.

I went out training last night in prep for my “Kiltwalk” on 27th, oh boy is my back suffering for it today :(. I done just under 8 miles in 1 hour 50 minutes. I will be walking the Kiltwalk at a leisurely pace as I cannot powerwalk for 13 miles or I will be needing A & E!!

My back is the same after I go swimming & I used to love swimming.
Have a good day everyone x

So sorry for your loss topgirl but great to see you back with us (and with SW!).

No problem splitting HEXs and provided you have one of the old style Alpens then you don't need to syn it.

I'll be up for joining in the next challenge but I'll miss the last 2 weeks as I go away on the 17th June. It will be extra motivation to lose as much as I can before my holiday. :)

I'm in exactly that position too. I need to be right at the bottom of my target range by June 16th. Partly for my fabulous bikini body and partly to leave room for all the food and drink I'll consume!:rotfl:

Hi all.. It's been a while :hello:

Had a bit of a SW break, been back in group 2 weeks and have lost 3lbs of the 5.5 I gained in 10 weeks off plan.

I was more than ok with that gain as had eaten a lot of rubbish.. I think if my meals hadn't been SW then it could have been far worse!

Trying to get back on track, still not 100% but getting better.. It's hard work to break those bad habits!

Did a pizza from the fakeaway book last night and have to say it was delicious, don't think I'll buy one again, much nicer and so worth the syns :)

Off to have a catch up!

    gbatey I am from Ryton

Weigh in today and lost just over half a pound. Really struggled while I was away on my business trip. All the vodka in the hotel bar did not help but really need to some up with a solution to what to eat whole on the road. Only so much fruit you can eat.

So still in the 20 stones. Getting in to the 19s is proving to be very hard indeed.

Made some speed soup, hopefully it works.

Breakfast - apple, banana, activa 0 fat yoghurt
    Snack - boiled egg
Lunch - speed soup, 1 ryvita with 1/2 light dairy lee triangle
Tea - omelette, salad, cottage cheese, beetroot

Hea - milk in cuppas, light dairy lee triangle
heb - will be 2 ryvita

Syns - tassimo creamer pod 2, curly wurly 6.5

Snacks, melon, hard boiled egg, apple.

I asked about the Benefit Bars in Aldi last week and was told they had been discontinued.:(

To be honest, I've been having trouble finding a lot of branded stuff that we're allowed on the plan, especially for Healthy Extras. Hard to believe but I can't find bags of frozen baby corn anywhere.

Thank you for your kind words.

Lord Duke it's in the magazine this month.

Pizza Dough - 5.5 syns on all choices per serving, serves 4.

    125g strong bread flour
    1 x 7g instant action yeast
    1 tsp salt

    1. Put flour in a large bowl and stir in the yeast and salt. Make a well in the middle, pour in 75ml warm water and mix until you have a soft, fairly wet dough.

    2. Dust a work top very lightly with flour - 1 level tsp is 1 syn - turn out the dough and knead for five minutes smooth. Cover with a teatowel until needed.

    3. Dust work surface very ligtly with more flour and roll out the dough with a rolling pin into a circle about 22cm across Slide onto a preheated pizza stone or lined baking tray, then add sauce and toppings.

    Tomato pizza sauce - free

    4 shallots, finely chopped
    3 crushed garlc cloves
    2 tsp dried oregano
    400g can chopped tomatoes
    4 tbsp tomato puree
Small handful of fresh basil, finely chopped.
    Salt and pepper to taste

    1. Put everything apart from a little of the basil and the salt and pepper in a pan and cook over a medium low heat for 25 minutes, until you have a thick spreadable sauce

    2. Season well and scatter over the remaining basil.

Yes it's the same as above from top girl. I saved syns and had half so 11 syns, perhaps no difference from halving yours? It tasted so much nicer than any I've ever bought though.. Topped with chicken, pastrami, ham and various sf's.. Cheese was low low grated HEA

(used red onions and garlic puree in the sauce)

Some good recipes in the book.. Can get them online or in the other books and mags easy enough but good to have all in one book so not searching..
