I saw a few posts about challenges - do people want a break before the new challenge or shall we go straight into it after Easter?

It will be 10 weeks between BH Monday to the end of June - so 21st April - 30th June/1st July... do you all want to do a 10 weeker?

Sorry to hear about your sore mouth/throat shala. Thinking of silver lining, maybe you'll eat less?;)

If there is a challenge, I'll gladly join as I'm sure I'll have some pounds to lose after Easter. But as a target member, I'll leave it to general consensus.

Mugshot syns vary with the flavours, size of pack as well as coloured writing michele! As far as I can see, the website doesn't seem to differentiate between £ shop and others. Perhaps the safest way would be to work it out on the syn calculator from a pack. I don't buy them but will gladly put the info in for anyone.

I'm trying to eat up stuff before going away for the weekend on Friday. Last night we ended up with parsnip/carrot/potato mash with our supper.

    EE plan for today:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, HEA milk for teas, scrambled eggs
L: fried LO veg and smoked mackerel
D: chilli with veg, SW chips and rice
Syns: (probably a few syns in the smoked mackerel but want to use it up from freezer.

Anyone know why smoked mackerel is synned but kippers free?

I would love some books, I tried to PM you but it says you do not accept them, is this because the books have gone, hope not.

    Hi

Apologies for the delay in replying. I meant to last night & then totally forgot. I still have the books & not sure why I can't receive PM'S. I will have to look into that as thought I could. I should also have mentioned I am away at the moment - are you ok to wait for a few days? I will find out postage costs & get back to you :)

    Hope this is ok? :)

If you start it on the BH Monday I will take that as my starting weight as I am away this weekend and whilst not planning to go mad, I may find it difficult to stay on plan, especially with Vodka syns! I will post my first WI the following Monday. This would count me down nicely to my holiday and keep me focused

Thanks Natterjack:) I thought that would be the case but thought I'd best check.

Shala, I hope your mouth is feeling less sore now. I'll be up for joining in the next challenge but I'll miss the last 2 weeks as I go away on the 17th June. It will be extra motivation to lose as much as I can before my holiday. :)

    Hi all

Had various challenges this last few weeks including the sudden, unexpected passing of my brother last week.

It's been really difficult as we haven't been close for many years due mostly to having very different lifestyles, but was still a shock.

Needless to say SW went out of the window and more syns than appear in both the old and new testaments combined were consumed.

I'm drawing a line under all that unhealthy eating and drinking today and I will WI tomorrow and assess the damage.

    Today's menu

Breakfast - Trimmed bacon, poached egg, tomatoes and mushrooms

    Dinner - Superspeed soup

Tea - Salmon fillet, new potatoes and salad.

    HEXA The one milk
HEXB 70 calorie Alpen light bar, 1 slice of HEXB bread, should I be allowed to split them like that.

Syns - 2 x laughing cow blue cheese triangles [3], the Alpen Light bar if I have to syn [3.5], extra light mayo [2] and an Options hot chocolate [2]

Body magic - 25 mins running, one thing I have managed to keep up to.
