  • Hi everyone :)

Can I report an STS this week please :o I didnt have a very good week and I don't have electronic scales so I may have a wee loss but as I wasnt very well behaved I would rather it was an STS.

The chocolate demon got me last week while mini me was away. I must show more restraint!!! :(

Been away all weekend so not posted. Food had been very SW friendly however have used most of my syns over the weekend on alcohol (as usual!).

Think I've got 35 syns left to last until Wednesday so ave 11 a day so not too bad but will try to keep a bit lower than that as not absolutely sure I've included everything at the weekend!

    Having a Green day today:

B - scrambled eggs, 1 slice of WM bread (0.5 HEB)
    L - beans on toast (0.5 HEB)
    D - 70g cooked chicken (HEB2), salad, tinned potatoes

HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day; won't have a 2nd HEA though.

Have banana, oranges & pineapple if want some fruit; also Mullerlights I can have as snacks if I fancy something.

Will probably have a Fruit Split lolly this evening for 3 syns.

-2 lb for me today. had a mixed week in that I had oh birthday and a work night out but i think that I chose carefully although I hadn't any choice with OH dinner as his parents cooked. Still I am motivated to stay going even with a little blip now and again.
I haven't been keeping a strict food diary and that needs to change. I need to know how many syns exactly I am using. I don't think i went over any day and I was saving them from nights out. Still it is a small thing to do so getting my !!! in gear now to keep the momentum going.

Lord Duke - it's a good idea to post your menus on here. Even though I'm at target and have been for a couple of years I still find it helps me to keep track of things.

A lot of us on here tend to do the 105 syns for the week and count down. It certainly works for me as I WI on Thursday am so I know I'll go over at the weekend and then am able to pull back and have far fewer syns from Monday to Wednesday.

I only have a cup of tea before going to WI on Thursday morning and have a banana after which keeps me going until I get home around lunchtime.

  • Just a quick question really,

I don't have a target weight, when I first started my consultant never asked about it and I never really thought about it.

Now I have been doing just that and have decided that I really don't have a target weight, I think it will be somewhere around 10st but to be honest I'm really not fussed on the actual weight as it will just be when I feel comfortable (and have a flat tummy!) is anyone else the same or so you guys have a target weight set?

It's entire up to you whether or not you set a target. Some members do, some don't.

Quite a few just call target when they are at a weight they are happy with.

I don't really have a target weight either. I am happy now I am back in a size 14, but I am going to keep going until my BMI is in the "healthy" range instead of over weight ( I started out as obese). I've around 1/2 a stone to go then will re-evaluate.

Shala can you put me down as a STS this week please. Been on plan all week again, but no one seems to have told my body! Went out dancing at the weekend and had 3 vodka and diet cokes, so well within my syns for the week as I only tend to use around 8 daily. Missed my Easter challenge by 1lb, but sure I will get there in the end.

Easter holidays here so going to have to find things to do to keep my busy and out of the kitchen. We are away at the weekend and there will be much drinking and dancing and food options may be limited, but will do my best to control the damage.

Have a good week everyone :)

I am determined to be 'on it' today, especially as I will not be home tonight for dinner, so I'm taking it with me.

    Here's today's plan : EE

    B - Danio yogurt (1), apple, banana
L - Savoury rice, carrot, onion, chicken. Ketchup (1), satsuma, fruit tea
snack - 10 cal jelly (0.5), shape crumble yogurt (0.5)
D - Bacon, lettuce, carrot, tomato, onion, cucumber, pickled onions. Slice of w/m bread.
    snack - velvet crunch (4)

Possible further snacks: banana, apple. Possibly a treat of a highlight hot choc if I feel I want it (2)

    HeA - milk in tea/coffee
HeB - Slice of w/m bread
    Total Syns: 7 (possibly 9)

I'm not leaving anything to chance this week. I would really like to lose 2-3lb this week, as I have my interview next week, and I think it would give me a bit of a psychological boost to feel I was being proactive to improve my confidence. I've also ordered a load of dresses from Next to try on, that will arrive tomorrow. I don't actually possess a dress, other than my wedding dress in the loft! I want to be seen as smart, not frumpy and mumsy. I'm no good in heels, so will hope that a low pair of wedge/courts will do the trick (also on order). Failing that, the trousers and jacket will have to do!
One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
