Well done on all the losses. Lantanna that's awesome news that you are so close to your 6 atone award :T.
Been keeping up with the thread and sticking to plan, but not been posting much as it's half term and full on here!
Today's Green Day Menu
B - 35g Sultana Bran (HEB1), chopped banana, blueberries and Vanilla mullerlight.
L - Had a picnic out so took a box of cous cous with cucumber, tomatoes, piquante peppers, pickled onions and sweetcorn mixed in. 2 alpen light bars (HEB2).
Snack - orange mullerlight.
D - Quorn bolognaise bake packed with peppers, onions and mushrooms, topped with 2xHEA cheese.

had a quick weigh in check before tomorrow but it was +1 so putting that down to just eating not long ago!
Will report my actual loss/gain tomorrow as I think if I write on here I will work harder, no one wants to write a gain!£0.00/£2014 saved!

I buy the 400g loaves for me and they generally last me over a week so costwise not that bad.
Unfortunately DH can't eat WM bread as it makes his IBS flare up so he has white, although at the moment he's trying the new Kingsmill High Fibre white loaf which seems to be OK (it's only £1 a loaf at the moment in Tesco, which is a bonus). I'm wondering whether because it's high fibre SW might make it a HEB (hoping!) - that would certainly save some money if we could both eat the same bread!
Denise
I've been buying the new Kingsmill High Fibre bread for my children, and checked today to compare the fibre content with the Allinson High Fibre bread, and there is 1g of fibre difference per 100g - 7g for the Kingsmill, 8g for Allinson. Then I looked to see the fibre for other HEB bread, and the Nimble Malted grain is 5.8g fibre for 100g, and the Seed Sensations is great at 12.4g of fibre per 100g. I wonder if the Kingsmill will eventually make it's way onto the list, as the calorie content is less than many others at 84cals, with 2.6g fibre? Not sure if SW has a connection with Kingsmill, and it tends to promote those products that perhaps pay for advertising in magazines? I'm a tad cynical about these things. :cool:MaddyWaddy wrote: »
1.5lb off for me please
Failed miserably at this challenge although I have been posting my gains so I am taking responsibility somewhere
I've failed too, although not at quite a gain on the chart overall - yet! Really haven't been focussed enough, and it shows.gingerfurball wrote: »I'm so looking forward to getting started on MondayI feel like a Fatty McButterpants!
Welcome back GFB. Monday isn't far away, and you can get back into the swing of things. Feeling like you do is great to keep you motivated and on plan though, so use it to your advantage.
Lantanna - good to see you still posting, despite feeling pants - albeit they're now size 12Almost 6st!! Wow, I am not worthy :rotfl:
Beanie - gentle hugs for you lovely, and wishing you well xx
Well now I've read the 6 pages since my last postI am so impressed at all the losses coming in, and feeling a bit of a fraud for my miserable gain/loss/gain/loss of recent weeks. In the past I would have probably quietly drifted from the thread, and stopped going to class, but this time is different. I'm not in a race, it's a leisurely long walk to my destination of target weight, so I'm not going to stress, or beat myself up. I know if I was completely on plan I'd be losing more, and more often, but I'm living life as it's going to continue. So long as I'm keeping it going in the right-ish direction, I'm fine with that. This many months in I should be doing a LOT better I know, so maybe need to knuckle down a bit now, and be more 'on it'.
So, with that in mind, I've had 2 chocolate biscuits already today!! (why's there no head against the brick wall smiley when you need it?)
today's plan is : Green
B - Danio yogurt (1.5), banana, apple
L - 2 slices bread [HEB 1 & 2], cucumber, ham (2), LF yogurt (1)
D - Omelette, leeks, mushrooms, mixed salad, tomatoes, reduced fat cheese [HEA1]
Milk [HEA2]
Snacks - milk choc biscuits (8), some tortillas (4)
Looks like about 16.5 syns, which I'll claw back tomorrow.
Grrr! I had visitors yesterday and they brought with them the tortillas and sweets. I avoided the sweets, but can't believe the children have left some of the tortilla chips! Thankfully not loads of them, and much less nowI know I need to go a few days cold turkey to get off the sugar, that I'd had last week, and am now constantly craving, hence the biscuits.
One good thing is I've discovered some delicious free fruit teas - yay! I'm celebrating a win when I find one :T:j
Take care you lovely lot!One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
just popping in to show my face, mad busy with work at the moment and have to drive to Holland from Newcastle tonight, hotel Sat, do a show Sunday then drive back. Got myself a pile of fruit and loads of bottles of water to try and keep away from service station snacks.
Do not want another gain at next weeks weigh in.
Have a good weekend everyone.0 -

Hey everyone. Am new to this thread. I have tried Slimming World on and off in the past but really need to do something. Just found out I'm expecting my second child and am 16 stone. I had gestational diabetes with first baby, but was wondering if I can start now I know I'm pregnant and whether my midwife can refer me, not just my doctor. I don't mind paying but have been reading that you get them in blocks- do I need to pay for a big block (which I probably couldn't afford) or do you get so many as a taster? Thanks xxSealed Pot Challenge 7 (2014) #1851

Hi all! Not been online for a few days so just catching up on all your posts.
I have pretty much stuck to plan all week, although I have completely maxed out my syns most days. I have changed my WI day from Saturday to Friday and am pleased to report a loss of 3lb!0
