so easily done these days :rotfl:
Thanks for checking, yes I see what you mean... One of the toasts should be hex B and not 6 Syns typing error ??:)0 -

I'd assumed that porridge was made with milk and thus HEA/HEB and then toast and spread 6 syns.
I definitely make your syns 17 for the day. I wouldn't worry too much about having a couple of extra syns, just cut back tomorrow to 13 syns to even things out. A lot of us on here work on weekly syns of 105 and reduce down so that we can have extra at weekends or for special occasions.
Off to WI in about an hour but thought I'd post my menu for today before going and will post WI result later. Hoping for no worse than STS!
EE today:
B - banana - after WI
L - roast beef & salad sandwich - HEB + 1 for mayo instead of spread
D - chicken & lentil one pot - which will be full of veg including onions, tomatoes, mushrooms & peppers.
HEA will be SS milk throughout the day in tea
Snacks: Mullerlight, pineapple, banana, orange.
Going shopping today and will see if I fancy another other fruit.
Not sure what other syns I'll have today but quite likely to have a fruit split lolly this evening - 3 syns - so a total of 4 so far.

Hi all
Thanks for the comments for my hairy daughters! I am actually allergic to them but I take a tablet every day & always wash my hands after handling them.
I never had my HEA yesterday, didnt even realise, I had 3 coffees so I am not going to syn the milk I had in them, hate missing out a healthy extra, feel as if I have been cheated :rotfl:
So EE today:-
B - Fresh fruit salad, mullerlight greek mango 1/2 syn
L - Tuna, pasta with red pepper & spring onion, salad, melon, strawberries, pineapple
D - Italian Chicken, 1.5 syns with either rice & salad or actifry chips & salad, not sure yet.
HEA & HEB will have 3 x sesame seed ryvitas with philli, beetroot & pickles.
Good luck to all that are WI this morning.

Morning everyone...I haven't been in here for ages (does anyone remember me lol!!) - so I joined the Easter challenge and then totally disappeared...but thing is I took a really horrible chest infection and flu - so I've been totally sick (coughing, aches, pains...etc) for the last FIVE WEEKS! So I've not trained (I was training for the London Marathon - which is on this Sunday coming) so I had to pull out of that.
I've felt quite sorry for myself but I'm starting to feel a good bit better and I'm up for getting stuck into SW again (holiday in 5 weeks - would LOVE to have a good 10 pounds off)
I'm going to wait till Monday to start but I'm reading the posts here to motivate me...the reason I'm waiting till then is that it's our 27th wedding anniversary tomorrow and we're going away - lovely restaurant and hotel - so I want to get that eating out of the way lol!
My goal/challenge is to lose that 10 pounds in the 5 weeks...funnily enough I've not gained much weight...just fluctuating up and down a couple of pounds...all that coughing must have been like exercise!!
Well done to everyone on all the hard work...:D0 -
Still here, still being hounded by the dog.
Roll on 5pm please - wi tonight - don't think I'll have anything off but as long as its not a gain I'll be ok.
Think I'm going to take myself off out tonight to buy something to cheer myself up lol xx0 -
Morning all, just a quick post this morning. The wheels have come right off the wagon at this end. After being a total angel at the all inclusive buffet 3 times a day when on holiday, I've just lost the plot since I've come back. I'm full of the cold plus have really hurt my back somehow so can't really cook, so I've just been grabbing rubbish / bread / takeaways. I looked at the scales yesterday and was GUTTED at what I saw but just seem to have lost all my motivation.........can anyone help???? I just feel like I am right back to square one at the moment. Also very hormonal, hence the totally self indulgent whinging!!

I think what macpep's said is the best advice any of us can give. I'm convinced planning is the key. Id suggest you sit down and write a meal plan for the coming week (mine always go from Friday to Friday) and then do a shop. Make sure you buy plenty of free/low syn snacks too. What with feeling ill and the hormones it's not going to be easy but you'll feel so much better if you get back in control.
My EE plan for the day:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast
L: bubble & squeak (LO veg from last night's supper)SW Bolognese
Syns: possibly 6 for extra toast
DH and I are trying to eat our way through the bread in the freezer as it had mounted up to filling a drawer. He made me two slices of toast today based on the fact that it was very 'thin' although it was a full sized loaf. He's absolutely right, there's a huge difference between a slice of basic wholemeal (I think it was Hovis) and our usual Seed Sensations which is thick and chunky. As I CBA to weigh slices of bread I may have synned.:o
Didn't manage to get to WI this morning but feeling fairly OK. So, leave me at
STS please Shala.
Hope you're having a great time at the wedding. Weather's great here, hope it is with you.0 -

Hi Everyone,
You probably don't remember me but I was part of the SW thread last year. Last year I managed to lose just over a stone, going from 10 stone 6 to 9 stone 4 on SW. It was all going great but then, in September, I started studying for my MA and was no longer able to attend meetings as there were none that fitted around my course. Needless to say I have gained weight.
I've just got back from visiting family abroad and this has resulted in me now weighing almost the same as I did when I started Slimming World. I have gained nearly a stone and hate my body. My self esteem is really low and I'm back to hating pictures of myself, seeing myself in the mirror and not being able to ever feel like I look nice.
There are a few problems. One is that I am really struggling with my course and cooking/preparing meals etc. I leave the house at 7am and return anything between 7pm and 11pm in the evening. I am also a coeliac so can't rely on mugshots or a lot of the quick fixes. I find that I am using and craving sugar to get through the day. I've been surviving on Nakd Bars, Fruit and Nut Mixes and milky sugary coffees. The college cafe doesn't serve any food I can eat with my Coeliacs - they serve mainly pies, sandwiches, pasta salads etc. There are no meetings around here that I can go to because of my course finishing so late and also there are no weekend meetings in this area. But I can't go on getting fatter and more miserable. I've also had a lot of health problems recently and want to eat healthier.
I am going to try going it alone. I have a couple of weeks off uni as I don't go back until the end of April and I'm trying to get back on track. I'm having my last "blowout" today then starting back on SW tomorrow.
I might have to come on here now and again for a bit of support and advice, hope you don't mind.0 -

No might about it, if you're going it alone then you should definitely come on here!:D
I'd say that if you've done it before you can do it again! Get planning, especially for what you can take to college during the day and easy meals for breakfast and when you get back. Maybe a bit of weekend batch cooking?
I don't know a great deal about coeliac. Is it like gluten free? Hopefully there'll be others on the thread that can offer specific advice.
Welcome:)0
