I've missed so much on here, just so short of time right now. Week 6 just 0.5 loss, but its in the right direction, and I will meet my goal!

Seems to have been very busy last night and this morning - had 3 pages to read since I posted yesterday. Syns went up too high yesterday so will be very surprised if I get a loss this week - DH bought home a bottle of Prosecco so had a couple of glasses, and very nice it was too!

    Having a Green day today:

B - 2 Rocky Road HiFi bars (HEB1) with black coffee (running late, had originally planned porridge with Mullerlight!)
L - HM beanburger, chips, salad
D - Jacket potato, baked beans, cheese (HEB2)

HEA - milk in tea throughout the day
    Snacks - bananas, pineapple, Mullerlight

Will try to do without syns today to limit the damage from the extra wine last night!

Hello, can i join in , i have never had the guts to post , i have 2 and a half stone to lose and am starting tomorrow. I'm going to try doing this from home, hoping i can be a bit slimmer by the summer . I lost 7 and a bit stone on s w before but put on 2 and a half due to ill health.

Welcome.:) How long ago since you went to SW before? I'm sure you'll cope fine with support on here but you could go to a group and get new books and the introductory talk for £5 with this week's Bella voucher.

Thanks for reminding me about my ironing mountain!:(

    Back with menu soon.
  • Thanks Mamam , My son has been away for a few days so most of the ironing was his, but its done now. I have changed the beds and washed them and its now going on the line to dry , it should do as its a beautiful day. I lost 7 and a bit stone about 3-4 years ago but put 2 and a half on due to bad health and i want to get it off again, i have collected the leaflets that have been in the papers that now do ee and a friend gave me her books.

So you're raring to go! I think the best way is to post your menus on here as regularly as you can (not just for tweaks but it concentrates the mind and helps with the planning). Oh and don't forget to post your losses (or sts or gains)!;)

We had the SW hotpot last night. Although thoroughly enjoyed (and some LO for my lunch) it was a bit more tomatoey than my usual recipe. Another time I'll use a bit less stock (poured some off part way through cooking) and little or no puree. I prefer the more meaty, traditional flavour.

MY EE plan for the day:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast
    L: LO hot pot
D: liver, onions, mash, peas, carrots, cabbage, gravy
    Syns: gravy

    Hi All

Some great losses here, well done :T

    B -Fresh fruit salad, 0% activia lemon/lime
L - Speed soup, fresh fruit salad, alpen light
D - Birds eye Salmon in lemon & herb sauce, actifry chips & salad

Pretty much same as yesterday but we got a new kitten last night (other cat none too pleased but she will get used to her) & she distracted me a lot this morning so couldn't prepare salad as planned & had to grab soup out the freezer :rotfl:

I will have other alpen later on with tea, still keeping syns low (roughly 5 a day) so I can eat in London guilt free
