bookworm_nat123 wrote: »hey all,
so am at my dads currently on a "mini break" as it were. so not really able to follow SW untill I go home in a week and a bit. But I was wondering what sort of impact being here will have.
For example, they eat a lot of healthy foods but do use oil to cook it all so tonight was a stir fry with plenty of veg and rice. So was easily able to have the 1/3 superfree but was wondering what the impact of the oil is in terms of syns.

A table spoon of extra virgin olive oil is a HEB or 6 syns. Obviously if this is shared between more than one person the syns are then divided accordingly. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Thanks Amberfinn - am veggie in that I don't eat meat - I realise that mullers have gelatine in them - I just don't like the taste and texture of meat.
I'm the same. I don't eat meat or fish as I've never liked the taste (Mum eventually stopped forcing me to eat it when I was 9 as I used to try and swallow it without chewing and she was worried I'd choke!). I eat other products though like dairy or gelatine. The Green Plan works brilliantly for me. Good luck XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

Hiya
I was convinced I would have a gain as my scales at home stubbornly stuck at 14 11 no matter what I didi couldn't go for my usual pre-WI walk as it was piddling down so I prepared for the worst- plus I was (sorry for TMI) constipated which didn't help
I felt enormous as none of my clothes fit right but I noticed that my Hollister skinny joggers I'm wearing today seemed bigger than usual even with leggings underneath and my baggy Hollister t-shirt was baggier than usual. Anyway I was well chuffed to lose 1/2
need to continue with the hard work for the next couple of weeks so I can look nice and slinky in my size 14 ball dress
So tomorrow's plan:
B: Scrambled eggs and smoked salmon, NAS Ribena
L: Diet Coke Quorn, Uncle Ben's Thai Chilli Rice (2.5 syns)pink lady apple, NAS Ribena
T: Tesco Healthy living salmon and broccoli pie (2 syns) steamed mixed veg, Mullerlight
S: 2 x HiFi light bars (HEXB) 7up free
Supper: 3 Ryvita Cracked black pepper (4.5 syns) HEXA Laughing Cow light, ham

Morning wizkid, sorry you've had a bad night. Hope you feel better soon.
You can switch between Green and EE on a daily basis if you want to, as long as each full day is either one or the other. For example, Mon Green, Tues EE, Wed Green, Thurs EE etc. Or you can have 6 days of one in a week and only one of the other, it really doesn't matter.
Sorry for rambling, I'm sure there is a more concise way of writing all that, it's just too early to think of it.
ETA, heh heh see, Shala beat me too it and was way more concise :-)Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

bookwormnat123 - HM white bread will need to be weighed in order to work out the syns - always seems to be heavier than shop bought so usually more syns - I think it's probably because shop bought has so much air in it compared to HM.
Having a Red day for a change today:
B - bacon & mushroom sandwich - HEB + 1 (spread) + 1 (brown sauce)
L - roast beef salad with fat free french dressing
D - sausage tray bake (local butcher does SW friendly sausages @ 1 syn each) with loads of roasted peppers, onions, garlic, carrots etc - 2 (sausages); jacket pot (HEB2)
HEA - SS milk in tea throughout the day
HEB1 - bread
HEB2 - jacket potato
Syns: 4
Have been shopping already today so now have some fruit other than bananas!
If anyone needs Mullerlights Asda have got them 10 for £3 at the moment but not many flavours available in my local store or online.

Morning all, I had a gain of 1 lb last night which I'm a bit gutted about. But I know where it came from, out for dinner with the girls on Thursday, but was good, chose a low syn meal and we shared dessert between 3.
On Sat we had a BBQ with the inlaws, main meal was good, withing suns, but then my step daughter made s sponge cake with lashings of cream, and mum in law brought triffle with yummy chocolate base, plus a couple of glasses of wine, and there you have it!
I may try green days same as wizkid, as I'm vegetarian too, will have to dig the book out and read up so I know what I'm doing first. I seem to be sticking around the same weight, so something different might help.0
