Yay. I just weighed in and had a loss of 3 and a half for the first week. I am so happy ......
    Yes I can do this
No it is not a diet it is a lifestyle change

    Great post!! :Ton your weightloss.
sary, I gave up wearing black trousers when I lost weight. I like opaques, heels and a skirt or dress and a short cardi as 'business' dress although I sometimes wear a jacket. Good luck with the interview when it comes.:)

Sorry to hear you're still feeling down lantanna but do keep in touch. I'm missing your posts. I don't think big knickers have been mentioned for several days!:D

Wiz kid, not sure what menu you're doing today but if it's EE then you've had too many healthy extras.. You're allowed only one of each on EE. If it's a green day then you've still had too many as you've had bread, porridge and pork.

It's your supper that's put you over, could you change this to some free food instead of toast?

Eta just realised this is tomorrow's menu so you have time to change it.. :D
Thanks I have changed to E E please check and see if I am correct.

Hi all - I have just started SW online doing EE. I am vegetarian and really fussy about food - tend to eat the same things a lot! I love bananas, Mullerlight yoghurts, eggs, baked beans. I notice that these are all syn free - does this really mean that I can eat as much of them as I like? Or am I being optimistic? I will, of course, make an effort to eat all the things that I should! I am finding it a bit complicated at the moment but don't really want to go to a class.
I am 62 and have gone from about 8 stone to 10 and a half stone over the past few years - would like to get back to about 9 stone.

Hi, yep, you can eat as much as you want of all of those things, just stop eating when you are full :D. You need to make sure that 1/3 of your plate is made up of super free food though.

    Today I have been ok

B-bread, mini baby bel, marmite toasted sandwich A/B

L-SW tortilla from website with added ham and mushrooms

    D-SW chilli and savoury rice.

    Syns- haribo tangtastic 3

I will have mango, grapes, banana and a 1/2 syn jelly later, so total syns for the day will be 3.5.

    1st weigh-in tomorrow night :D

As you are vegetarian you would be better doing Green days - you then have 2 HEAs and 2 HEBs. There is also a larger range of foods you can have as HEB. You also don't have to worry about the one third SuperFree as much, although it is better to try to have it.

You should have a book which shows the HEAs and HEBs for Green days as well as the book for EE.

If you have any questions or want to any help just ask and someone will come along and answer your queries.

    Good luck.

Just to let you know, not sure if you are veggie as in just don't eat meat but eat other products with animal based ingredients disregard this!

But muller lights are not veggie friendly as they have gelatine in them :( I'm pretty sure it's all of them but there may be a few exceptions!

  • hey all,

so am at my dads currently on a "mini break" as it were. so not really able to follow SW untill I go home in a week and a bit. But I was wondering what sort of impact being here will have.

For example, they eat a lot of healthy foods but do use oil to cook it all so tonight was a stir fry with plenty of veg and rice. So was easily able to have the 1/3 superfree but was wondering what the impact of the oil is in terms of syns.

They also only eat white bread (homemade tho) does this have the same syns as shop white bread?

    xx

Thanks Amberfinn - am veggie in that I don't eat meat - I realise that mullers have gelatine in them - I just don't like the taste and texture of meat.
