Brilliant, I've added you back in..

I think we're on week 6 but I get so confused by this point in the challenges that we may still be on week 5!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Thank you , gave me a real giggle, glad its just not me gets confused. anyway don't suppose it matters much what week it is as long as we have lost some weight. I joined the challenge as going to Amsterdam on the 21st and really needed to shift some weight so my arthy knees can keep up with DD and DGD . they love to sightsee, went to Rome in January and swear they were trying to kill me off, never been so glad to see a taxi in my life, we went to Prague the year before and they marched me up 5 flights of stairs to see a puppet show.

Hi all. I haven't posted for a few days but I have stuck to the plan, except that I discovered that the Morrisons NuMe cheeses that I had been using for my HEAs can only be used as HEBs on the Green plan. I'm hoping I haven't done too much damage as I really, really want to be below my starting weight when I get on those scales tomorrow morning.

Wiz kid, not sure what menu you're doing today but if it's EE then you've had too many healthy extras.. You're allowed only one of each on EE. If it's a green day then you've still had too many as you've had bread, porridge and pork.

It's your supper that's put you over, could you change this to some free food instead of toast?

Eta just realised this is tomorrow's menu so you have time to change it.. :D

Been bad bad bad bad bad today.

Hubby was late picking me up to go to the christening so did not have time to sort out any food to take with me.

Breakfast - alpen light and banana
buffet lunch - half small brown roll with beef, half small white roll with ham and mustard, some corned beef (picked out of slice of corned beef pie) a piece of malteaser cake. (then made the mistake of saying how nice it was so was given some to take home and I ate another 2 slices!)
Tea - went out for a meal for hubbys birthday - ordered mixed grill left the onion rings and fried mushrooms and got a side order of veg. Ate steak, gammon, lamb chop, half a sausage, piece of black pudding, jacket pot, fried egg, cauliflower, carrot and broccoli, tomato and peas.

Hungry now so going to have melon and a yoghurt.

    Hea - milk in cuppas
    heb - alpen light

    Syns far to many again!

Been on the exercise bike but only had time to do 3 km. I know I am going to have a gain on Wednesday.

Week 5 weighed day early as busy tomorrow. 2lb loss please Shala

I use all the SW principles with MFP but rather than syn I calorie count to decide if allowed the treat and exercise for my treats. I think like everyone else, its what works for you that you need to go with. I have lost every week though, so whilst I feel full, have my treats and still lose I am very happy. It definitely stops me accidentally having extras.

Well done everyone whose lost this week

Hey guys, I have been AWOL for a while a good fews so haven't caught up!

Had a horrible few weeks with some very worrying news, so have been up and down,

So I have only last a lb in like 3-4 weeks? So been terrible today included, but gonna read through my book tomorrow and write a food diary see if that helps me get back on it. I have stopped going to group as it is so expensive, so really hoping I can get back into it :)

wiz, I agree with Shala that you haven't got the plan quite right. I'm assuming you mean to do Green in which case you've got too many HEBs (porage, toast and pork). Depending how much milk you've had you might have been able to call it an EE day as you've got a reasonable amount of SF in there. Another possibility you aren't losing is too much bread as it doesn't agree with everyone.

Have we suggested Success Express before for a bit of a shake up? Without going into the details, a start would be really upping the SFs to more like two thirds instead of a third.

Good to see you back amber. A meal plan and food diary is a great help. I'm sure the No.1 secret of SW is planning. I know lots of people say that SW is expensive and I suppose it's relative but I find shopping mainly in Aldi and having fairly small portions of meat keeps the costs down.
