Morning all
Well I'm ashamed to say I was a little naughty last night. I've been so strict with myself that I toppled off the wagon and ate a bag of pick n mix at the cinema. I felt thoroughly guilty afterwards although I must say I enjoyed it! However it doesn't seem to have done much harm thank goodness. Will continue being good today and do plenty of Body Magic today and tomorrow and should hopefully be ok.
Today's menu plan:
B: HEXB porridge, cherry Mullerlight, Apple, glass of NAS Ribena and cup of coffee with a little HEXA milk
L: MugShot, 3 Ryvita Cracked Black Pepper (4.5) 3 HEXA Laughing Cow light blue cheese, ham, banana.
T: Quorn peppered steaks, steamed mixed veg, a few Aunt Bessie's homestyle roasties (2.5) one piece of chicken with some Chicken Tonight Spanish Chicken (4 syns) fresh strawberries, Mullerlight
S: scrambled egg, tin of beans
Drinks will be NAS Ribena, water and 7Up Free.
Syns: 11
Body Magic: either a walk or time on the bike depending on the weather.
Have a lovely day everyone x*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200 -

I went to slimming world for a few months a couple of years back. I did loose weight with it but due to other health problems was finding it too hard to carry on with it.
I've decided though I can't carry on as I am, so am thinking of going back but trying out a different group leader as well.
Does anyone know if there are any vouchers or deals on this week at all? I think I'm still going to go either way, as I am going on holiday in 12 weeks so I think that might help my motivation to get started.
I have a lot to loose and am limited in excercise due to disabilties, but I've decided even though this is going to hurt I can't carry on like I am just getting bigger each year.[STRIKE]Original Mortgage 07/07 £160000 LTV 100% [/STRIKE]Remortgaged 10/13 £118000 LTV 84%

suse, I'm told there's a voucher out on Tuesday. I think it's in Bella. There's a few people on here with disabilities but they manage well so don't worry. There are also lazy people (or at least one lazy person ME:D) that are losing weight with minimal or no exercise.:o
I don't do MFP wiz but I think what people do when they combine it with SW is eat SW food but within the recommended calories for MFP. So still the same balance between free food, SFs, syns and HEXs but keeping the calories low enough for MFP.
What MFP doesn't take into account is food optimising which is what makes SW work. So it's not about the calories but what you're actually eating. Calorie counting alone could be really unhealthy.l
Hope that makes a bit of sense, don't be disheartened. If the calories on MFP are too low for you to sustain than don't worry about it, just stick with SW on its own.
My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, baked beans, HEB toast
L: LO veg fried up with picklesroast pork, roast parsnips and potatoes, cauli, broccoli, carrots, red onions
Syns: weekend wine, HM gravy, scrape of spread0 -

Wizkid don't worry too much about MFP - if you were doing SW successfully then it's working for you, carry on and don't worry about calories.
If it's making you disheartened then i'd say delete your account and carry on food optimising!!
Apologies, Meg72 - I must have missed your post - I take people off the list if they haven't posted for a couple of weeks.
I've found your post from last week but I must have messed your line up as I only have 4 results from you in total. Including last week I have you at 7.5lb.. is that right?
Menu plan for me today..EE
B - banana
L - 2 toast (heb) ham, cheese (hea), pineapple, crisps (4)
T - gammon ham, mash potato, carrots, mint sauce (2)
S - melon
Need to go and cut up the melon so I can snack on that all day instead of reaching for the high syn stuff. I've also ordered some pre-prepared fruit in the shopping tonight, I know it's expensive but it means i'll eat fruit rather than grab something else quick IYKWIM.Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -

Thanks Shala, yes 7.5lb is right, target was 7lb. What week are we on I am thinking that next week is number 5 or have I missed one ?
I don't post a lot but love the thread and read and thank all. I am only loosely following the plan as such a lot of stuff in that must be used. Cant wait to use it all up and restock with only healthy stuff,Slimming World at target0 -
Hi everyone, just thought I would pop my head in as I havent posted for a couple of days
I managed mainly to stick to plan although I have had some chocolate friday and Saturday night I put it down to that time of the month which may also explain why not much of a loss last week.
Todays EE:
B- 1 Alpen light (HEB) muller light yog
L - Salad with ham, 2 mini babybel light (HEA), Alpen light (HEB) greek yog (0.5)
D - SW lamb shanks with mash, carrots, swede, runner beans, muller yog
Extras:
2 Sugars (2)
Grapes
maybe a little butter in mash (3)
2nd weigh in in the morning:hello:"Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing it doesn't go in a fruit salad0 -

Brilliant, I've added you back in..
I think we're on week 6 but I get so confused by this point in the challenges that we may still be on week 5!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Mortgage amount at 31/12/2011 £166,050 now £0 as at Sept 21 - 15yrs 4 months early.0 -
Hi Wizkid, I struggle with MFP too, although in my case it was adamant I was eating so few calories that I should weigh half of what I do. Mix n match doesn't work for my metabolism. SW does if I stick to it regardless of the calories I consume along the way. That said I use MFP to track my steps and weight (via Fitbit) and to keep up with some friends.
My sneaky mid week weigh in suggests a small loss is likely tomorrow, this is despite a midweek crisis henceforth known as frenchfancygate. *coughs*.
Someone mentioned going to Nandos which set me off thinking on Friday. B&M have a Nandos spice rub for 50p or so and I have a freezer full of chicken. Anyway we had chicken with the rub (took it off the bone and then made stock with the carcass for soup another day like a good old styler), and then had it with SW wedges with a caramelised onion dip, huge salad and HM coleslaw. It was superb. I used fat free greek yoghurt mixed with light mayo for the dip and for the coleslaw so not a low of syns for a real treat of a meal - 2 syns for the mayo, 1syn for the sugar on the onions. I used the olive oil for my HEXB for the onions too but I think I could do it with fry light with a good pan.'If you have a garden and a library, you have everything you need' Marcus Tullius Cicero0
