WI for me tonight, and a 1lb loss for me. Forgot to mention I won SOTM last week in group, then both myself and sister decided we had had enough of our rude consultant, and decided to change group. I thought it was a 'tough love' approach but last week she said something in group that left us both really shocked. A lady had one of those weeks when she wasn't completely on plan but had a surprise loss. I know there are a few of us who have experienced this. Anyway the consultant, basically told her off and said she should be careful what she said as there were others in group who were struggling and she probably didn't want to hear what she was saying!! She probably is good at her job, but her style is def not for me or my sister!!
So back to a Thursday WI which Im pleased about, and have lost the most weight working from Thursday to Thursday. I'm all motivated for a good week, and decided to have a cooking spree on Saturday and have a soup week. I'm also going to mix my HE up and have milk and cereal, instead of cheese and hifi bars.
Well done to all of the losers, especially Mrs C 5lb in your first week is a big achievement!
Mildredd and Sary hope you are both feeling better soon. I'm feeling a bit better in myself, still feeling very tired and run down, but Im hoping sticking to plan completely this week will help. Its tough though! Sending hugs to anyone else that needs it.
You didn't by any chance leave a meeting in South East London (SE16 ish) I am sure there is more than one rude consultant, but your description sounds very familiar :eek:SPC9 #125 - £816.85

Thankyou PLMBL wish I could just finish the way I started but didn't put it all on in a couple of months did I
I won't post todays menu because I've had the day off and just snacked all day.
I did make the brownies WelshKitty mentioned a few pages ago though and they tasted super strong and I wasn't keen but realised I forgot to add the vanilla essence so might give them another try but the dog is happy enough he has some new treats for the next few days :rotfl:
I can see more of a change in myself though because if this was me before I started SW I would of just ate them because they were lying around but nope I had one and a half small squares and that was it
The extra half though just to make sure I didn't like them :rotfl:0 -

Bought new knickers too on Saturday but todays seem tighter than completely necessary.... clearly work to be done.
I have been adding my food onto MFP and keeping within 1200 calories (but using SW principles to guide) and finding it quite motivating. Particularly when I'm hungry I know not only that I can eat but that I should eat, as it recommends not dropping below 1200 and also to eat back what you burn.
Anyone who loves reading success stories (I find them so inspiring) should check out the MFP community forum. Also some great advice about "everything".
Think I have set everyone one off at ward, half the ward staff seem to have joined in.
Tuesday is music night so have managed to nip and have my 45 minutes in the gym. Did Zumba last night and booked aerobics for tomorrow night. Really feeling so much more energetic.
My stomach has definitely shrunk but remains hideous. But three months in and have lost every single week so far.
Apologies, do tend to lurk rather than post but I do read everyone's post and "thank" so you know I am interested.
I do the 1200 calories on MFP also and I do think it has been helping me loose a bit more than if I was just to do slimming world alone.
Also keeps me on track for having as much pasta as I want just because its free (it is a favourite of mine) really helps me stay on track.
I think between this forum and MFP forum is what is keeping me going.
And one day soon I want to join in with yous all in your size 12 kickers and big gym trousers :rotfl:0 -
Hi all!
Nice to see you here Helenbaybee. Good work losing so much already.
Becks, fantastic getting SOTM. :T Sounds like you made a wise decision, changing groups.
Review of Thursday's plan
Breakfast:banana & yogurt
Lunch: (this is where it all goes wrong, but I've saved hexas and hexbs for it) out with my daughter Well that was a waste of time, because I had a steak & onion baguette, followed by a HUGE apple and cinnamon scone filled with oodles fo cream and jam, so not a hexa or hexb in sight! (It was a mother's day treat)
Dinner: spiced pork & rice & 2 slices plain bread and jam - bad, bad, bad
Snack - slice of plain bread toasted with butter
Not even going to guesstimate syns.
I think I'm already in holiday mode. Won't post any plans for the next week and a bit. Right now we are still eating the dregs of what we have at home and I am definitely buying nothing else. We go away with the family -me & OH, daughter, SIL and GS (5) & son, DIL, GS (5 also) and GD (2) - on Saturday for a week. It is self catering but each adult takes a turn at cooking evening meal assisted by his/her partner, so that's 6 meals accounted for, and we have one big meal out. Another couple is responsible for clearing up, doing any washing up and the last couple gets the night off. Breakfasts are very varied, depending on who is in charge. Sometimes we have lunch together, or a picnic if it's a good day, or we all go off in separate family groups. So I think it's safe to say I am unlikely to be on plan!
I'll still pop in here and earwig.
Keep spirits up everyone.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
Hi all
Sorry I've been a bit quiet. The black dog is firmly in the room for me this week I'm afraidI had a small gain this week although I'm astonished it was only 0.5 after all the rubbish I ate at the weekend
but I feel huge and my size 16 jeans are tight
I've tried my dress on for my do and it still fits but it feels snug.. I've been really good so don't understand how
I've struggled with body magic as I haven't felt very well so I need to do some more I think
Today's menu:
B: HEXB porridge with Mullerlight (1.5 syns- the one with the cherry underlayer) pint of NAS cordial
L: Jacket potato with beans and mushy peas, Diet Coke
Snack: Mango pieces
T: Tesco Healthy living spaghetti bolognaise,(7 syns) steamed mixed veg, raspberries and Mullerlight, pint of NAS cordial
Supper: Coop Sweet Chilli Chicken noodle salad (3.5 syns) 75cl Highland Spring
Syns: 13.5
Body Magic: I walked from one end of Nottingham City Centre to the other, then up a bit further and right back to the station via the shops so a good long walk

Thank you xx
I can see a Spanish chicken at 5 syns and Prawn Noodles at 3 syns but not exactly sure if they're the right ones.
Good to see you back denise, it seems you're like me at the moment: managing to stay in target range because of lots of off plan meals.
In the morning, I'm going to do my meal plan and shopping list. I know of one pub lunch for next week but other than that I'm hoping to stay on plan up to Good Friday. Well, that's the plan....0 -
Good morning everyone.
Shala - Can you change total please - I'm one and a half pounds off today, so that's 13 in total.
Three quarters of a a pound more and its a stone. :-)
ThanksSW: Wk1 (5) Wk2 (2.5) Wk3 - Wk 4 (4) Wk 5 - (1.5) Wk 6 (1) Total off 1 stone!:j0 -
Thankyou greentiger
Food plan for today,
Breakfast - not really a fan
Snack - Orange and a babybell light or 2 (HEA)
Lunch - Salad if you can call it a salad just lettuce, cucumber and some baby sweetcorn. Have no dressing left so I’ll pick some up before work if I have time I won’t worry too much if not because I’ll be looking forward to Dinner
Dinner - Off to Nandos so I have just had a look online for syns and I think I’ll have a ¼ or ½ chicken depending on how hungry I am when I get there with corn on the cob and diet coke (6 syns online) Will take the skin off though and I ask for plain because the medium is a little bit too spicy
Not too many syns today because I’m out at the weekend and didn’t start the week off too good so may aswell save while I can0 -
