Good morning everyone
Sincere apologies I still have not time to catch up with all the posts and maynot until next week. This is our busiest time of year at work.
Shala Moo can I report a -2lb loss for this weeks weigh in. Think this is week 5? Total loss of 11.5lb I believe.
Hopefully will catch up soon.
Have a nice day:TWeight loss since 6/01/2014: 70lb0 -
I can see where you've gone wrong today. If it's Green then you have to syn your steak or have a small amount (60g) as a HEB. I'd syn the extra bread instead as it's probably lower syns. The cereal will depend on what you have but something that could be a HEB is likely to be about 4-5 for 25g. It's not too late to change to EE by losing the sandwich and having something like a salad or eggs instead. And while I'm being extra picky:o I'm convinced you need a high proportion of SFs as veg and not just fruit so carrots could do with onions or broccoli or something with them. You'll get there, just keep plodding and sharing.:)
Thanks Maman for checking, I will do without the sandwich and have something else. As I have said before I don't like veg very much and when I make soup I put them in there I.e. Onions cauliflower broccoli
Carrots leek celery.maybe mushrooms and tomatoes, although I can eat those anytime I am so pernickerty. I do keep trying veg but I just can't acquire. The taste and texture. Thanks again0 -

Hello All,
Greentiger - lovely news for your family, and a new outfit too! What a lovely target to aim for.
Hope those enduring the black dog, or an Eyore cloud are feeling a bit brighter.... tricky with this smog, and heavy cloud blotting out a bit of sunshine in our days at the moment.
TenThirteen - I go to group, but generally don't stay, as our consultant tends to read from a prepared script, and doesn't encourage the group to have any relevant discussions. I go along with my sister and we get far more chat out of the drive there/back re. SW stuff than we do in group. I find using the online food diary and syn checker invaluable though for keeping me on plan. I would say SW is a way of healthy eating you can easily adopt for life, and it allows you to still have a real life involving going out for meals, family times, etc. I did WW before, and struggled with feeling hungry, and a lot of the snacks were very sweet, and I just lost the will to live after eating plain crumpets and sugarfree jelly all the time. I don't think a slimfast shake is any good substitute for a nice healthy tub of pasta with veg & meat, a big mixed salad with cold meats and pickles, or anything else that on SW is free and healthy. When you consider a slimfast shake is 11.5 syns, and we have a daily allowance of 15, you could just as easily use a milk allowance to have a shake, or an Options hot chocolate for 2 syns. I could use 11.5 syns so much more wickedly! Have a look at others' meal plans they post on here to give you some ideas for what to have to eat, if that helps.
Well I had a nice day out with OH on Tuesday, although it was very long, awake from 5am, and didn't get back home until after 10pm. I didn't feel 100% all day, and thought it may have been something I'd eaten. Yesterday I felt worse, and finally recognised the signs of having a bladder infection, which is starting to make my kidneys ache. I've been lucky to get a Drs. appt. this afternoon, and should hopefully have some medication to send it on it's way. I've tried keeping my fluids up as much as possible to help flush it out, but to no avail. I've suffered with bladder/kidney infections regularly since I was a child, and I tend to get one every couple of years. In fact it's probably the main history in my medical file, apart from 4 pregnancies. I rather dislike visiting the Dr., to the point where I don't even know what my own GP looks like my visits can be so rare, but I know I have to go.
So, despite feeling rubbish, I've been attempting to keep food SW friendly.
Yesterday was EE:
B - Danio yogurt (1.5), apple, satsuma, banana
L - Savoury rice, lo bolognese, mixed beans. Tinned apple slices (2), mullerlight
snack - wholemeal bread (heB) jam (2)
D - LF sausages (4), mash, mixed beans, gravy (2), ketchup (1)
HeA - milk
Total syns : 12.5
Today I'm planning a green day, as I fancy some cheese.
B - porridge HeB1, with some milk (part of HeA1)
L - savoury rice, mixed beans. sprinkle of lf cheese (2)
D - baked potato, mixed salad, mixed beans, cheese HeB2
Snacks - mullerlight, satsuma, banana, apple
I might have a highlights hot choc tonight (2).
Hope everyone else has a good day. Will try to check in again later after today's food to update any changes. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Thanks for all the kind words re my loss this week & well done to those who are also reporting fab losses :T Hugs to those who are struggling but some excellent advice being offered on here.
I'm making a conscious decision to drink more water today.
Drinks:water, tea, coffee, milk (HEA)
B:Grilled bacon, poached eggs & baked beans.
L:Chicken mug shot, muller light, grapes, banana.
T:SW chinese stir fry again. I thoroughly enjoyed it yesterday & have the other half of the ingredients to use up.
S: Alpen light bars (HEB)
The smog is particularly bad here in Wiltshire today so am keeping all the doors & windows closed today & tonight.
Shame because I'm having a washing day & would prefer it line dried.
Re; having potatoes on SW. Was good to read about them providing more fibre if the skins are left on. I always make my SW chips this way but was more due to me being lazy than health consciousMust get on, have parent~in~laws visiting at the weekend & would like to be on top of everything.

Afternoon
My plan has slightly changed today. I didn't get around to making the tortilla, but I will do so later.
So far today
B- toasted mini babybel and marmite sandwich (HEA & HEB) with 2 syns for flora light. Then I had grapes, banana and raspberries.
Went for a run, so I drank a bottle of water. I will have another bottle before the end of the day and a couple of cans of diet Pepsi.
Lunch will be KFC style chicken and salad
Dinner will be SW chilli with spicy rice. (Chilli packed with onion, tomato, much room and sweet corn)
I am having pie, mash and liquor for lunch tomorrow. Does anyone know how many syns that might be?
Thanks for any advice

No, its a micro meal. It must be quite new as I can't find it anywhere online. I have found the rice versions which are around 1-3 syns each, but can't find these ones. I think most noodle meals tend to be around 5 syns, so will have to guesstimate at that. Won't let hubby make my lunch again as it is too much hassle trying work out syns afterwards!0
