Thanks Maman for checking, I will do without the sandwich and have something else. As I have said before I don't like veg very much and when I make soup I put them in there I.e. Onions cauliflower broccoli
Carrots leek celery.maybe mushrooms and tomatoes, although I can eat those anytime I am so pernickerty. I do keep trying veg but I just can't acquire. The taste and texture. Thanks again[/QUOTE]
I make a lovely lamb shank by roasting it slowly on a bed of diced carrot, leeks and parsnips with stock. I'm sure cubed potato could substitute for the parsnip if you don't like them. Then I have them with cauli and broccoli on the side and SW roasties. I can check the recipe if you like. I also add handfuls of chopped leeks to soups. I buy them frozen from Farmfoods, really good value, no prepping and no waste.32b3in2013 wrote: »Afternoon
My plan has slightly changed today. I didn't get around to making the tortilla, but I will do so later.
I am having pie, mash and liquor for lunch tomorrow. Does anyone know how many syns that might be?
Thanks for any advice

Tortilla/frittata/Spanish omelette is one of my favourite SW snacking foods. I love them cold and hot. Potatoes and onions are the basics but try adding tomatoes, peppers, mushrooms or whatever you have in. I often use Aldi tinned potatoes as they're a great (cheap) storecupboard stand by.
Sorry, no idea about the pie and mash. I think I'd just eat it and then get back on the wagon.;)
I've been to WI today and gained 3lbs Shala.
I'm quite happy with that after my little holiday and meals out so, so far I'm STS on the challenge which is what I aimed for. I'm now 1lb below target weight so just need to be careful until Easter when I'm away again.
New cookery book for take aways/fake aways in group today. I had a glance through and lots of yummy recipes but I'm sure loads are in magazines or online. I saw 'burger in a bowl' in there. Loads of people raving about peanut Hi-Fi bars, too yummy for their own good apparently.
Today is a bit like yesterday, SW breakfast (Shreddies and milk) and a yummy lunch of hot smoked salmon with stir fried veg. Tonight I'm out for an Indian meal, so that'll be off plan and then back to it tomorrow.
I had a very successful trip to Asda today and bought loads of YS meat. I've just made 14 pork burgers from 2 packs of pork mince and frozen those. Who says SW is expensive?:rotfl:
Anyone seen denise?

Please let me be lucky - I have never heard of those honey monster things, I mixed up by having these
Alpen Lights
Weetabix
Sesame Seed Ryvita
HI-Fi Bars
WW WM Pitta
WM Bread (for breadcrumbs)
I like to keep my B for night time as a treat so having them at breakfast/lunch etc instead was me mixing them up :rotfl:
Honey Monster Stix are (admittedly small) cereal bars and you can have 2 for a HEB or count 2.5syns. They do Chocolate and Honeycomb flavour which I haven't tried yet, and yogurt and marshmallow ones which are gorgeous. They taste like those gooey rice crispy squares. I've been told you can get them in poundland or B&M for £1 per pack of 7, but the only place I've seen them so far is Tesco at £1.79 per 7 pack. XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

I'm back!
Went to WI this morning and have put on 2.5lb in my week off plan - but not too worried about it as I expected it with all the white bread & other off plan food - puddings didn't help:rotfl:. I'm still 1lb under top end of target range.
Today's not completely on plan but think I'll probably come in around 25 syns today:eek: as having HM chicken pie followed by home grown rhubarb with custard.
B - banana after WI + tasters (about 5 syns in total)
L - beans on toast (HEB);
D - pie, roast potatoes, roasted veg, peas. Rhubarb & custard
HEA will be milk in tea throughout the day.
Must get back on plan and try to lose some of the extra this week.

We can look them up for you online. Let us know which meals you chose. The salmon & broccoli is 2 syns.
Thanks Maman, I picked up the Spanish chicken with chorizo and the Thai prawn noodles as they were in the yellow sticker section. Could you look those up for me please?
Thank you xx0 -
Hello everyone,
Hope you don't mind if I join, I have been lurking for a while now and think I am now brave enough to post (just)
Little bit about me started SW for the 1st time on 3rd Dec at 17st 7.5  so far have lost 3st but just giving up a little really.
Started when I took my mam to London for a couple of days we decided not to count syns or make good choices and it has just spiralled from there.
Oh well here we go just thought adding my menus on here will give me a little bit motivation to get back into it because I would love to loose 2 stone to take me to 12 and a half just to see what I looked like. So that is my first mini target.
Anyway good luck on all your journeys I really do think the support yous have for each other is great and i look forward to joining yous0 -
Welcome HelenBayBee! Congrats on 3 stone off already.
Today's Green Day
B - Low fat Quorn Sausage, poached egg, baked beans and 'fried' potato slices (left over from last night's tea!).
S - 2 Honey Monster Stix (HEB1)
L - Quorn Quarter Pounder and 'fried' onion rings in a 57g wholemeal roll (HEB2) with a side salad of rocket, cucumber, tomatoes and Hellmans fat free vinaigrette.
D - Chinese style curried mixed vegetables (2 syns using Makway curry sauce mix), rice and dried egg noodles.
Haven't had any HEAs today so debating making a rice pud or might just have a milky hot choc using an options sachet (2syns). Failing that I'll have fruit and yogurt and not have my HEA for one day.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

One lb off for me tonight ;-). Proper post tomorrow0

WI for me tonight, and a 1lb loss for me. Forgot to mention I won SOTM last week in group, then both myself and sister decided we had had enough of our rude consultant, and decided to change group. I thought it was a 'tough love' approach but last week she said something in group that left us both really shocked. A lady had one of those weeks when she wasn't completely on plan but had a surprise loss. I know there are a few of us who have experienced this. Anyway the consultant, basically told her off and said she should be careful what she said as there were others in group who were struggling and she probably didn't want to hear what she was saying!! She probably is good at her job, but her style is def not for me or my sister!!
So back to a Thursday WI which Im pleased about, and have lost the most weight working from Thursday to Thursday. I'm all motivated for a good week, and decided to have a cooking spree on Saturday and have a soup week. I'm also going to mix my HE up and have milk and cereal, instead of cheese and hifi bars.
Well done to all of the losers, especially Mrs C 5lb in your first week is a big achievement!
Mildredd and Sary hope you are both feeling better soon. I'm feeling a bit better in myself, still feeling very tired and run down, but Im hoping sticking to plan completely this week will help. Its tough though! Sending hugs to anyone else that needs it.0
