Evening all
First day of dieting in work and it's so much easier! I planned and took my food wih me,and that's what I ate.
I must confess that I am hungry though now.. Just my journey home now and hopefully dinner will be nearly ready or I might eat my handbag (I wonder how many sins there are in my hand bag... hmmmm....) We have no 'low syn' treats in yet so wil try and suss some out ready for our next food shop, though I've scrounged £20 from an account to get some f&v, top up spices, and dried chick peas from a market we are going to tomorow. Am dribbling at the though of roasted veg again. Mmmm
I've had no syns yet today but we took out a hm curry for dinner which would have been cooked with a small amount of oil so there will be syns there.April 2021 Grocery Challenge 34.29 / 2500 -

Lantanna thanks, I was just slightly bemused by the difference between the online advice for the kettlebell. If I have time I will go and get one later in the week.
mrs lady I did couch to 5k from the podcasts a few years ago and found it worked really well. I have just started again with the 'get running' ap which does a similar thing but lets you use your own music which helps. I did run 2 of week 1 on the treadmill yesterday. My legs hurt. Also cross trainer and lower back pain, my OH has had two lots of back surgery and he is fine with our cross trainer. May be worth a short try and just see what it does? I find it ok as it doesn't stress my joints as much as say pounding along on the treadmill.
A good WI yesterday with a 3.5lb loss, so 7.5lbs in 3 weeks. Really pleased with that as you would expect.
Today wasn't great:
B- banana
L - Chicken, and lots of carrot, peppers, toms and cucumber
Snack - Cheese (HexA), Ryvita (HexB) and Pickle (1 syn)
I took the boys to the cinema as soon as I got home and had a packet of smarties (9 syns) and then took them for the rare treat of a happy meal. I had (24.5 syns) a burger because I was starving. On the positive side I gave my fries to the boys which they appreciated. I need to plan better for days like this when I lurch from meeting to meeting and then go straight out again.
HelenDaveKids - keep meaning to say I love your avatar. Makes me smile and think of happy purring every time I see it.

weigh in tonight - another 3.5 lbs off
12.5 lbs in total giving me my 1.5 stone award and slimmer of the week
happy bunny:j0 -
That's week six weigh in completed, 2.5 lb to give a running total of 33lb in 6 weeks.
Been a funny week, didn't feel I was drinking enough liquids or eating enough salad and fruit, but happy I'm still moving in the right direction.
Still walked 19 miles though (I'm doing a charity event in March and planning 40 miles over 2 days).
I'm also more motivated than I've been in ages, getting loads of wee jobs done around the house.
So it's all coming together nicely.0 -

Well done everyone - losers for being just that, STSs for keeping things going, gainers for acknowledging it and being prepared to start again and newbies for having the guts to take the initiative.
