If we are going to the cinema I sometimes make SW sweets using sugar free jelly, gelatine and yogurt

2 sachets of sugar free jelly (3 syns)
    2 sachets of gelatine (free)
Muller light yogurt of one of your choice

Put 0.5 pint boiling water in a jug, add both sachets of sugar free jelly and gelatine in the jug, mix together.

Put two thirds of this into a small container lined with cling film. Put in the fridge to set, it doesn't take long. Mix the yogurt into the third of the jelly mixture and stir together. When the jelly has set put the yogurt mixture on top and put back into the fridge until top layer has set.

    Cut into cubes and enjoy

someone in our class mentioned Morrisons are now doing SF Cola Jelly & she does this ^^ with the cola jelly, supposed to be like cola cubes x

Well I havent been on in ages, just not had any time, big shop on Friday & those of you that 'know me' it was my planner week/cookathon weekend so I now have the next 4 weeks meals planned, all batch cooking that can be done is done (I do cook some stuff fresh, but am luck to have a chest freezer)!

I STS last Monday, no brainer really as the wedding "reception" was actually an all day one & I had used up all my syns so an all day wedding on a Sunday & Monday evening WI don't go well together. I had breakfast next morning at Premier Inn...Weetabix & Milk, yoghurt & fruit while DH tucked into a full fry up :A

I am hoping for at least 1/2 lb tonight to get me to my half stone award but was out for valentines dinner on Friday & poor weather has meant I have not been able to go out walking, hubby is nights this week so I will have to pull out the epilleptical cross trainer thingy (I HATE IT!) but 20 minutes burns around 250 calories.

    EE Menu Today :-

    B - Melon & Strawberries, kiwi
L - Lettuce, cucumber, peppers, beetroot, Salad dressing (0.5) chicken with mayo (0.5)
Dinner - HM Lasagne, (HEA of cheese) + 4.5 syns, salad, strawberries, 2 yellow plums
HEB - 2 alpen lights later on tonight
    Drinks so far - 2 x coffees (1 syn) & green tea & water

Have a good day everyone, will try get on more this week as I won't be meal planning :D.

    Hi all

Not a fab day (and so early in the diet too).. Had a really flat day and been off work. We had a McDs which I tried to keep as low fat/carbs as possible, but it's still McDs...

We've been sorting bits in the garden that was a good little bit of exercise and I've asked Mr Shortie if we can pull the Wii back down from my youngest's room so that we can have a go on the Wii boxing / Just Dance / Zumba to just try and get into a routine of being active in the evenings too

I'm hanging on payday so we can do a 'proper' diet-friendly shop

So, to try and kick myself up the bum, here's my plan for tomorrow:

B: 35g porridge (HEXB), fat free nat yog, blackberries (left to thicken overnight
L: Singapore pork with noodles (1 syn)
    Sn: Apple
D: ? Bolognaise? Made before the diet but the only thing added might have been a bit of oil (4 syns? Would rather over estimate)
Sn: Fruit with fat free Greek yoghurt with a drizzle of honey (1 syn)

    HEXA - milk in tea

Just sent Mr Shortie out to get some potatoes so that we can make some SW egg and chips - I need some super comforting comfort food!

    Evening all

Enjoyed my weekend away, though because of the weather we went later than planned. This meant more control over what I had to eat. Avoided all the yummies on the buffet on Saturday night and just had a chicken leg (without skin!) Though did have around 7 vodkas and diet coke  But in mitigation I did dance lots and spent most of Sunday walking around.

Turned down the cooked breakfast at the B&B (had to watch hubby tuck into his though!) and just had weetabix and ss milk :A

WI today and pleased to report a loss of 1.5lb. Still not made it to 13 something 1/2lb more would have got me there, tut!

SeaBee that is a great loss especially with being away. The half pound should keep you focussed this week!

Maman I am saving my syns for the weekend as I know we will probably be out for dinner. Thanks - you are right I could EE today on the basis that half of everything was superfree.

WI shortly so I went with the soup in the end with the double bonus that everybody else had some and therefore ate less pie so leftovers for boy lunches tomorrow.

I have a bad habit of not eating meals or indeed enough - quietly obsessive about my eating habits sometimes and I am teaching the boys bad habits. Trying hard to change this hence the change to SW instead of obsessive calorie counting.

Ohh Macpep i'd love to do this - do you have a link to a post of the details or could you post what you have batch cooked for the month?

I made a 4 portion cottage pie yesterday - accidently used pork mince instead of steak :o it'll be fine though, OH won't notice :rotfl:I also made meatballs and falafels at the same time and really enjoyed it.

  • First session at the gym today - even though we joined up ages ago, it's a new one and we've had to wait for induction. Bit cheesed off really - disinterested bloke shoved us on a crosstrainer for ten minutes and then cleared off and left us. Didn't take any notes about medical conditions etc., and what happens?

7 Minutes in I got cramp, had to stop, get off and then felt really faint and ended up flat on my back with my legs up a wall with everyone flapping, and made to drink Lucozade!! Not good!!

Apart from the fact that I am totally unfit, I also stupidly went straight from work having not eaten, so I imagine my blood sugar was at rock bottom.

When we go back, he wants my OH to show me how to use the rowing machine. Trainer a bit of a plonker, and frankly, I have been before and probably know my limits and what I like etc. Crosstrainers are evil - but I will start small and build up to 10 minutes!!

These gym induction stories aren't very good.. do the gym not care that the service they provide should be top notch, especially as it's a big health and safety thing! disgusting behaviours...

I'm very tired today, between OH snoring and the cat I rarely get a full night's sleep but last night was bad :( it'll take all my willpower not to stuff my face today!

    So menu - EE today
    B - porridge (heb & 2)
L - chicken salad, sweet chilli sauce (2)
T - HM meatballs, mash and carrots, gravy(1)
S - crisps (4.5) banana, milk in tea (hea)
