Good morning everyone
Shala can you put me down for 4 pounds off this week please?
That's 11.5 off so far. Am pleased with that as I stayed the same last week.
ThanksSW: Wk1 (5) Wk2 (2.5) Wk3 - Wk 4 (4) Wk 5 - (1.5) Wk 6 (1) Total off 1 stone!:j0 -
Hi jeanie and welcome. Could the gain simply be on the back of losing 10lbs the week before?
Welshkitty, re cold lunches I think Helmans fat free vinaigrette transforms pasta salad into something special. I also add chopped piquante peppers (bought in jars) to give it some zing and all the usual salad bits like cucumber, tomatoes, sweetcorn etc. I also like the Jambalaya or Hoppin John recipe's cold like a rice salad. I have a 'luxury potato salad' recipe too that involves cold cooked new potatoes, chopped boiled eggs, grapes and the sauce is made by blitzing cottage cheese until it's smooth. If you fancy that, let me know and I'll get the full recipe for you.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

hey all,
well done to the losses
just wanted to share my revelation of the week (even though its so simple!) was in tescos yday and they were offering free samples, now who doesn't love a free sample. But as I went to get a piece of the cheese on offer I did a double take and actually thought about what i was doing. The chunks on offer would have been by hexa for the day and i would have scoffed it down in 30secs flat in a supermarket rather then enjoying it as I would do for lunch or dinner etc so I turned and walked away! This was a quite a big thing for me as usually I take the samples thinking well its only small it can't really hurt xx0 -

Have had a very busy and quite stressful morning. Am going to a funeral in Scotland on Monday so have had to sort out hotel rooms for me, DH & my sister.
Don't think I'm going to be able to stick to plan from tomorrow evening until Wednesday evening when I get back but will do what I can to limit the damage.
Going to my sisters tomorrow, will travel to Scotland on Sunday; funeral on Monday and back to my sister's on Tuesday. Will stay at her house Tuesday night as well as we are already had something booked for Wednesday so will save me paying out additional fares!
Having a Green day today:
B - only had a banana as been making loads of phone calls and doing housework and it just got to about 11am before I knew it!
L - mushroom omlette, lettuce, cucumber, beetroot & cornichons
D - fish pasta bake. Will use both an HEA & HEB + 2 syns to make a proper cheese sauce and top with cheese! Can't stand the SW sauce, it always seems to split and isn't cheesy enough.
HEA1 - milk in tea throughout the day
HEA2 - milk for sauce
HEB1 - cheese for sauce
HEB2 - fish for pasta bake; 30g salmon; 50g white fish; 50g smoked haddock (1/3 HEB for each one)
Syns: sauce flour 2; fruit split 3. Not sure what else but may have a G&T or 2 - 2/4 syns
Not sure when I'll next post but probably not for a few days!

Woke up just before 4am needing to go to the ladies, tried getting back to sleep but stomach started rumbling so have been awake ever since.
I think it's a combination of the change of diet & the clocks being nearly ready to change.
joedenise... you were right about my breakfast not being enough. I had to make a chicken cupshot for elevenses. Stuck to plan the rest of the day though. Congrats on still being under target.
macpep1 & tazzyb... I managed to pick up a pack of the light triangles today in sainsbugs. They were on offer for £1. The mullerlights & alpen bars are still on offer too.
greentiger... enjoy your weekend away at the hotel.
Welcome jeaniej52.... I'm new here too!
Have been so busy this morning only just sat down for a quick brew before the school run so, so far today my menu hasn't been as good as it should be but I will do better the rest of the day.

Breakfast: banana, 1 alpen light bar (HEB)
Lunch: Grabbed in Aldi...PLEASE SAY THIS IS FREE. Can someone check for me ta. I ATE THE WHOLE 200g! on the way home from shopping. Appleby's chargrilled chicken breast slices.
Tea: Salmon, SW chips & mushy peas.
Snacks: other Alpen light bar (HEB), apples, satsumas, grapes0
