Hi all,
can anyone let me know how I get on your chart weekly???
Today has been a good day for me as I went for a 3 mile walk at 6am with the dog and also had two hours of football training so all that exercise must help. I have also walked 3 miles on Monday and Tuesday plus an hour on the cross trainer on both days as well.
My food today was as follows:
B - 2 satsumas and a banana
S - Alpen light lemon bar
L - Batchelor curry rice with a poached egg and another satsuma
D - Lamb hotpot with leeks, carrots and green beens
S - Grapes
2 x tea's to drink with milk and 3 pints of squash.0 -
Hi tich, the chart is a mini challenge... It was set a couple of weeks ago. We had to say how much we wanted to lose by Easter.
You may be able to add yourself if Shala is able to add you. Just write in big or colorful letters how much you would like to set yourself as a mini target by Easter!Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Hi tich (and anyone else who wants to join the challenge!)
Just let me know what your target is between now and Easter weekend and i'll add you to the chart..the more the merrier!
You can weigh in any day you want to but when you give me your result if you can write it in bold and a different colour then that would be really helpful..

LordDuke, I'm another online member. The support on here is fantastic.
I like to post my meal plan and a review of how it went, because I think it makes me more accountable. Things don't always work out as planned, unfortunately, especially for weak willed me.
Take today, for example. I had started spring cleaning the kitchen and that included my personal horror - the cooker. I was doing it thoroughly, even pulled it out from its space to clean the back, sides underneath, all around etc. The oven pride was doing its stuff too. All was going well until after lunchtime. By almost tea time the racks were still in the bag needing turned every so often (couldn't do it overnight, cos grandchild is here early in morning), the oven glass was soaking in the sink, but the countertops were cleared and upstands shining. All the stuff from the countertops was on the dining table. My DH, unbeknown to me, decided cooking was not an option in the bombsite I had created and went out and got a Chinese takeaway - which I forced myself to eat (with gusto).
So review of Wednesday's plan
Breakfast: hexb porridge & banana
Lunch: chicken, couscous, spring onion, radish, cucumber, & hexa feta cheese, WW yogurt
Dinner: spaghetti with smoked salmon, peas, red onion, Hartley's 10 jelly
no snacks so far NO none of that - shared boiled rice :A, lemon chicken and beef in onion & ginger sauce (I did not have any prawn crackers nor a fortune cookie :A)
Snacks: chocolate digestive (3)
I'll try again tomorrow.
Breakfast: hexb French toast & any berries/fruit left
Lunch: tuna jacket & salad, fruit & ML vanilla yogurt
Dinner: today's planned spaghetti with smoked salmon, peas, red onion, Hartley's 10 jelly
Good luck everyone.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

The only way to work out the syns is to actually break it down into ingredients and syn each individual thing, add it all up and then divide by the number of portions. A ready made one (400g) varies between 12.5 and 16.5 according to Syns Online!
WelshKitty - thanks for the recipe I've added that to my recipe folder and will give it a go once I get some cocoa powder! Also, how many pieces does it need to be cut into to make it 0.5 syns per piece?
Plan for today is Green:
B - banana - after WI
L - LO chicken breast (HEB1), LO mash, veg
D - Jacket potato, baked beans, cheese (HEB2); Hartley jelly 0.5
Snacks will be bananas, oranges & Muller yoghurt.
Will post later how I did at WI - am expecting a gain as had a rubbish week up until Tuesday so haven't managed to pull back on syns as much as I needed to! Trousers are definitely feeling tight this morning:(.
