Pleaseletmebelucky – Don’t despair – you’ve still 2 stone off so just keep going. So frustrating I know – but just consider it a week off and get back on it now. Don’t let it put you off these things happen.
The Black dog is still here but not lurking just as much – still fighting it and will keep posting J

Thanks for the good wishes Beanie. Fingers crossed for my son today. I think he's most looking forward to the sedation, and then a McDonalds!Mountaingirl wrote: »I made a chili using an Old El Paso taco spice mix and just didn't think before chucking it in - does anyone know if it has any syns in it?
Todays has started badly - white toast and butter, so I'm thinking that is all my syns gone (60g white bread 30g butter)
L: Big mixed salad and hamGot to go to the supermarket
.
The Old El Paso Taco Spice mix is 5 syns for a 35g packet, so not that bad once shared out, and even better that you used lettuce rather than wraps.
The white bread is 3 syns per 25g (although it then says 6 syns for a thick 800g loaf slice, so I'd go with that!). Butter is 3 syns per 10gSo that's looking like bang on 15 syns. No wonder I packed on the weight by having 3 slices of toast and butter, with marmalade every morning - that's 45+ syns!! What an eye opener.
My food plan for today is: EE
B - Danio yogurt (1), banana, satsuma, kiwi fruit
L - I'm not sure - I might still be at the hospital, so will take an apple and hifi bar with me
D - Beef casserole I'm going to put in the slow cooker before we go out, so that's at least taken care of dinner. Packing it out with lots of veg, and tins of new potatoes.
Nicely low synned so far.
Have a good day allOne day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Shala - I have 3lbs off so now on a net gain of 1lb. Thanks
Really cross with myself, just not focussed at all. No self control. Humph.

Thanks for that sarymaclary, butter syns are outrageous! This morning though I had no inspiration for anything else and didn't want cereals.
I think I might go out for a little run later to get back on track!Seriously money saving0 -
Good morning
Thank you all for the warm welcome back.
Just got back from Sainsbugs & am pleased to report they had everything I went in for!
So, 1st weigh in this morning & I'm 14st 7lb on the dot.
At 5,6 that puts me in size 18 clothes (although the sizes in my wardrobe are between 16 & 20, depending on what kind of day I'm having & where I shop) ... seem to get away with more in Mataland!
Have decided to stick with charity shops for now until I'm at a size 12/14 which is where I'd like to be.
So yes, trying not to let this mornings the scale news send me hiding away from the world & back under the duvet, just trying to focus on how I'll feel this time next week.
macpep1... I have pm'd you my email address. It's very kind of you to offer & I look forward to seeing what I can stock up on.
I'm hoping things like savoury rice, cupshots, pasta & sauces are on there as sometimes I need to grab in a hurry.
Re tonights spag bol, I'm going to pack it out with lentils, mushrooms, peppers, onions, passata & tomatoes & serve on wholewheat spaghetti. Hoping to get around 4 meals out of this to freeze for later.
Looking forward to picking up more ideas of batch cooking & meal ideas by reading your plans. Mash potato pizza ~yum!~
Focus, focus, focus is todays plan.
Chin's up people & best of luck those who have weigh in today x

I have sent the Aldi sheet to those who asked, I did notice the Brooklea Fat Free yoghurts are listed as being free, they are not now, so if your not sure, just ask, think the highest is the toffee at 3 or 3.5 syns.

Just lost my last post -grrr - must remember not to go back looking for something when I'm writing!
Don't usually post at this time but realised I'd forgotten to put up today's plan - must have been over excited after last night's football win!
Anyhow, Wednesday's plan
Breakfast: hexb porridge & banana
Lunch: chicken, couscous, spring onion, radish, cucumber, & hexa feta cheese, WW yogurt
Dinner: spaghetti with smoked salmon, peas, red onion, Hartley's 10 jelly
no snacks so far
Running low on fresh veg & fruit, but there's no shop in our village and I don't want to make a trip down to the local town as I'll end up buying too much. We go away on Friday for the weekend and too much fresh stuff is going to waste in our house. I have some frozen stuff and some tins, so we'll see how things go.
joedenise - hope you get sorted out and fell better soon
Mrs Christmas - I loved your comment "Chin's up people". It made me laugh, just the way I interpreted it - rather than the collective piece of advice I think it is, I read it as an instruction to take charge of my double (multiple) chins, like "shoulders back, heads up". Thanks for that happy vision of all us SW support-ites standing in a line, trying to control our chins!Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400
