My name's Mrs Christmas & I'm addicted to crisps .... & bread .... & cheese ..... & I'm partial to a drinky poos or two .... I'm spiralling out of control weight wise & have just come back from a constant eating/drinking holiday so am feeling awfully bloated & was wondering if you'd have me back & give me a push in the right direction?
I think I attempted to join in the new year but lost my way, if I'm honest I think I found it a bit complicated! But I have 4, YES 4!, weddings to go to this year so I would really appreciate your input & suggestions as to where I might be going wrong on this plan. I guess I aim for EE but probably sway towards Green days more.
Anyway, I'm just going to post & hope that eventually it'll start to sink in!
This morning I have pulled out all the old bumf & started reading this thread from the beginning & am popping out in a mo to pick up this months issue of the mag, looking for some inspiration & to get armed & prepared.
Breakfast: was grilled bacon, poached eggs & baked beans
Lunch: was a tomato & basil cupshot from Aldi
Tea: will be Ainsley harriots lental dahl with the other half of tin of baked beans added.
I know this doesn't look a lot & is lacking fruit & veg but I wasn't planning on starting today so am making do with what I've got in.
Tomorrow, I'm off to stock up on Mullers, fruit, Alpen bars /the Aldi harvest morn ones which I think are similar? & ryvita minis for my HEBs.
I do a lot of my shopping in Aldi, so low syn/free store cupboard stuff ideas that I can stock up would be great ie; cupshots, savoury rice, pasta & sauces.
Tomorrow morning will be the dreaded weigh in. I'll post all my stats & wishes then.
Haven't stepped on the scales for a couple of months but am hoping that I can have an beer free weekend, get some batch cooking done & get the ball rolling.

Welcome back Mrs Christmas.
Don't think you can get the magazine in the shops yet as it's only out this week in Group. I think it'll probably be another week or so before it hits the shops.
I think you could call this a Green day by having the bacon as your first HEB. You would then still have another HEB plus 2 HEAs to have. Fruit and veg isn't quite so vital on Green (or Red) days although it is a good idea to try to have one third as it will help to keep you feeling full without loads of calories.
Don't forget you can also have 5-15 syns a day as well and with what you've posted you haven't had any yet.
If you Google "slimming world" you can get access to the 7 day menu plans without having to register. This might help you get to grips with the plan a bit easier.
Good luck.

Thank you for that joedenise, a meal plan was just what I was after for ideas & I'm going to start one for the next few days.
The ham roll-ups look right up my street & I'm lucky enough to love pickles ~yum~
There were still a few March/April mags available in the local shop so shall give that a browse this evening and pick up some more meal ideas. I haven't brought any since Feb but good to know I won't have to wait long for the next one.
My HEAs today have all gone in my tea & coffee. I have drunk loads while trying to plan this out! & I think my cupshot from Aldi may have 1 or 2 syns in it?
Just scouring the net now to look for Aldi syns or free food.
I'm hoping the chicken cupshot is free as that is my preferred one.

2 1/2 lb off please Shala!!
Thank you for that= have got 3 wks with meals out from now til Easter so will have to plan to include, and increase superfrees etc with all the other meals in the specific weeks. Our consultant says (and the penny has FINALLY dropped) there are 2 other meals in each day, and also that the weekend will always come round!!
So in that vein, so do birthdays- Christmas and even holidays!! All that stuff can be enjoyed but dont go mad and/or include wiser choices.
In a nice, kind way i need to deal with it!!! As i saw on a car bumper sticker, a la" Keep calm" etc SHUT UP AND GET ON WITH IT.:rotfl:0 -

Welcome to the thread....I have a sheet with a lot of Aldi items on it, if you want a copy PM me your email, maybe not bang up to date but will give you an idea. There are loads of people here who will help you as well.
THe only HEB's in Aldi Cereal Bar range were the Benefit bars, I have not been able to get them in any of the 6 local stores around me. I contacted Aldi who said to call for individual stock levels.....not very helpful I am afraid as I know the stock levels, I am in the stores every week!
Good luck on your journey, you will get plenty support on here. I can only really get on through the day at work (makes me look busy) as I am busy with kids clubs etc after work.:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T

All looks good but you need to get more superfree in there. You could have some salad leaves at lunch and again a bigger salad in the evening with your spag bol - your definitely a bit in superfree. You are making me hungry though lol
Try padding out your Spag Bol with lots of mushrooms, onions and peppers as well xx0 -
