We have a rule in our house, if someone gets a swimming badge then they get to choose a meal of their choice. Dd 3 got her honours this week so insisted on kfc today, thought about sitting out but accused of being unfair as family treat, so ended up having diet coke,3 chicken strips and 3 sweet corn, also due to major shopping trip and dd1 & 2 performances, we have been out since 8, so failed to get to gym, plus quick turnaround time and back out to dd1 big concert, so late night ahead. Feeling tired already. So just had some Heinz soup, due to time factor. Anyway despite general fail managed to buy 3 size 14 tops which is definitely a result.

Think I made the best choices based on circumstances but unfortunately I will need syns for rum and diet coke as that's my Saturday night treat.

    [QUOTE=Jeanie_-_your_menu_looked_ok,_but_where_are_your_syns?_:D[/QUOTE]

shala_moo after reading MrsChristmas's post above, I'm wondering if not having many syns could be the reason I gained during my first week, instead of losing? Today is my 13th day on the plan and I've only had 6 syns the whole time. Maybe I need to treat myself a little more? :)

Hi All. Not sure if I posted 1lb loss for WI on Tuesday morning this week?

Which I was pleased about . . . back on it after the hen do.

Struggling to read back all posts, so hope everyone is ok. Exceptionally busy at work and now into the run up for the wedding - 4 weeks to go!!

Tried on a dress for the first time this week, and it was far too big! Nice feeling but not really sure what I'm going to wear: another couple of dresses on order, and easier to take them in than let out I suppose. Very pleased that I've lost a little bit before the big day. I like the dress I have tried anyway, so if that's the only choice, but made smaller (and shorter!!) it will be fine.

So much to get sorted now, but sticking with good old SW.

Maman - sometimes I guess you just have to go with the flow, I had one of them days today, was doing the family visits today with mini me, and ended up staying for dinner at my dads which I hadn't planned, it wasn't anything terribly bad and I did resist cake and ice cream, but I still feel like I was off plan :o

    EE day:

B - Bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, beans & Mushrooms
L - bread (HEA) with lettuce and chicken, smidge of butter (3) muller light, a few grapes (mini me pinched most of my portion :()
D - Roast beef, 6 oven wedges (not sure how many sins) 1 dry roast potato (again not sure), brussel sprouts and lettuce

Extras 4 tsp sugar (4) in coffees
    NAS ribena

Not sure of total syns exactly :p

    Evening everyone!

A little disappointed, but not really surprised after the jelly baby incident and the take away.

Back on plan now and sticking to it. Green again today:
    B: 2 bananas
    L: veg curry
D: jacket potaoto, tuna (hexb), cheese (hexb), squirt of v low fat mayo.

Been shopping today and bought some snacks and proper puds that are within syn allowance, so that should help me stay on track.

jeaniej52 - everything I have read encourages you to have your syns. Give it a go for a week and see what your loss is. I have been drinking more water to and bought some green tea to try after advice from this thread.

The other half has annoyed my by not bothering to get my anything for Mothers day then taking a massive man huff about it! First reaction was to get stuck in to a huge bar of chocolate but I went on the exercise bike for 25 minutes instead. I am proud of myself.

Breakfast - 2 x wholemeal toast, 2 x light laughing cow, activa 0 fat yoghurt and a banana
Lunch - mug shot, plum, apple, activa 0 fat yoghurt
Tea - omelette with onion, mushroom and courgette served with salad, cottage cheese and beetroot - followed by another 0 fat yoghurt.

    Snacks - banana, apple

Syns 1.5 extra weight on wholemeal bread, 2 tassimo creamer pod, 1 lick of light garlic philly, 4 walkers pops - Total 7.5

Hea - 2 x light laughing cow and milk in cuppas
    Heb - 2 x wholemeal bread

tazzyb Yes, I'm going to start having more syns, in fact I had plenty last night - 4 vodkas and someone came round with plates of sausage rolls and pork pies so I had a sausage roll. Haven't worked out the syns yet but I'll still be well within my week's allowance.

Well done for resisting the chocolate! My husband got me 10 bunches of daffodils and a big spray of flowers from youngest son for Mothers day. I've run out of vases so I'm hoping the older two don't arrive with more flowers but I don't want them to bring me chocolates either

Well done losers, some impressive losses this week :T:T
Big hugs to those in need :A

for Shala - wk 4 - gained .4lb knew the gain was coming but very surprised at how little. Ended up with 2 birthday meals out, cake and chocolates. Breakfast and lunch have been ok, evening meals have been a bit suspect :p so will have to reign it in to not gain again next week :o.

Struggling today, missing my Mum so much. Feeling sorry for myself too as no one has comforted me in the slightest. Son is still in his pit but I know I will get a hug later. Off to walk the dog to distract myself (or have a good cry) :p

    Happy Mother's Day all :A
