Morning
Not been a good week eating wise, been nibbling constantly. Just realised it was pmt (that's my story and I'm sticking to it, lol) Why do I always want to eat 24/7 the week before aunt Flo visits?
so needless to say I have STS Shala
I feel in control today (it's only 9.30) going to have spinach, mushrooms, egg and bacon for breakfast. I am making a big slowcooker full of soup today, just in the mood for warm filling soup.
Annie, Becks, Maman and Welshkitty! Well done for hitting your Easter target already. I really need to try harder.
I have so many reasons to lose this weight so why am I still faffing about?
I have lots of housework to do today, so better get to it but breakfast first. Have a lovely weekend with lots of yummy healthy food0 -
Morning everyone, sorry I've not posted for a day or so... I'm another one who seems to have been thrown by the horse
In part it's due to having had a lot of work on, so eating only when I've got too hungry to carry on working (I work from home), so grab something quickly, and also that I need to do a shop for fresh fruit, cooked meats, etc., basically the things I can just snack on to satisfy hunger.
Yesterday I was doing okay, until I went off to deliver a cake, and we just couldn't find the address, and it was in a place with no phone signal, so after driving up and down dale, through remote villages, past farms, and into the middle of nowhere for 2 hours, we finally found someone to ask, and managed to find the farm I needed... it didn't help that the directions I'd been given were scant, and minus any punctuation, it's easy to see how they were misinterpreted. Oh, and she said she was on the left-hand side, when in reality they were on the right! Gah! So we set off at 5.30pm, to do a 45 min journey, and we finally began to drive back at 7.45pm! OH was with me, and absolutely starving, so we stopped at McD's... I won't bore you with the restSuffice to say that made yesterday's plan a write off.
Aunt Flo is here, and by golly is she being an absolute cow. Have felt like death warmed up since Thurs., waking me up with dragging pains, currently sat with back ache. Need to go out to the shops, but would rather not have to go. Will see if I can get an online shop delivered by anyone tomorrow perhaps?
Not sure of today's plan, probably EE.
B - Activia yogurt (2), kiwi fruit
L - Bacon, egg, mushrooms, slice wm bread (HeB) mixed baked beans
D - Chicken with veggies, maybe some rice, as I need to buy spuds.
HeA - milk in tea/coffee
Snacks - fresh pineapple
Going to limit the syns (again! I know I said this the other day) because of the indulgences in the last few days. Not hopeful for WI on Monday. The body magic of floor laying this w/end has been put off for a couple or so weeks. Relieved in one way, as I don't feel up to it, but disappointed in another as I need to move more. Oh, and the aquafit was cancelled because I forgot it was Son's b/day too. Gah! Another b/day next week - jeez!
Lantanna - sorry you're under a cloud at the mo, but I hope that fab loss helps to brighten things up for you. I do find that if I allow the house to get neglected that affects my mood, and finally sorting it makes things better. I did mine yesterday, washing through all the wood floors, and I do feel happier for it. I'd be happier still if I had a cleaner mind you
Congratulations to those who have already reached their easter targets, blimey, I'll be lucky to get halfway to the new year one at this rate! One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Hi everyone,
Well I plucked up courage and went to a meeting yesterday, my weight wasn't as bad a it could have been, but I still have a long journey.
Managed to eat well yesterday but really need to do some shopping so that I can get stuck into it. Feeling better already just for taking the plunge.
Enjoy your weekends

Morning everyone! Hope you are all having a good day!
I'm attempting my 1st green day today, partly because I need to go shopping and don't have enough fruit and veg in the house to make up 1/3 of every meal.
B: Wholemeal toast, baked beans, boiled egg.
L: Not feeling at all hungry yet, so may just have yogurt & fruit. Might have jacket potato if I do get hungry though.Pasta with sauce made from passata, onions, mushrooms, peppers. Will also have sliced sausages in for everyone else. I might just have 1 or 2 of these or might avoid them completely and save all my syns for later.
Hexa 1 will be milk in drinks.
Hexbs are wholemeal bread and cheese on the pasta.
I know I can have another Hexa but don't feel I need it at the moment. Not sure what syns will be yet, but I always get peckish in the evenings.
Back to my usual Saturday WI tonight, so will update later.0 -
Maman - bubble and squeak sounds yummy! How do you make it?
Thanks!
As I'm often at home during the day I deliberately cook extra veg with our supper for lunches. The best bubble & squeak needs mash to bind it together. So, what I had yesterday was mash, carrots, cabbage, peas and fried onions but any veg works. I just stir it all together and then you can either make little patties/cakes from it or just fry it as one big cake. I fry until browned, often frying a few mushrooms or a tomato in the pan first for flavour. You can eat it on it's own but I generally have cold meat and pickles with it.
I've had scrambled eggs on toast and planning some lentil soup for lunch. Chinese defrosting for tonight.:o0 -
Hi everyone,
Hope everyone's having a good dayjust wanted to share todays success story.
Went into tescos and saw a really cute pair of pjs, didnt really need them but wanted them and Tescos dont do 14-16 which is what I currently am only 12-14 and 16-18. So I said to myself if the 12-14 fit I could buy them....and they did!!!! The t-shirt fits perfectly and the shorts I can get them on (wouldnt wish to be seen in them as its not a good look but I can get them on!) so chuffed with myself and shows that following the plans do make a difference
Thanks for letting me share my success xx0 -
wi today - .2lb loss please Shala
How hard is it to lose 4lb for flips sake. I know it's my own fault, I get to Thursday and am so tired that I eat whatever's handy. Still it's not a gain
.
Next week probably will be as it's Birthday tomorrow and there will be cake as son has bought me a small Belgian choc cake from sainsbobs and a pouch of maltesers to put on the top. Not sure if we are going for a meal if not then its a roast so that will be ok. Have bought cakes for staff room at work but stuff I don't like so won't be tempted. I'm not usually anyway but expect some people will try to tempt me as is for my birthday.
Sitting here and tickly throat has started so hope that doesn't mean sore throat on wayIts not what you do but the way that you do it, thats what get results :T
