Sweet & Sour diet Fanta Chicken (or Quorn)
Fry chicken (or quorn pieces) in frylight until cooked through
Add large chunks of onion till they start to soften
Add a can (330ml) diet fanta (or any other syn free diet fizzy orange drink, I used Tesco's own)
3tblspns passata
a veggie oxo cube
a tsp vinegar
a shake of dried chilli flakes. How much chilli depends how zingy you like your food.
Add some peppers cut chunky
Let it bubble away for around 20-30 minutes until it starts to thicken up
At the last minute add some fresh pineapple chunks (free), or tinned and count syns.
*** Don’t keep cooking it tho or you will have to syn your fresh pineapple ***
Serve with rice or cooked dried egg noodlesDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

If you like sweet and sour you will love it x0 -
Todays been a bit of an odd one for me today. I was up late due to some sleep issues with my 7mth old boy so only managed a 1 mile walk with the dog. No other exercise today apart from hitting 75 balls on the golf driving range.
My food was as follows.
B - Alpen light bar and satsuma
Snack - 2 x satsumas
L - Batchelor chinese rice
D - SW spag bol made with Quorn mince
S - grapes and two satsumas
Drinks - 2 coffees and a tea with semi skimmed milk and 4 pints of no added sugar squash.
Tomorrow will be a bad day for me as after a long walk with the dog and a golf range session I am off down the pub for a few drinks with friends. I am doing well week by week so don't mind letting myself have this one day letting my hair down.0 -
2b did you send that bucking horse to me? I have been very naughty and no excuse for it.
Friday's Plan
Breakfast: 30g hexb muesli with apple/pear and a little hexa milk check - fine
Lunch: mushroom & hexa cheese omelette, green salad, tomatoes, fresh pineapple check - fine
then (takes a deep breath)
had slice of best of both with jam while minding grandson at his house
came home and had a perkin
Dinner: steak, SW chips & whatever veg I can find, Hartley's 10 jelly (0.5) check - back on track
then had a chocolate mint biscuit
then 2 wee graze packets
then (spoken from behind a chair so you can't see my red face) a whole box of chocolates, which had been in the cupboard since September and I hadn't bothered about them, so why tonight I don't know, and I wasn't hungry and I am still wanting something else!
Saturday's plan (maybe I was comfort eating in ADVANCE of tomorrow's football match?)
breakfast: scrambled egg, smoked salmon, hexb toast
lunch: Batchelor's Pasta 'n' Sauce (broccoli & cheese), salad, mandarin
dinner: spicy pork, rice, mixed veg, Hartley's 10
Now off to hunt down that bad horse!Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -

I'm no expert on Green but that's what your menu looks like to me today and you haven't taken full advantage of your 2 HEBs and 2 HEAs allowed. IIRC you've had no syns for the days you've been posting so you can play catch up and enjoy them down the pub!
Today has been 2 SW meals for me (baked beans, HEXs and bubble & squeak) and then I've been out for a 'nouvelle cuisine' type meal tonight. So while perhaps not strictly SW but very minimal food.
I'm away for a few days from Sunday and I don't want to do a shop so will eat from the freezer. Likely to be an OK breakfast and lunch but then a Chinese or an M&S pie.
Thanks for good wishes on weightloss but it's part of a cunning plan;). I'm below target now but that's just so that I can feed my face on holiday and then come straight back to plan.0 -
The Fanta chicken sounds ver interesting - I love sweet and sour so I think I'll have to give it a try.
I weighed in at my friends house (we have a little 'health club' thing going where we weigh in and share our fitness tips) - no change on the scales.
I had an off plan day yesterday but it was compensated a bit by doing a 25 mile bicycle ride. I had to take a packed lunch with me and wasn't prepared so it was sandwiches all the way!
I ate (exactly)
2 slices WM toast with butter,
pain au raisin,
ham sandwich made with WM bread and butter, an apple, cheese sandwich,
three chocolate digestives, another apple,
Chicken, courgette and mushroom casserole with rice and broccoli
2 glasses of wine and a handful of cashew nuts.
Several coffees, all with milk.
To be honest I'm not even going to try and work out the syns and HEX on that lot. Just draw a line and get on with today, which hasn't started well as I just had a row with my son - great start to the weekend.
I need to plan my weekend food now and then go and buy it!
Hope you have a lovely time away Maman.Seriously money saving0 -

Thanks!SW: Wk1 (5) Wk2 (2.5) Wk3 - Wk 4 (4) Wk 5 - (1.5) Wk 6 (1) Total off 1 stone!:j0 -
Morning all,
Maman hope you have a lovely time away.
Mountaingirl let us know how you get on with the diet fanta chicken.
Plan for today...
B - Egg on one slice of WM toast
L - not sure yet, don't tend to eat lunch properly at the weekend
EM - SW style chicken tikka masala with boiled rice
No doubt that a few other bits will creep in here will update during the day x0
