Didn't manage to get on yesterday as was at the Ideal Home Show so although the food definitely wasn't SW friendly! but did get plenty of body magic with all the walking, LOL. To be honest I'm just writing it off!

    B - none
L - shop bought sandwich: egg mayo & tomato in white bread (really didn't enjoy the white bread much prefer wholemeal)
D - liver, onions, mash, green beans

    HEA - milk
    HEB - none
Syns - 14.5 for sandwich, 2 for olive spread in mash, Twix Mix Bag no idea but probably about 30:eek:.

Today's plan will be back on plan:

    Green Day

    B - banana - after WI
L - cheese on toast (HEA & HEB)
D - mixed bean goulash with rice

    HEA1 - milk
    HEA2 - cheese
    HEB1 - bread
HEB2 - May use the cheese here and just have one HEA but will see how I feel this evening, perhaps some Ryvitas if peckish.

Must get off now and get ready to go to WI.

Back later with how I did.

    Denise

    Syns: No idea yet

    Morning everyone,

Just lurking about :(- being followed about by the black dog big time this week - no chasing it away. Doesn't help that I am having my second period this month either.:( Have that awful anxious feeling in my stomach - terrible! Any fellow depression / anxiety sufferers will no how it is.

Forced myself to go to the gym last night - thinking it would help but only whilst I was in it. I had beans and my he cheese for my tea last night after the gym - that was it - I am getting worse but I just couldn't bring myself to be bothered making anything!

Wi tonight - not really interested in what it says - but I'm sure it will be shocking after what I threw into me over the weekend.

Just peeved off at the minute - with nothing in particular just that ruddy black dog following me about and I can't bring myself to clean and tidy the house which I so need to do.

Having oats and yogurt for Breakfast & salad for lunch. Dinner who knows................

Not sure what the tummy discussion was about - but you want to see the state of mine!! Its got more lines on it that a Map of England. I'm going to be left with a serious overhang / flap of skin as well. Depressing.................I bought Bio Oil and keep meaning to slap it on but keep forgetting !! If I'd known then what I knew now I would have looked after myself and my body from a young age - Hindsight is a wonderful thing isn't it.

Well done to all the losers - and for anyone struggling - tomorrow is a new day................

Self indulgent post coming up sorry in advance

I'm now far more body conscious than I was when I was 4 stone heavier?! Before I didn't care about what my body looked like I was fat I looked like a potato I accepted that and never thought oooh that bit looks horrid. Today I was stood leaning over while on the phone and I thought urgh my bellys all jiggly :/ now I'm horrified by how gross and wobbly and horrid my belly looks! Like all I've done since then is poke at my stomach and thought urgh :/ I never ever thought that before I lost weight? Maybe I just made peace with being fat and solid and now it's skin n less fat its different :/
Pah I don't bloody know thought being thinner would be easier but all it's made me do is feel repulsed :/

Here Endeth the rant sorry :/ I just needed to get it off my chest sorry

Just saw this and I know exactly how you feel! I think when you lose weight overall - it can be easier to concentrate on the bad bits - whereas when we were bigger all over we didn't care and didn't look at it.

When I was 21 I lost a lot of weight (though was nowhere near the size I was last year lol). I couldn't hack it at all the attention I got from men freaked me out and all I saw where the bad bits!!! and I honestly felt worse about myself that what I did when I was bigger!!

I'm in dire form at the minute anyway but yeah I know how you feel chum xx Chin up xx

    Hi Mildredd

You are not alone!! I have a big, fat, wobbly stomach that I hate the sight of and saddle bags that I could pack for a 2 week holiday!

I don't think I know one person who likes all of their body - not even skinny minnies like my 2 sisters!

I tame my belly every day by wrangling it into a pair of apple catchers and hide it by wearing dresses that flow over it but are fitted around the better shaped top half of my body.

I think the key is to manage it the best you can, hence my camouflage!!

Been to the gym and managed another 10 minute run, so pleased with myself as was couldn't do a whole minute a few weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, it's more of a slow jog but got to start somewhere.

As is my personality, I am slightly obsessed now, my main focus being my fitness pal success stories and any related tv, such as fat families second helpings. Can't get enough and make a me feel so determined. I also have a photo of a few years ago with the girls and I am so slim, I need to return to that me.

I have stretch marks anyway and last time I lost weight, I did get a bit of loose skin, it does concern me but there is no way that's going to stop me losing weight, will deal with that when i need to. Guess I'm very lucky as happily married and so he's seen all the saggy bits and still loves me.
It's a hard journey but we will all get there, one bit at a time.

I agree about camouflage, big pants!

My day today went like this.

5.30am - 4 mile walk with the dog
7.30am - Banana and satsuma for breakfast
12noon - Omelette with 3 eggs and ham
2pm - lemon light Alpen bar
2.30pm - 1 mile walk with the dog
5pm - grilled cod fillet with petis pois, corn on the cob boiled and mushrooms done with 1 cal spray.
    6pm - 2hrs of football training.
    9pm - satsuma
I also had about 5 pints of no added sugar orange squash.

    How does that sound?

Thanks for posting your menu tich. I suspect that if today's is a typical day then some of your weightloss is down to cutting out the junk and increasing your exercise rather than SW per se. That's fine if you can keep it up. You may not be a breakfast person so just a bit of fruit for breakfast is fine if that's all you fancy. Looking at your menu from an EE perspective you've had roughly the equivalent of two meals and even then you're a bit low on superfrees. So averaged across the day, one meal could have been an omelette and fruit and then in your evening meal the SFs would have been mushrooms and the Satsuma later. Corn and peas are free but not SF. To tweak it and make it properly EE you'd need something else with your fruit at breakfast like an egg or baked beans or something substantial. Then at lunchtime perhaps salad or pickles with your omelette and then with your supper more veg that's SF like broccoli or green beans. Then I notice that you've no syns at all in the day. You may be saving them up for the weekend like many of us do but you really need to have them.

I don't mean to nag but if you're to sustain SW as a healthy eating plan long term then you might need to eat more and eat more closely to plan.:)

On the tummy/excess flab discussion, I don't think we're ever satisfied. I've always prided myself on an almost flat tum and I only need to get a bit bloated and I'm constantly looking in the mirror.

I've just got back from WI. I went for a quick 'weigh and go' to a new group my consultant's doing, gloriously empty and quick! I'm delighted to report

    3lbs loss please Shala.

That's over two weeks and considering all my off plan meals and booze for my birthday, I'm surprised and delighted! I'm so pleased I got straight back on plan afterwards. That takes me to a pound below my target range which sets me up perfectly for my short break in Dublin starting Sunday.

    Today's plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, fried egg
L: not feeling very hungry so probably banana
D: sausage, mash, onions, carrots, cabbage, peas
Syns: gravy, squirt of HP sauce

I'm off out to a meeting shortly and may have a biscuit/cake with tea if offered. It's good to know I've got the leeway.:D

Afternoon all, hope all is well with everyone today :)

    Plan for today...

B - 2 weetabix, banana (you may have noticed this is pretty much standard for me!)
S - 1 pack of walkers pops (must choose better snack next time)
L - Cheese and ham pasta and sauce, FF yoghurt
EM - Maggie mexican chicken with SW chips

HEs are a use it or lose it, you shouldn't really carry them over to next day.

Oh, I didn't know this so I will make sure I drink all my milk up before the end of the day in future.

Do you have to eat all your syns for the day too or can you 'save' those up? I thought I had seen people posting about saving up for the weekend or for a big night out. At the moment I only seem to have about 5 a day (if I start eating sweet stuff I can't stop so I'm trying to cut it out altogether - damn it's hard!) so I hoped that might compensate if I go over at the weekend with a bit of wine.

Hope you are all having a lovely day
