Just spent an hour trying to catch up with you all.....well done for all your losses.

Shala 1lb loss for me this week.

Was hoping for a bit more, has mushy pea curry this week and I loved it. Had it on a bed of white cabbage with a few sw chips.

Going to try and cut down on the carbs this week, the sw chips and pasta.

    good luck everyone.

Hello everyone and waves to newbies.
I meant to take notes as I read, but I didn't, so I won't make any comments this time.

    Review of Wednesday's Plan
Breakfast: ML toffee yogurt & banana
Lunch: out with friend - it was a joint birthday celebration that went over the score! fizzy water, chicken & veg soup (prob used fat for vegs) and a wee bit of bread, pork cacciatore with plenty of olive oil and 1 (wee) bit of garlic bread, plus sticky toffee pudding with a dollop of ice cream (laughed as menu called it dolcette scozzese!), tea (
Does anyone know of somewhere I can get a zip and lock fitted to my mouth?
Dinner: pasta carbonara (need to find more quark, salad stuff - used it up with Tuesday night's fruit tart! Well needless to say I was stuffed pretty much, so I binned that idea and had 1 wee slice of wholemeal bread ( half hexb) with 1 laughing cow light triangle (part hexa), followed by mango pineapple & passion fruit with quark/fat free natural fromage frais mix
Snacks: none yet lol, maybe hexb Alpen Light bar & mini baby bel light

    Syns: too hard to count!
The worrying (fab) thing is I'm going to the same place on Sunday with my family!

    Thursday's plan
Breakfast: bacon & egg, beans, tomato, mushrooms
Lunch: cold meat, HM coleslaw, hexb bread, fresh pineapple (need to use it up before it goes bad) & kiwi
Dinner: salmon, mash or baby pots, broccoli, beetroot; grapes

BTW is it very cheeky of me to have my hexa and hexb after such an indulgent lunch?

    Night all.

That's brilliant tich. I know others will be green with envy at your rapid weightloss but you're very welcome all the same.:)

I don't eat yogurt because I don't like it and I don't have much fruit mainly due to laziness (I need someone to peel it for me:D) but I manage to eat fine. It'll be good to know what sort of menu you plan for yourself. Are you having all your syns? I'm asking because it's possible to lose to start with by just eating less and maybe that's what you're fed up with. Give us an idea of the sort of foods you like and what you're missing from previously. Most recipes can be adapted to be SW friendly.

    Thanks for the welcome Maman.

I used to eat a lot of chocolate and biscuits and by a lot I could easily eat a whole packet of biscuits and a couple of bags of Revels in an evening while watching television. I also drank a can of Pepsi most days and only exercised by playing football on a Saturday.

The thing I find really good with SW is that the portions don't have to be tiny as this has always got me down with any other diet. If I can possibly get down to 15 stone I will be over the moon as this was the weight I was married at 14yrs ago and also the weight that I was at when I left the army and was very fit.

My day today went like this.

5.30am - 4 mile walk with the dog
7.30am - Banana and satsuma for breakfast
12noon - Omelette with 3 eggs and ham
2pm - lemon light Alpen bar
2.30pm - 1 mile walk with the dog
5pm - grilled cod fillet with petis pois, corn on the cob boiled and mushrooms done with 1 cal spray.
    6pm - 2hrs of football training.
    9pm - satsuma
I also had about 5 pints of no added sugar orange squash.

How does that sound? I would normally have a Muller Light yogurt as well after my dinner but didn't want to much before football training. I also normally just take the dog out once in the morning but for 5 miles and do 15 minute miles while walking.

My motivation to lose weight is to still be alive when my son is older, he is only 7 months now and I did weigh 19 stone 4lb so was a bit worried.

    Hi tich,

Well done for losing so much weight in such a short space of time. It's obviously working for you! Just a couple of things on your menu though.

You have only had 1 Alpenlight bar. A HEB is 2 bars which you need for fibre to keep everything 'regular'.

You haven't had an A choice (milk or cheese). You could have added cheese to your omelette. Studies have shown that weight loss is increased when you have a bit of calcium in your diet.

You don't seem to have any carbs apart from the one cereal bar. I'd imagine a few potatoes with your tea would have given you a bit more energy for football.

Plmbl, you can have 1 or 2 alpen light bars as a heb - 1 is regarded as a superspeed heb iirc.

    Must be doing something right
Can you add my loss please shala moo

Thanks for the input, I did forget to put that I had two mugs of tea in the day with milk.

I do have potatoes quite often and just didn't fancy any today. Thanks for the advice on the two cereal bars.
