I didn't keep my syns as low as I hoped yesterday but did only have 8.5 so not too bad.
I need to tot up how many I had over the weekend to work out how many I have left for today until Wednesday!
Having another EE day today as have some LOs to use up:
B - Magic porridge with banana
L - HM fishpie, has peas & chopped green beans in it
D - LO roast pork, boiled potatoes, salad. Will probably have some pickled beetroot, onions, cornichons (baby gherkins) to up the SF. Will make some jelly for pud and have with some banana, mandarin & melon.
HEA will be milk throughout the day in tea
HEB will be porridge
Syns - 0.5 for jelly. Probably a small fruit ice lolly 1 (no fruit splits left until I go shopping, LOL). Not sure what else I'll have but perhaps a pink n white

You are a star shala, thank you for keeping the chart up to date.
I have a loss of 1lb for week 3
I'm happy with that considering I had a meal out midweek and yesterday was at a meeting with homemade cakes and biscuits, and I know I haven't had enough liquid this week which makes a big difference to my weight loss.
I have a friend who was already on her weight loss journey when I started - she had already lost a lot of weight and when I started she was slightly lighter than me, but just by a couple of lbs. She now is heavier than I was when I started (by a couple of lbs), and is geetng back on track. I feel so vexed for her, but I am determined that its not going to be me - I am now 3lbs short of 2 stone lighter than she is currently, and its really helping me strengthen my resolved.
The thing is though she has been doing a very restrictive eating programme, limiting her food choices. I think sw is great - it allows me to eat exactly the kind of things I had before, including the junk, but in a balanced way - and it doesn't involve counting every calorie. If I was trying to follow her plan, I am sure I'd be no further forward by now. She isn't interested in sw though, as she knows someone else that recommended this other way of eating to her, and it worked for them. Oh well!0 -
Morning all. First things first, Shala I have a total loss of 5.5lbs, 2lb week one and 3.5lb week 2, I maybe haven't posted it so can you update the s/s for me please thank you :j
Well this weekend has been an absolute riot!! Second shift at new job on Sat and my ex's whole family came in about an hour into my shift. I had an anxiety attack, nearly threw up in the middle of the place and immediately made a sharp exit. My employers weren't very supportive to start off with, and told me I would just have to deal with so I quit the job.
Yesterday I decided to have a cheat meal of 3 Krispy Kremes and 4 packets of crisps as breakfast!!!:eek::eek:
However, after all that I was straight back on plan and determined not to let this set me back. On the plus side (and there's always a plus side) my friends and family have been amazingly supportive and rallied round. Was very worried about what new guy would think of the whole thing but he was also brilliant about it, made me feel heaps better. If I'm honest, seeing my ex on Friday and then his family on Sat has set my anxiety off but I can't let it get the better of me so focusing on the plan as much as poss this week and hopefully that will help.
Today is green
B: Weetabix milk banana (HEXA and
L: Chilli cheese dogsJacket potato beans and salad
No idea of the syns as yet. Have a great day folks xxxx0 -
Reporting a loss of a measly - 1/4lb for week 3 please Shala-Moo
Obviously "mixing things up" last week didn't have much of an affect. Trying to stay positive and not go off the rails like I did 2 weeks ago. Holding on to the fact that I bought a pair of size 14 jeans and got into my ladies riding gear this weekend. :T
Visiting my daughter and going on a hen night this weekend. Have volunteered to drive so that will stop any alcohol syns, though we are having a meal so will save my syns this week and try to limit any damage.
Have a good week
You're obviously losing some inches and/or toning up Seabee so that's a positive. If you have time, why don't you post some menus. Maybe some syns are creeping in that you're unaware of?
trow, SW is the one and only 'diet' I've ever done and I know I'd never have stuck it out if anything was completely banned or I had to be constantly counting. I see SW as giving me a structure to help organise a healthy eating plan. I think the fact you've overtaken your friend says it all.
I've got a busy week coming up but am determined to stick with plan until WI on Thursday. I'm out for a meal on Friday (off plan but a bit nouvelle cuisine so small portions). Then Sunday we're away for 4 days holiday. I know I'll gain next week so the lower I go into it the better!;)
Today's EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, 2 boiled eggs, HEB toast, HEA milk
L: lentil and vegetable soup or LO veg and hamham, cauli & broccoli cheese, wedges

I had my gall bladder removed last year - I had just one golf ball sized stone. I really expected everything would be wonderful afterwards. I had to have the large scar as Dr couldn't get the stone using laproscope so recovery was a bit slower. Now if I eat certain oils or fats I need to find a bathroom pretty quick :P I still get some pain and the consultant says that is to do with the constant dripping of bile but it is so worth having the op to get rid of those attacks
Thanks for this, it helps to hear other peoples experiences. I'm still thinking atm not to go ahead with the op unless I get another attack, I'm hoping I'm one of the lucky ones that can just carry on not having any attacks now as I've not changed my diet much really (up until I started on SW, which was ages after my last attack). I did read somewhere that it can sometimes be stress related that the symptoms start (though not the stones themselves) and at the time I was very stressed so maybe that was what it was for me, I'm a lot less stressed now (though not totally back to myself) so maybe this will have an effect too.
Yesterday was a wash out as we went out all day, to Oxford this time, then came home and ate rubbish
Today is better though...
B - 2 weetabix, Banana
S - Cup of soup
L - 4 ryvita with LC cheese triangles and chives, cherry toms, FF yoghurt and a pack of walkers pops
EM - Gammon, Egg and pineapple with SW chips0 -

I didn't get on all weekend, had our overnight stay on Friday & was shattered on Saturday as we went out after our tribute night to a Disco until 3.30 . I made the best choices I could food wise, small dollop of pate & 2 oatcakes to start with onion relish & side salad. Vegetable bake with a large salad (Dressing on the side don't know what it was but touched it with my finger to taste it & I could feel the oil) luckily there was balsamic on the table, no pudding, hubby ate it. I did consume lots of wine though.
Yesterday was a Success Express day & only 1 syn used for milk in tea & coffee so I am hoping I don't have a gain tonight.:TGratitude is the best Attitude :T
