Thank you for your honesty Frogga, you were really brave to post and ultimately that must mean that you are ready to get back on track.
You have done it 5 times so you know what you are doing. I don't mean to teach you how to suck eggs, but sometimes it's hard to see the wood for the trees. Therefore I hope you don't mind but I thought I'd offer some ideas to try to get back on it.
1) Take it one meal at a time. There are 21 meals across a week, make yourself a tick sheet and see how many ticks you can achieve (a tick equals an on-plan meal).
2) On the back of the tick sheet write all your syns down. Hide it somewhere that only you can find it and be honest.
3) Try to make new recipes.
4) Vary your fruit, veg and Healthy Extras.
5) Try the superspeed challenge.
6) Have half of your plate as superfree rather than the recommended third.
7) Have things like jelly made up in the fridge and snack a jacks in the cupboard incase the sweet craving hits.
8) Keep yourself full. Have homemade soup in the fridge and have a mug full whenever you feel peckish.
9) Keep posting on here XxDebts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j

oh frogga, you need our hugs. if you've been reading this thread, you'll know I threw the toys out of the pram the other day. Lots of people on here have sent encouraging thoughts to help me to get over it. What I will say is, if are coming on here and posting then you are definitely making a statement of intent to do something. I don't have a treat box as I'd scoff the lot in the blink of an eye. That doesn't mean there is nothing treat like in the house. I don't particularly like choc digestive biscs, but just one (the cheapest I can find) does the trick if I'm desperate. I have other proper choc biscs for OH and visitors, but I only buy the ones I cannot abide! My other trick, when I have a need for something sweet is to drink a can of diet coke or irn bru. Frogga, remember you've proved you can do it, so pull yourself up, blow out those froggy cheeks and remember frogs don't eat anything sweet at all!
Thanks to everyone who sent positive vibes - they mean a lot.
Still hadn't done any shopping so today I've had
Breakfast: hexb fruit 'n' fibre with a little hexa milk, banana
Lunch: trumpy soup again (finally finished - really tasty), mandarin
Dinner: BBQ chicken at last (5 syns), rice, peas, banana
Snacks: Graze lemon & poppyseed cake (4), Werthers (1)
Total: 10 syns
I'll probably have a couple of hexb mini babybel light and berries for supper
Tuesday's Plan (family night)
Breakfast: poached eggs & beans on toast
Lunch: prawn jacket, green salad, fruit
Dinner: mince, tatties, carrots, tropical tart (4) & ff nat yogurt/fromage frais (if I can find this)
WI tomorrow morning, not expecting anything off. This week I'm out for lunch on Wednesday and it's my birthday on Friday, but I will try to limit damage for next week.
Good luck all - sorry I've not replied to many posts.Sewing 88/COLOR]Woollies 19Card s 91Reading 37/400 -
frogga we are all here due to over eating. I am guilty of being a binger. Doing SW is teaching me a lot about my relationship with food. Have a bit of rubbish day and the first thing I think is binge - chocolate, biscuits and crisps.
At the moment I am making sure I have no temptation in the house. Since starting I have noticed supermarkets seem to push all the unhealthy food at you, its everywhere! Special offers, the end of aisles, makes it very hard to resist.
As everyone else has said look forward not backwards. What is done is done. Nothing can change it. You have lost the weight before you can do it again.
Breakfast - 2 x scan bran, 1 light laughing cow triangle, melon.
Lunch - egg and tomato sandwhich on wholemeal bread, with a light laughing cow triangle, cucumber and an apple plus a slice of kiwi.
Tea - beef rendang, with sweet pot, red lentils, cauli, peppers, carrot, onion, mushrooms. White rice - Was horrible! Used a paste and coconut milk as had it in the cupboard and thought I would just use the syns. Worked out 5 syns per portion and I left over half. Hubby liked it so that is him sorted for dinners for a while. Had an apple and a banana instead of finishing it.
Drinks - lots of water, pepsi max, coffee.
Syns 2.5 on the horrible curry, 2 scan bran, 2 tassimo creamer pod. 6.5 used full at the moment so not sure if I will use more or not. Fancy some chocolate but at the moment its greed.
HexA - skimmed milk in cuppas and light laughing cow triangles. HexB - 2 slices of wholemeal bread.
Now Scan Bran - so last night I liked it, this morning oh my! Had to force it down and felt bloated for hours and really really thirsty.
I have 8 packs of the stuff to lol.
I did mix one in to a mug shot for hubby and he said it was okay. Has anyone made any of the scan bran cakes? If so what are they like?0 -

Evening all,
Congrats to those who have lost.
Thanks to Shala for the chart, and keeping track of us all.
Mildredd, I hope the gall bladder calms down, and whatever is causing your stress goes away very soon.
Stress is a beggar of a thing, and I know that it is a trigger for me to over-eat. It's also caused me to have trigeminal neuralgia, which when it flares up is really debilitating. I work really hard at trying to not get too stressed, or to deal with stressful things in a way that won't cause them to trigger a painful attack. Easier said than done, but finding ways to 'zone out' has helped. Reading was one of the things that worked, and I find it a good distraction to stop me eating.
Frogga my lovely, you're still with us, and posting. That's the first step. The next is to love yourself, and stop eating !!!! you do not need. If you don't love yourself, how can we expect anyone else to? Mr Frogga may well need a bit of reassurance too, and who says you need to get all the lumps and bumps out in one go for a bit of froggy fun times? It is a proven scientific fact (this one really is) that if you have some jiggy-jiggy it helps lift your mood, and make you feel better about yourself too. It's also calorie-burning, so make it your fitness regime too
Draw a line, plan your meals ahead, so you don't get caught out, and come on here as often as you can, as I really do think it helps to be accountable to the group here, as well as to ourselves.
So, after all that, I'm another one who fell into a fish n chip supper on Saturday night, along with 2 Malteser bunny things. I know I did say it was going to be a flexi syn day, but I wasn't able to really plan any of the food being offered while I was out for the afternoon/evening, and didn't get home until 10pm, so too late to have waited to eat.
WI tonight, and it was +1.5lb, and after feeling so hungry all of last week, when I ate much more fruit than usual, I'm not surprised. I'm trying to get more sleep, but OH is still doing my head in waking up too early and disturbing me.
Food today: EE
B - Magic porridge, banana, kiwi fruit
L - Super rice, mixed chilli beans, carrots, sweetcorn, LO pork
snack - 2 satsumas
D - HM lasagne (3 syns for sauce), mixed salad, light salad cream (2)
HeA - milk in teas
I made a fruit jelly to have with some lf squirty cream, but couldn't eat all my lasagne, so didn't need it. Will have that for a treat tomorrow sometime.
Going to try to keep my syns low this week where possible, so that I can claw back that gain where possible.
I'm going to start going to an aquafit class this week on Weds., so a bit of exercise thrown in. May go for a walk or bike ride tomorrow, as the weather is still set to be dry and fine. Got some DIY scheduled in for this w/end as OH and I putting down a wood floor in son's new flat for him. Hope that helps too. Need to up my fluids too I think. Feeling a bit under the weather at the mo, but nothing actually developing, like a cold, but again I suspect it's just being tired. One day the clocks will stop, and time won't mean a thing
Be nice to your children, they'll choose your care home0 -
Eat the chocolate so plus 5 syns. Was greed though as did not really enjoy it. Just kept thinking eat it, eat it, eat it. Still with in my syns allowance which is something I suppose.0

Good Morning. It's a beautiful day here, and a new one so we can start with a clean sheet and a fresh start.
Frogga, I am new here so don't have any advice but I do want to say that I hope you can get yourself back on track and into a good place.
I'm planning and EE day today - can you cast your expert eyes over the plan and see if there's any problems??
B: Ham omelette (fry light), apple
L: smoked trout (free I think), salad, slice of bread from small loaf (HEB). yogurt (2 syns here as it's not VLF).vegetable stir fry, noodles (free egg ones).
Snacks: banana, apple, clementine.
HEA will probably be milk in tea and coffees, although I have just used up the last of my milk from yesterday in my morning coffee so I still have a full HEA.
I might put some meat with the stir fry if I can find some chicken in the freezer!
HAve a good daySeriously money saving0 -
WOW  Guys, Thank you thank you
New start, new day. Walked the dogs VERY quickly in the fresh 5am Suffolk air. Felt fantastic.
Had a decent breakfast. Packed a good lunch, lots of fruit. Got a decent tea planned and ready to go when I get home.
Got a plan. Got to do it. Got lots of support from all of you. No excuses. No failure.
Have a great day everyone. You saved me. Thank you from the bottom of my heart :beer:Say it once, say it loud ~ I'm an Atheist, Anti-Royalist, Socialist, Tea-Total Veggie Frog and PROUD!:D

mountaingirl, assuming your small loaf is 400g wholemeal, you can have 2 slices as a HEB. It's just one slice from an 800g (standard size) loaf.
Glad you are feeling more positive Frogga.Debts @ LBM £23,729.31. Debts @ 08/04/2016 £0 :j
