Frogga
Do not ever apologise to me!
I'm sorry I've let you down and not been as much help as I could have been. I am however here 24/7 I am just a text away.
However I think nows time for you to draw that line and stop wallowing!
Your an atheist frog!!! Easter does not exist in your world Easter is not an excuse to eat more. It's however many weeks til Easter holidays and you need to stop eating Easter eggs right now! It's not Easter ur not meant to be eating the bloody eggs yet!!!
Do you want to feel this way on your birthday or do you want to feel happier?
Only you can make that decision!
Like I said this morning I'm taking it minute by minute at the mo as I can not plan for longer than that with stuff I have going on and my stress levels having to be vented... But that's it once I vent n eat a choc bar that's it done line drawn next minute. And if I can last longer between needing a vent that's me in control and winning?
I can either eat n wallow in fat yes fat coz that's what where cramming down our throats and putting on or we can stop this refocus and skip merrily through the Daisy's the choice is yours.
I admire you dearly frog I truly do but I hope you pull it back as miserable froggy isn't the frog you deserve to be xxxStarted sw 02/09/13 - total loss so far -5st 1lb

Macpep or anyone else that can answer...Please can you tell me what on earth is Dyno Rod soup!? I'm guessing what special magic after effect it is supposed to have! :rotfl:I love wandering around Oxford, must have been lovely on such a sunny day.:)
I'm not sure if your menu is meant to be EE or Green? If EE it's a little bit low on SFs IMO. Pineapple would need to be synned or fresh on EE but tinned pineapple can be a HEB on Green (but that would give you 3 HEBs with Ryvita and Gammon). Is your Soup HM with SFs in it? Lots of cup a soups have syns. Sorry for all the questions.:o
Hi Maman questions are fine, thank you for offering to help :A I know my menu is not quite right but atm I am not following the full SW plan, just trying to cut out most of the rubbish I eat inbetween meals and also changing my food at mealtimes to SW friendly foods. If my weight loss slows or stops then I will go full on SW, then I will most probably need your help!! My pineapple this evening is of the naughty kind so I'm hoping that I won't fancy any extra goodies later on. My soup was a powdered shop bought one so I know that will have syns too. I am trying to keep a close eye on the things I know will have syns and limit them. We have decided to have some button mushrooms with our EM so a few more SF's thereOnce again thank you for offering your help, it is very much appreciated :A
It was our first time in Oxford and it was lovely but we didn't spend much time in the city centre, mainly due to the extortionate parking fees! We had also spent a couple of hours at Bicester Village, I only spent a bit on some perfume which I thought was very well behaved :rotfl: Afterwards we found a lovely pub and sat outside in the late afternoon sun and had a couple of diet cokes
Frogga - I agree with others on here, tomorrow is another day and it can be day 1 of your new diet. I also feel that you would benefit from having those hugs with Mr Frog, it would make you feel much more valued and special; he saw you when you were 21st and he loved you then, I'm sure that has not changed, he might even feel a little left out and might need a hug or two himself! With regards to the eggs, can you ask another member of staff to keep those in their classroom for you, I feel that if you are on your own in your office after a particularly stressful day the temptation might be too great (it would be for me!). Hope you can jump back on the wagon soon0 -
Frogga - it takes a different amount of willpower for each of us to stay on this way of living.. I lack much willpower too!
BUT you have come back here, so you must want to change so you now need to make the choice to change, because at the end of the day that's what it is - your choice.
Do you choose to eat healthily and happily or do you choose chocolate and the guilt it makes you feel?
I agree with Lucky-legs about the hugs, you need to feel special and nice and with that comes a positive attitude that helps stay on the straight and narrow.
If not hugs, have you got some clothes that you wear that make you feel nice, or can you chuck some make up on - I'm sure it's a scientific fact that you always feel better and eat healthier if you feel good about yourself*

I also had my gall bladder removed about 20 years ago and have not had any problems since. I started getting pain in the January and it gradually got worse over time and had my op in the May. Some days the pain was so bad it felt like being in labour and one of my gall stones got stuck in the bile duct and I had jaundice which wasn't pleasant.
I was lucky enough to be able to have key hole surgery so the recovery time was much less and I have 4 small scars which you can hardly see.

Thank you for all the gallbladder comments - seems once u mention a condition I thought not many people had every one knows someone who has it
I've narrowed my trigger down to stress - which unfortunately isn't great timing as I'm stressed over something at the moment which is culminating tomorrow for the mean time anyway. So stressed - gall bladder grumbles get more intense and then either grumble away for hours or a full blown attack - grumbles = lots of paracetamol and limited movement = me stuck In the house with treat cupboard temptations. Attack = strong painkillers - that knock me sideways and knock my appetite so I then get lethargic and end up eating choc . So both scenarios end up in me in the treat cupboard and one ends with me back logged :@
Stress I'm over eating choc with but it's helping so I can live with it
Gallbladder - consultant appointment is arranged and hopefully he'll recommend surgery? I can't live with the attacks - I'd rather have low fat diet then this hanging over me as it does effect my daily life and choices etc
Oh we'll today's a new day - I've not binged I've had over 1/3 sf across the day and I've had a little walk and so far no painkillers
Sitting on 7 syns and I think I may have a brew and then head to bed

Frogga - I have started and stopped SW loads of times over the past 21 years. I try not to dwell on what has happened in the past and just concentrate on now. I got to target years ago and got down to 9 stone but didn't manage to stay at target very long and put all my weight back on but I don't think it matters how many times in the past you have yo-yoed you have to concentrate on now and if you can manage one good day then that is something to congratulate yourself with and try and have another good day.
It is so difficult when you have issues with food as you still have to eat to stay alive, where as with other addictions you can go cold turkey.
What is different for me this time is that I wrote a list of foods that I enjoy when not on SW and then I have just made those meals SW friendly and then my whole family can eat the same meals without me feeling deprived.
Another thing that is different for me this time is if I have a blow out I just draw a line under it and get back on the wagon so not too much damage is done, most of us are only human after all
Sorry for waffling

I think stress is definately a factor, it can't cause the stones themselves but IMO it triggers the attacks somehow. As I mentioned earlier I had never had any bother at all before my major stress episode last year. My stress levels have now started to sort themselves out and life is getting back to being more bareable and so far no more attacks since boxing day; I hope it stays that way for me and that your stress levels can be lowered soon too and you experience less attacks till you can get your op done xxx0 -
Frogga- i REALLY admire your honesty esp including the dreaded numbers concerned. I too had hopped away from the lily pond where i was a target member (took 13 not always very committed mths to do so); and over 10 mths later put 3.5st back on out of 4.5+ off. Doh!!
BUT hop back over to the thing that worked when you (and me) did it - post here more, look at minimins, old mags etc and think why did you let it go?? I am listing mine. Feel free to call on me, i really get it!!0
