1/2lb loss for me please Shala happy with that to be fair following last weeks shenanigans LOL
  • Thank you Becks, DH is doing much better today. I am also doing better and the only 'naughty' thing I succumbed to yesterday were a few malteasers that DS2 left and that was well within my syns.

lucky-legs you have my sympathies re your DH and the bike. My DH had been riding over 10 years and even raced professionally. It was a freak accident he had with no one else involved. Scary stuff. He of course thought he was invincible and it would never happen!

How many weeks have we been doing the chart for Shala? I'm lost!

For Shala wk 2 STS bit disappointed with that as been good (mostly). Well within syns for week. Even though I don't have star weeks (mini pill) I still bloat, also tummy probs and bunged up so could account for no loss. Good thing I suppose is it's better than a gain.
Emotionally I'm having a bad weekend, spent crying mostly. I know there are people worse off than me, but grief sucks and I'm wallowing in self pity. Ignore me :o happy on my own :)

PLMBL - ermmm i'm not very good with working out dates :D you've given me two results - does that sound right? You had a 0.5 loss and then a 0.5 gain.

TIE - big hugs, allow yourself to grieve how ever you want, it doesn't matter how other people deal with it, you have to deal with it in your own way. My mom passed in 2001 and I still have times where I cry about it out of the blue xxx

I'm having an angry day today  I found an empty box of chocolates behind the armchair this morning, OH has been snaffling them in secret. I think it's the sneakiness that has annoyed me more than him eating them, although they were a birthday present for someone. £4 down the drain when he could have eaten the cheap chocolate or the other open box of chocs from my birthday out the cupboard!

It's making me want to eat bad things although I've only had two chocolates so far..

    Red day today
Brunch - bacon, eggs, 2 bread (heb)
Tea - lamb, new potatoes(heb), carrots, gravy (2)
Snacks - chocolate (6) orange

Just realised I need a HEA so i'll go have some milk or something..

    Have a good day xxx

  • TIE, it's still early days Hun, you are more than entitled to still be in the midst of grief. I found with my dad that it was when I stopped running around doing the organising/planning the funeral and it was 'all over', that it only just started to hit me. Take care of yourself Xx

Thanks Shala, it's just in group we are on week 4 of the Easter challenge so I was getting myself a bit confused. It's easily done! Sorry to hear DH has been a bit of an eejit, you are right to be mad Xx

Sending you a big hug tie.:) My mother died in 2003 and I know that it hurts most when I'm feeling unwell myself. I suppose it's partly a feeling of being all round run down but also when you're feeling poorly it's natural to want your mum. MY DH is an absolute star and cossets me but it's not the same.

Sorry to hear your DH is anything but today shala! My DH is still making gestures towards wanting to lose weight but I'm saying nothing. I'll keep serving up SW suppers and if he eats extras in between that's his problem. He eats a bowl of (non SW) muesli every morning with fruit and FF yogurt, perhaps I could persuade him to have a change of cereal but then he just makes sandwiches or stuff on toast at lunchtime although he knows I never have two lots of HEB type things. Currently he's cutting down portions and I'm looking for evidence!;)

    My EE plan:
B: NAS Ribena, HEB toast, fried egg
    L: lentil and vegetable soup
D: beef in red wine (with carrots, celery, onions & mushrooms), cauli, broccoli, red cabbage and SW roasties.
Syns: squirt of sauce, cornflour and wine in gravy, weekend wine.

Not speaking to anyone, no review, no plan tonight. I have embarrassed myself! I had a whole fish supper and a twix among other things. I'm away to hide in a cupboard - no not a kitchen cupboard with food, although I might as well.
    I'll come back tomorrow.

    Thirded what plmbl said.

To cold and windy for a walk on the beach so ended up just going for a drive then to the metro centre. Was so tempted by a hazelnut latte in Starbucks but I resisted.

    Breakfast - banana
Lunch - slice wholemeal bread with egg mayo, turkey pieces, melon, grapes and a packet of quavers.
Tea - beef cooked in slow cooker, mash, carrots, turnip, broccoli and cauliflower. Toffee mullerlight

    Syns - mayo 3, quavers 4.5, gravy 3, tassimo creamer pod 2. - 12.5 total

Drinks 1 cuppa, NAS cordial, pepsi max and tassimo latte.

Still need to have my HexA and rest of HexB

Bought some of the scan bran I keep reading about. Not tried it yet though.
