Ohhh wait, no I'm not because I'm not a tight ****, I saw it was £6 postage before I agreed to buy it, if I didn't agree with the costs beforehand; I wouldn't have bought it, simple as. It's not some sort of trick where you can't see the costs before you buy it, they're written down clear as day.
People like some of those in here are the reason whenever I sell anything "buy it now" I load the postage cost onto the item, and state free postage, so that the !!!!!! can't complain about it.
You really don't get it do you? Nothing to do with being a tight !!!!. If you pay £6 postage, the seller shouldn't then post it at the cheapest rate possible, at a cost of just 69p. They should at least post it first class, or even special delivery if possible.
Yes, you agreed to the charges before the transaction, but then the seller never claimed to be using Royal Mail. He said 'Other Courier', so he should have used an 'Other Courier'.
Plus, your case isn't exactly extreme. 50% isn't really in the same league as £6 for a 69p stamp.0 -

Yes I do. Someone knew how much it would be to get an item they wanted from the supplier to themselves, and is now !!!!!ing about being "overcharged" for postage.Nothing to do with being a tight !!!!. If you pay £6 postage, the seller shouldn't then post it at the cheapest rate possible, at a cost of just 69p.
Why not, it's there perogative how they post it, unless it's stating you're getting a 24 next day delivery service, and it turns up a week later there's a problem, but the contract is just to get the item to it's destination, which in the OP's case, it did get there, and I'm guessing it got there within the stated 3-5 days as well? They should at least post it first class, or even special delivery if possible.
That's just your opinion.Yes, you agreed to the charges before the transaction, but then the seller never claimed to be using Royal Mail. He said 'Other Courier', so he should have used an 'Other Courier'.
Pretty irrelevant, seller might not have known exactly he was going to use before it sold, and in the end decided to use Royal Mail, not really crime of the century is it?Plus, your case isn't exactly extreme. 50% isn't really in the same league as £6 for a 69p stamp.
Again, your opinion, so where's the cut off for the "same league", I'll take a monetary or a percentile value please, your choice. And in my case I was being sarcastic, I couldn't give two !!!!s that they charged me 50% more than what the actual cost was, because I agreed to it before I bought the item.0
