Oh wow sweetbabu; best of luck! Do you think they'll induce you? It's good that this has happened so close to due date; would be mega scary if baby wasn't ready to arrive.

    Thank you snow.

I don't know - I did say that to OH. But I've been reading on Dr Google that there have been plenty of people in the same situation who have been sent home.

It's my BILs birthday tomorrow and he's super excited so it would be nice if baby did arrive then... but it's scary sitting here not knowing :o

    We're 40 minutes into a 2 hour wait, so we'll see x

Thinking of you sweetbabu! Fingers crossed it is nothing and at least you are being seen soon.

And mine still kicks my ribs! It is preferable to the head of 3 weeks ago, but now he's head down and engaged it's like he stretches out. Probably not helped by the fact he looks like he's going to be quite big and I have a small torso (I'm only 5'2), and he is clearly too big to still be in there! We keep joking that he's going to come out with a beard and a mortgage he's been in there that long.

I'm trying to keep busy. Giving the house a top up clean, going to go to Tesco and put a few things in hospital bags. Amazingly I've slept better the last 2 nights so I don't feel too bad and I'm just grateful it's not as hot as last week. I've been reading the patient information leaflets on induction. It looks like they will attempt to break my waters before going for a drip, but if I need a drip I will need to be on continuous ctg monitoring so it would mean no birthing pool. But what will be will be. OH is stressing about it more than me, but I think that's because he's feeling very responsible for looking after us and protecting me, and he knows this isn't how I wanted things to go. We've also discussed some ground rules for visitors for the first few days and agreed immediate family only.

Snow when bump did drop I definitely felt a lot more kicks in the ribs.

Thanks for the advice Sweet thats usually my take on things, but I guess I've just been a tad all over the place the past few days. Hope you get seen sooner, and don't have to wait the full 2 hours. And how exciting you could be meeting your one very soon.

Penguin fingers crossed it all goes well :)

    Ooh, good luck penguin!!!

We finally got seen at 4:30 and I've been hooked up to monitors since then. They said his heartrate was fine but he could have been moving more. They also saw lots of regular tightenings on my trace and kept asking if I were in any pain... but sadly not! Just lots of Braxton hicks!

They are happy to send us home, so we're just waiting on them writing up my notes.

Glad all was ok Sweet :)

Snow enjoy your maternity, hopefully you won't be waiting for too long!! I've often had quite a bit of movement all day and evening, but I notice when it feels like baby has had a drop further or shift around it goes a bit quieter then livens up.

    Penguin Good luck!!!!! :D xx

My bean has been very lively this evening, almost constant big rolls. Glad there are only 3 tutoring sessions left now, finish a week today and I don't have anything in my diary for tomorrow
