I actually managed to drop off in bed with OH last night.
And then one of the dogs decided to have a nighttime barking session GRRRRR
As yet, no letters or calls from midwives or hospital so I'm hoping that means my bloods are ok from AntiD Point of view
Rest of today will be admin as my new car is apparently about to be dropped off with the dealers, vacuuming a bit of the crud out of the old car and tutoring. yay Ringing insurance. NOT0 -

MW was grand. Bump still measuring small, but has grown since last time, so she's going to see what the next measurement is before looking at anther scan. Baby is finally head down, she thinks he's down into the pelvis which would explain the pelvic pain & discomfort. So all in all, all good. Next appt is at 37+3.
I know Penguin, it's getting so close for quite a few of us0 -
Yep, definitely going to be a little baby boom on here!0

Thank you all, feels a bit better getting it off my chest a bit. It was very difficult when OH got upset and said all he wanted was for his dad to see the baby, to be able to hold him; even just once
Glad the appointment went well, april. Not long now for you guys! I logged into the bounty app earlier and it said 48 days left!
The changing bag arrived this afternoon and we were very impressed with it. I would say it's much more grey than black, but other than that it's fine. Lots of space and pockets, the front bit for food is insulated and there's a pocket on the back of the bag (the bit that's against your back) for important belongings, which I thought was quite good. It's plenty big enough for me to be able to put a few things for myself in for flying as Well - or for a second baby, in my opinion.
I must be crazy, but I'm driving to Scotland on Friday and then back on Sunday. OH has warned me to keep my legs firmly crossed and not to even think about the raspberry leaf teaI did buy some earlier, but will decide later about using it.

I think ellesbelles might be before penguin and myself as she is expecting twins?
Thanks for the changing bag info sweet - i was looking at the baby mule backpack but its £70 and may be too big, but i agree something for flying and male friendly is ideal.
Glad your mothercare order came lifestarts!0 -
Sorry you're having such a rough time Sweet - what a lot of stuff to be dealing with
I'm also in the hypnobirthing/water/gas & air camp - consultant anaesthetist advised against pethidine and epidural for me, so we'll just have to see how it goes. I'm quite interested to start our antenatal classes to see what the discussions cover!
I really don't feel like we've got much ready at all compared to you lot - I don't even really have a list! We've been given lots, and I really just need to sit down adn go through it all vs a 'recommended' list or something to get my head round it. Oh, and buy some storage rather than keeping it all in overflowing boxes...!
I got a changing bag from freecycle - relatively basic, but it'll do the job until I can figure out what I might want that's different once baby arrives. Looking forward to this weekend when we're away with some friends, one of whom is the one who recommended hypnobirthing and has 2 children including an 8 month old, so I'm just going to spend the entire weekend information gathering
Oh, and relieved to hear the info about the triangular stomach - I'd noticed it in the bath recently and thought it was a bit weirdbelly button has also just popped halfway out, so clearly getting towards the 'beached whale' stage

My belly button is on it's way- hardly goes in at all any more and the skin is pulling oddly
Haven't done much except try and sort my car and a bit of tutoring today- student has asked for an extra session a week for as long as I can manage/ til exams
Oh, got text yesterday acknowledging receipt of mat allowance form. 24 working days is the limit for decisions. So that's a while, with BHs all over the place in May0
