Flutter it'll be okay. My last scan baby was 2 weeks ahead - I'm having a scan in a few days to check if it's still the same. If so, I'll probably be induced early.

I also can't have a water birth during labour because the country I live in doesn't have any hospitals that offer it.. Seriously :( When I seen the delivery room I nearly cried, it was so sterile and unwelcoming. But I don't have any other choice so I'm putting my big girl pants on! I plan on bossing out my music, taking a comfy fleece with me and basically trying to make best of bad situation.

Hubbys mum has decided not to come and see us now when the baby comes, which is a massive blow as I feel like I do need the extra help here - mainly as we don't have any family. He's really upset but hasn't mentioned, I think he feels really let down. I know she's a bit scared of flying but we were going to pay for a niece to come with her as well to help her - I hate flying so I do know how it feels.

tata.. you won't care what the room looks like.. you will be far too occupied squeezing a baby out.. if a troupe of performing seals came in you wouldn't notice.

Euro.. an extra day to start without intervention.. :) *squeezy vibes* for your uterus!

Flutter .. they cannot tell the weight of a baby from a scan.. they were nearly 3lb out with one of mine.. given he only weighed 3.5lb they almost doubled his actual weight.. he just had a big round tummy and a long femur.

Thanks ladies, I've had a cry and a wobble but feel better now, and spent a bit in Mothercare to cheer me up :rotfl:.

It wasn't helped today that in the waiting room was an ex-friend of mine, total sods law that we had appts same day same time but I really don't want to engage with her. Long story short, it was always a toxic friendship, I helped her through so many issues and never got help from her. The one time I reached out to her last yr was after my miscarriage and her only response was "Well at least you still have someone you can try again with, unlike me cos I'm single". Since then I completely cut her out of my life. She has fallen pregnant from a one night stand (so the gossip is) and decided to keep it. She has tried to get in touch with me since finding out I was pregnant too but I've ignored her. But luckily she didn't see me so I escaped without having to engage with her.

Euro - sounds horrid having to wait and be uncertain, think positive thoughts and fingers crossed you don't have long to wait.

Skint - hoping your silence means baby is on way or here x

Good luck Euro - looking forward to hearing good news from you soon.

I'm being induced on Tuesday at 38+1 - baby is fine but they are worried about my auto immune condition and possible bleeding issues. So much for 3 weeks off work before she comes - I've had 1 week but so busy trying to get everything done over the next couple of days X
