Yay for your maternity leave starting flutterby, I hope you enjoyed the pedicure
Skin & Euro, I hope things are going well!
Bump is getting much bigger the last couple of weeks, up until recently it hasn't been that obvious that I'm pregnant but it's plain to see now. Baby is kicking and moving around lots, thankfully I don't find it as uncomfortable as I'd imagined so far, although maybe that's just because he's quite small now or possibly the anterior placenta cushioning it a little bit for me.
I hope everyone else is keeping well.0 -
Grrr! I lost my post earlier!
Anyway, finally 1cm dilated! Woo! So midwife was able to have a swish, but couldn't get two fingers in to do the stretch part! Haha sounds delightful, doesn't it?! Nothing happening though.
They also said that the hospital which does the inductions had to postpone some today due to emergencies, and that could have a knock on effect on us tomorrow. So, induction could be postponed.
Come on baby! It's time for mummy and daddy cuddles already!!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
So sorry euronorris. You must be going crazy now. How soon will you know if you can go in tomorrow or not?Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120

I'm actually more positive today than I was on Monday due to the change in cervix. Have also had braxton hicks since 7am today. They are a bit painful though, so maybe they're mild contractions and this is the latent labour phase? Who knows!
I'll have a call from the hospital tomorrow between 8am and 10am. Midwife said that they also call and ask people to come in late at night when they are very behind, in order to try and catch up. So, they may catch up tonight, or they may be calling us in much later tomorrow. Who knows. Trying to stay zen now, so that the all important oxytocin is released!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
I've just had a consultant appt at 36 wks due to having high BMI and he has referred me for a growth scan in 2 wks cos he thinks baby is on the big side :O
I've only put on 13lb tho so surely baby can't be that big?! He said if scan shows it is over 10lb then I can't go to the MLU nor have water birth
Having a cry in the car cos i had my heart set on water birth, but I know I need to do whatever is right for baby and me. Fingers crossed baby is just long not podgy!* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Not happening today. Too many emergencies. Small possibility of tonight. If not, tomorrow but they are super busy so no guarantees of that either.
Sorry to hear that flutter. Try not to worry, I've heard of the growth scans being wildly inaccurate many, many times before. Fingers crossed for you still getting the birth you want xx hugs xxFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
