I have the angelcare with sensor, I have early babies and they are more prone to apnoea so for me it is a necessity.. I also have a respisense for when we are on long car journeys, I cant see them when rear facing so i need to know they are still ok.. utterly neurotic but I nearly lost my 17 y/o due to his lactose intolerance and it scared me witless.. I found him blue and revived him when he was 3 months old and my niece and sister have seizures so i need to know mine are ok.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Here's a big, bump filled, hug for you skint! I understand your frustration! Xx
I've been having quite a lot of braxton hicks, and I thought I had a true contraction last night (I almost jumped for joy!). Had the usual tightening, accompanied with pain and a feeling of pressure down low. And baby started wriggling a bit too, but then nothing more happened and I'm back to braxton hicks today.
By my estimation, based on ovulation, today is my true due date iyswim. She feels lower etc, so I'm hoping cervix is at least more favourable for the sweep on Monday. Fingers crossed xxFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
I'd never heard of a respisence, that would have been good for when my little monkey feel asleep in her bouncer, i could have napped on the couch. Will definitely purchase one of those for baby #2.
You need to be careful with the phone app cameras, I've heard stories of weirdos being able to pick up the picture, I wouldn't want anyone managing to see my baby. I don't know how they work so not sure how much scare mongering that is.0 -
Sweeti.. that mention of baby #2 is the best news I've seen all week.. it was all uncertain last time you mentioned more babies.. I truly hope you and DH heal enough to have #2

they are really good.. Squeak set it off a few times but her car seat was one of the ones which forced very poor posture.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
I've never heard of those pigpen, May have to go have a little look.
Oh got sent a £10 off Amazon prime b avid you spent more than ;£30 so we have ordered some of the bits we need like wipes, nappies, cotton wool, nappy cream etc and a couple of pram blankets to be delivered tomorrow morning.
My mamas and papas bargains came today, am very pleased with them.0 -
Hope you all had a good day yesterday.
We went to MIL's yesterday. She cooks such lovely foodnom nom nom. She also passed on a gift for us, from someone she barely sees, DH has only met once and I've never met! 3 hand knitted cardigans and a pack of baby wipes. How lovely is that?! They're gorgeous as well! She'd bumped into her a few weeks ago and mentioned the pregnancy and she immediately started knitting! What a sweetheart.

Oh that's really lovely Euro. I'm hoping my Nan is knitting us some cardis as I think they look so cute on newborn babies.0

Think pink, Mamas and Papas do a price promise that if something goes on sale within the week you get the difference back, I got a few refunds. The more I bought the more money off vouchers they'd send. I like M&Ps.
Pigpen I really hope so for the future, all I've ever wanted was to be a mummy. I know I still am but I'd love to see at least one of my children grow up. I've started counselling to work through my anxietys and the gym/swimming to bring down my BMI. We have agreed no babies until after little monkeys 1st birthday and anniversary then we have gone through all the milestones like Christmas without her. I'll not go on contraception though, would rather not mess with my hormones.0 -
That is probably a good plan Sweet.. those things would be so much harder with crazy hormones thrown in .. I'm glad you are looking to the future and tackling the right now as well.. that is a very hard step forward I'm sure.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0
