I've had really achey sore fingers for the last two days. Had anyone else had this? Had a Google which suggests carpal tunnel, hope it's eases off soon as its quite painful at times.
I talk to my little one, like today I got stuck in traffic on the way to and from work so was chatting away, people must have thought I was mad chatting to myself!!0 -
We've got a relative with a birthday just days after baby's due date too so it could well fall on that. I hope not as I'd just prefer he didn't have to share a birthday with a relative but I suppose in the grand scheme of things it doesn't matter too much.
I can't believe how strong kicks are getting now, actually felt a foot/hand underneath my hand earlier!0 -
Think- I have carpal tunnel syndrome, it tends to come on more at night and I used to wake up in the night in pain with it. It was initially in my wrists and would spread to my fingers. My physio gave me some wrist splints that I have to wear at night and they seem to work. You can buy them on ebay if you can't get to a physio.Married 1st October 2015:heartpuls

It seems to worst in the morning, although today it's been quite sore pretty much all day. Will have to see how it goes.
Starting to feel the effects of things now, feeling much more tired than I have in the last few weeks and body just aches all the time. So glad I have Friday off!!
I've not had many really defined kicks, but I do get regular movements from him so I think it's just the way he likes to lay stops means his kicks aren't outwards.0 -

I got really sore fingers towards the end. I had to run them under warm/hot water in the morning because I couldn't unbend them!

Edward was born the day before my birthday, I didn't want him on it, not because I didn't want to share but because I wanted to see my daughter on my birthday and I wouldn't have done given I'd be In hospital. My mum said I was selfish when i said I didn't want him born on it.0

How is that selfish?
I'd just prefer little one to have a day, within our family, that is just hers. If it doesn't work out that way, that's fine, but I think it's nice to have your birthday to yourself when you're little.
Think my brother was also hoping for tomorrow as he text this morning to ask how I was. Which turned out to be code for 'are you in labour yet?' as he then said he had a feeling I was. Nope.
Getting lots of messages like that now. Saw a meme earlier that I was quite tempted to post, but thought better of it. It just said 'Yes, I'm still here. No, baby is not. But, please, keep calling and texting because we all know that induces labour, right?!' LolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Well I had Ottilie on the Monday, I told my children, my mother and OH told his parents when she was about 4 hours old.. noone else was told for over a week.. so you might have sneaked a baby out and not told anyone Euro.. it happens lol Most people, including several siblings!, didn't even know I was pregnant in the first place.
This is why I make a point of not telling anyone my actual due date and tell them the month and nothing more.. that really peed OH's mother off.. I have no idea why she thought it was important when I got to my due date once only.
I wouldn't inflict my horrible birthday on anyone! 26th December.. I loathe it.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Oh they are silly. I'll obviously tell them once she's here. I'm just not telling anyone when I'm in labour. Can you imagine how annoying it would get? They'd be after hourly updates instead of daily!! I'd end up snapping at them.
When I next get asked, everyone is getting a 'Nope. I'll let you know when she's arrived, I promise. Please stop asking.' message in response. After that, I'll ignore all requests until she's here.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
OH had someone feel her bump yesterday. Was a parent at her school at the end of the day. But not even a parent of a child in her class. Just was talking to her then said suddenly "can I feel?" and did so immediately without waiting for a response!
I was horrified when she told me.
OH wasn't too bothered about it, just hoping that's not going to start a trend.Mortgage remaining: £42,260 of £77,000 (2.59% til 03/18 - 2.09% til 03/23)
