It amuses me people's reactions to the thought of sharing their birthday with my little one, his due date is very close to four family members, two of whom have already expressed that they do not want to share their birthday- they may not have a choice!!

The delivery companies around here aren't too bad, although a couple of months ago we did have a parcel from Amazon worth £100 left on the doorstep- we have no front garden and our road is often used as shortcut, how it didn't get stolen I don't know!!!
  • I prefer it when everyone has birthdays together. Easier to remember. My family are all clumped. My mum is the day before my brother, then me then my sister the day after. Nobody has a birthday around my due date sadly.

My step daughter's birthday is 2 days before my due date, she really wants baby to come on her birthday! My OH and step son's birthdays are two days apart so she wants to be more special than them :rotfl:.

I didn't sleep well last night, OH decided he would be a starfish and left me no room . I couldn't wake him or move him so I was squished on the end. I think we may need to buy a king sized bed asap!

I've also somehow pulled a muscle in my bottom :o so my walk is now a waddling limp!

35 weeks today :D. We are going to theatre tonight to see Bill Bailey, I'm worried I won't fit in the seat! But my parents are also going and have an aisle seat so I can swap with them if needs be.

  • I've calmed down now... Mothercare are replacing mattress and investigating yodel for both throwing a parcel over the fence and to find out where the other parcel is.

While laying in bed this morning watching DH open his birthday gifts, baby moved to a really awkward position and my tummy was wonky :D still can't really feel it but that's the first time I've consciously known its position :)

There isn't a a month in the year without birthdays or anniversaries for me. I have quite a large family, and DH does too (with step parents and siblings etc). The summer months are the busiest.

I've checked my birthday book and tomorrow is my brother (who text me this morning in the hope I was in labour - nope lol), my (deceased) grandma's birthday would've been 24th (which my mum would love, but I wouldn't as my grandma was.....pretty awful to everyone), my neice is 26th and my SIL (her mum) is 27th.

Straight into early July, we have another neice on 7th, and my Dad on 9th (though I sincerely hope she's arrived before then!).

It's weird when your bump goes wonky, isn't it pyscho? Mine does it often. She loves sticking her bum out! Haha

My birthday is 5 days after my due date - I'd rather she doesn't come that day as I'd like to not spend my birthday in labour!

  • It's not that I'm bothered about sharing my birthday with the baby, it's more like tata says I don't want to be in pain in my birthday! Wow euro that's a lot of June birthdays, so far we only have me and my cousin both on the 24th.

Same pains again all night long, every time I turn over in bed I am waiting for the waters to pop but he is having none of it. I always talk to him telling him how much everyone is excited to meet him and then yesterday I thought maybe he isn't coming out because he is shy so I told him that he didn't have to meet anybody when he comes out (a little white lie) I have officially lost the plot!!!

Ah skint, that's so cute! Me and baby girl have conversations all the time - usually consists of me asking her to get off my bladder and other random things..

  • Ha. Snap. People at work always hearing me say "can you get your foot out of my ribs please". Or "will you lie still for half an hour!"
They give me funny looks and I jut say "not you!"

Baking night. Husband's work have a cake competition Thursday. I only found out about it last night! So had to come up with a cake, leg it to the shop after work. Got the first three cake tins in the oven now and the next three ready to go. Going to be multiple layers of cake inside, stripey blue and yellow layers, (might yet change the colours of the cores so they are stripes within stripes. And will be buttercream frosted tomorrow night in blue with yellow stars.
Thought as it was Thursday I'd make it an EU colored cake! Call it the in or out cake. He did originally ask if I could make it a flag and I said no it's a bad idea, but thought yeah, why not.
