Hey all, hope you're feeling as well as possible.
Skint - sounds like things are progressing naturally for you so I think i would have done the same and decided to wait before having a sweep.
Freddie - it's hard work isn't it but will be worth it once it's all done before baby arrives.
I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow and having had another scan on Thursday last week, we now have an induction date booked for 11th July - currently 1 week early but if our next scan on 30th reveals her belly is still big, they'll bring that further forward again - so realistically, we could have a baby within 2-3 weeks - eeek!
Reality is hitting home. Last week at work for me, still so much to do but can only do my best.
Off upstairs now to paint the alcove in the nursery where the wardrobe will be fitting into - when Mothercare finally deliver it!

Hope your all well.. My hubby put together our Ikea cot the last day, I was so proud of him. Currently letting the mattress breathe before I wash the bedding and dress it. Currently sitting outside of our bedroom and hubby says he'll get it lifted into our room the week baby girl is due. We just bought some 2nd hand furniture as we aren't planning on living abroad forever so didn't want to waste money.
Had my check up yesterday - strep b swab booked for 2 weeks time and I've an ultrasound booked for after that as well. Be nice to see how big baby is getting - my consultant is quite happy with my progress so just matter of counting down at this stage.094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Glad to hear all is going ok skint, hope your little one arrives very soon.
Oh not long left now gelly.
Freddie- we are doing some work on our house too in preparation for our little one, poor oh has been so busy, he hasn't really had a weekend for a few weeks!!
Got sent a 10% off voucher for Ikea this week which will come in very handy as we need to buy the wardrobe for the nursery plus oh needs a new wardrobe too so hopefully we will have a trip there very soon.
Have booked my whooping cough jab in for a few weeks time, I'm not very good with injections so not looking forward to that!! (I've got lots better and now can have a blood test without crying in the waiting room and can actually go on my own for them now, but still don't like proper injections!!!)0 -
It's D-day and nothing happening still. Sigh. I see a midwife at the hospital tomorrow, and possible sweep. I'd like them to check baby's position though as I've had some big movements from her and it doesn't feel like she's head down anymore
I hope I'm wrong.
Hope everyone else is OK xxxFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Happy due date Euro! I had some cartwheels last week and was convinced he/she had moved but
no, still head down. Midwife said it might have done a full 360! Certainly felt like it!
Exciting news Gelly! Not long for you!
I keep having moments of "omg there is a baby coming soon" - really thought by 39 weeks I would be ready for it! I'm sure its because it has gone so fast this time! Feel like I am about 28/30 weeks! Excited but understandably more nervous for delivery now I know what to expect! All baby related jobs are now done so I think having time on my hands to think isn't helping!0 -
Thanks Moneypenny. I know the feeling re too much time to think! The kitchen has just been scrubbed to within an inch of it's life....again! LolFebruary wins: Theatre tickets0

Oh Euro, it's so cool its the big day for you!
Think pink, I actually think vaccines are much better than blood draws - doesn't even hurt as muchI did find my arm hurt a little bit after but went away itself

Oh really, hopefully I will find it ok. I have learnt with blood tests to be clear in which arm and where roughly and have found that if they listen to me they can get the blood really easily.
Has anyone been weighed at their midwife/ doctor appointments? I was asked my weight at my booking in appointment and they weighed me when I had my 12 week scan but that's been it, I just wondered if that was usual?0 -
Think.. I was only weighed at the booking appointment with all mine after my first 2.. and when I was going in for surgery.. so they can give the correct amount of anaesthetic.
I gained 3 stone with Ottilie and have disposed of 1 stone 3lb so far.. most was water and blood.. so I foresee the next several stone taking some work..... *eats wine gums*
