  • Don't worry. You have plenty time for things to move around in there and then you'll start feeling more movement. And in a month or so when kicks and wriggles start getting very strong you'll wish you had quiet nights again ;)
The super smell is such a strange thing. I can identify so many perfumes as people walk past, and now certain ones (ghost) knock me sick. Never have before, but something has changed and the smell of them. Ick. And at work in the canteen I can smell people's food so clearly. It's just another excuse to get hungry I think.

  • Welcome to the newbies.

Still no news here, I am now 40+3 and never been so uncomfortable in my entire life, thank god the weather has cooled down. I went to the midwife on Thursday, she said babies head is fully engaged now and due to the pains I keep getting I am in slow labour, she offered me a sweep but I decided against it as she felt it was progressing on its own, if he is not here by next Thursday then I will be having a sweep and I am booked in to be induced on 28th June if he hasn't made an appearance by then (fingers crossed he has)

Health visitor came yesterday, she was really nice and just gave information regarding feeding, safe sleeping etc.

Hope you ladies are all well.

Ah skint, hope that baby decides to make an appearance soon.

I've a doctors appointment later - I've a slight temperature today, can't cool myself down at all. Hoping little miss is okay in there, she's usually much more active..

Am 20w tomorrow, not felt much at all but had my scan today and my placenta is at the front, so I will only really feel a bit on the left side... The baby's head is there currently so not much movement to feel :(

Mine is too! I started feeling kicks etc. at around 21/22 weeks I think it was. I'd felt some movement before then but not a massive amount, maybe just with baby being smaller then. I don't feel much around my belly button area at all, if anything. It's usually at both sides, or very low/high. I'm 25 weeks today.
  • Hope he makes a move soon skint. Can't imagine how frustrating it must be.

We've just finally been and sorted the pram. Picked it ages ago (Bugaboo Bee3) but been and ordered and picked colours. Got the full system with a car seat. So, nice big chunk of things sorted.

Changed cot bed ideas now after seeing a nice one in the shop. We've upgraded from what we were going to get to a silver Cross cot bed. Annoyingly they will deliver but not build it. Not unless we want to buy three pieces of the bedroom suite. But already decided on all the others. So will build it ourselves. Bit of a cheeky up sell when the bed and mattress is £500 already.

    .

Bored 4 year old who is naughty at the best of times, fidgetty 2 year old and a 5 year old who gawped about the room and paid no attention to instructions.. and the baby was awake so just wanted to feed so grizzled and my bones hurt and I am really sore and then i got a headache.. I'm rather glad we were thrown out of the shop and told to come back Monday .. I am now utterly exhausted.

I do however have a lovely pic of OH and the 4 girls for his mother.

Howdy, so tired. Was lifting all the block paving in garden yesterday. Feeling it today!

Fitter coming to do the floor in our garage conversion and kitchen. So can finally get the appliances out of the living room!

Its been non stop now for weeks and I'm completely knackered. Can't wait til it's finished. At least its all done before baby comes.

Midwife appointment yesterday was fine. She found his heartbeat straight away. Next one is something like the 8th July around 28 weeks.

I looked online at the pram we want and noticed that they (uberchild) have just started showing a new pram range which does have a compatible isofix base. The older one didn't. Still going to get the one we liked originally though as it's cheaper and better colour!

I'm not that fussed about having a base. I can see the convenience of just being able to clip in the seat. But we'll almost certainly be getting a separate full size proper car seat within a few months of the birth anyway so I'm sure we can cope with a seatbelt in the meantime

32 weeks today, time suddenly seems to be flying. I don't finish work until 20th July but due to using annual leave to work reduced days per week I only have 17 days left at work.

Have growth scan Wednesday, will be interested to see how much they think she weighs, I'm sure she's going to be around 7lb or even less. Just starting to populate lists of things still to get and things to put into bags in case we do have to transfer in. Welcome to the newbies and hoping things start happening for you soon skint!

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D
