Does everyone have to have a GTT afterwards or is it is you test positive in pregnancy? I always thought it was only the one. I can't be bothered faffing, going through that again any time soon. If I can avoid it I will.Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120

According to google and the baby centre, if you do develop gestational diabetes, you should be offered another GTT six weeks after birth to check yours levels have returned to normal.Became Mrs Scotland 16.01.16Became homeowners 26.02.16

Oh phew. Don't need to go through all that rubbish again. My hospital were a disaster at them. Booked me in too early, lost my notes and mixed me up with someone else!Book a week challenge: 11/52. Competitions won in 2021: 120

Only a few days until d-day for me. I reckon skint must be at or very close to hers though, as I'm sure she was a few days ahead of me. Are you still waiting skint?
My braxton hicks are getting stronger and more frequent now, coupled with backache and cramps at random times, so am hopeful that things are getting moving. Probs not though! Haha
Still waiting and getting so impatient nowdue date is tomorrow, euro I guarantee yours will come before mine, I think he is stubborn like his dad!! Told hubby I need a 'willy sweep' (sorry TMI) but he is having none of it, I think it's only fair as he helped put the baby in there he could at least try and help get him out.

Hope baby makes an appearance soon Skint...
My husband will have no choice in giving a willy sweep - he helped me put her in there, he can help me get her out!
Another Osteopath appointment in the morning - I'm weirdly looking forward to it as my hip has been better since last appointment.. Even though the 'massage' isn't very gentle - it does the trick! I've booked myself in for an hours mum 2 b massage for next week - can't bloody wait!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Hope baby comes soon Skint!
I'm 34 weeks todayI saw MW this morning, all fine, turns out I've lost a kilo since being weighed at 32weeks! But she isn't concerned. Total gain of 6kilos so far which I'm so pleased with
.
We had final antenatal class tonight, it was about breastfeeding, and it was so much better than the other 2 classes. Lots of really good information and some handouts too.
Counting down the days now til I finish work, have 10 working days left over the next few weeks. Fed up of it all now!
Tata - what are you seeing the osteopath for (if you don't mind me asking)? I've just found out that my work health scheme will pay for treatments for me but not sure what they do!* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Good luck skint! I'll be having a sweep at the hospital on Monday if still no baby by then.
I hope she arrives before then. I'll be trying to convince hubby to do a 'willy sweep', but I can't see him being up for it! He's getting really impatient as well though, so you never know!!February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
Flutterby, I'm going to osteopath for my hip as its sore and clicking. They tend to give massages which help joint and muscles - they can tell for instance if an injury in your legs is affecting your back. I need an X-ray to make sure everything is okay after baby comes.
I've no idea about weight ATM but I feel like I haven't put on as much the last 2 weeks..094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250

Thanks Tata. I don't think my achey hips quite warrant it then. But I also get acupuncture through my work scheme and have found that a local centre where I have had treatment before do a Preparation for Birth acupuncture course, which is 4 sessions, one a week from 37 weeks. It's £150 but I'll get that all back through the scheme
