  • I'm sure if they were concerned euro they would have told you to get there asap (I'd like to think so anyway) hopefully it will start to ease up. I keep feeling sick but not to the point where I think I will be, just really off.

As for the leg cramps they started last night, I thought that since I got carpal tunnel syndrome I would escape this... no such luck grrrr. Money that did make me laugh re your dream though!!

Got a letter from our solicitor today regarding the car accident, they have arranged for a gp to see us on the 14th June... I'm due on the 15th so that has had to be re arranged until mid may now. Sick of all these appointments they just seem to build up.

Why on earth would a midwife suggest a sweep at 37 weeks? That actually sounds downright irresponsible. Term is 37-42 weeks but if your dates are out you could end up in premature labour and all sorts. Honestly, this country and it's obsession with due date makes me so fricking mad, it's a guess! Babies don't run to an NHS timetable, they come when ready and unless medically needed, why the massive rush to force them out?

If they think I'll be having a sweep, a VE or am induction then they will soon learn otherwise!

Very happily married on 10th April 2013 :D

Euro - hope you are feeling better now. I felt rough again when I got home, but it seems to have passed now.

  • Euronorris - hope you are feeling better now. If you feel fobbed off and still don't feel well get to the walk in centre. You know your own body better than anyones.

jtr - I'm currently booked for 38 week sweeps (but may yet refuse) to avoid c-section or induction. She suggested 37 week sweeps today which I too was surprised about. The last baby came at 41+6 so I'm well aware that they don't run to schedule :D

    Thanks ladies.

Am feeling a lot better now thank you. And bp is normal again.

Seeing as I cried at, well, everything yesterday. And I mean everything. I think it was a migraine brought on by hormones.....hormones which then saw me overreact!

Jeez I feel like an idiot today!

Bought some wall decals today for baby's room to make it look a bit more cheerful - everything is beige at the moment...

Have a slight sore back today - think it's from all the walking I did today. Hopefully Hubby can give me a small back massage tonight to make me feel better

Spent 2 hours in M&Ps yesterday after having a change of heart on our pushchair and furniture so had to change everything but it took the assistant an age to do it all, I bet she was glad to see the back of us :o

On the plus a store more locally was closing down so we managed to get all our bedding set: bumper bar covers, mobile, sheets & blankets baby sleeping bags 50% off, saved an absolute fortune so not all bad.

Has anyone looked at or know of anyone who has the Clare de Lune Noah Pod? DH really likes it but I think it'll last two minutes the inside looks tiny. We have a static crib for upstairs to start with and want something else for downstairs.

Really tired today my ankles keep swelling, lovely look in sandles... Not :rotfl:

Tata - ooh what decals did you get? I'm going to look for some as we rent so can't paint.

So this may be totally insane being pregnant and all, but today we picked up our new kitten!! She is just 9 weeks old, black and white. So cute. We used to have two cats but one died suddenly in Feb and now the other one is a bit lonely so we got him a friend. Finger's crossed she settles in well.

Flutterby, we are the same, can't paint as we are currently renting...

We got some flower decals, 1 big tree decals with owls and 2 smaller tree decals as well. They are all the same colours so should be nice when done.

Oh a kitten how nice! Just be careful and get someone else to change the letterbox.

Rinroo, what pushchair did you go for in the end?
