I don't take anything.. it isnt just me that is constantly unwell.. we've all been like it since September.. DS3 just started at a different college so you can bet your life we will get more germies!
I have the angelcare monitor with sensor pad.. it was £44 new so they arent that expensive!
I am really thirsty all the time.. I don't drink anything other than tea with the odd glass of lemonade thrown in .. neither of which are thirst quenching I guess.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Euro, loved the sound of your minimoon. I would love one too but hardly anywhere up here in the Highlands and DH doesn't want us travelling too far now! Also well done on the Grand National, both my horses didn't finish! Raging.
Pig, hope you feel better soon.
AFM, had my pregnancy massage on Saturday which was lovely and relaxing. Definitely worth the money. I've just bought myself a desk fan as I can't tolerate this heat at work anymore. I only have a few weeks left but it is unbearable! Hopefully got decorator coming this week to skim, plaster walls so we can paint nursery and our furniture gets delivered on Friday.0 -
Hi all I've not posted much as I can never be bothered to faff about with logging in on my phone, and OH likes to use my laptop right when I want to!
All is good here, got my 36 week appointment on Thursday so we anticipate they'll be talking to us about inducing me in the next fortnight or so. I'm very happy I finished work when I did, I've hardly slept (partially due to OH snoring as he's got a really bad cold, I slept on the sofa on Saturday!), the pain in my hips and the swelling in my feet/legs is really bothering me. I'm going for a McDonald's date with my friends in about an hour and I will enjoy it so much!
I'll try and catch up on the thread now, from what I've skimmed it doesn't seem like it's been a very good week! Hope this week is better for everyone! Our Rainbow Twins born 17th April 2016

Wow! That's come round quick lulu!
Toots, I don't blame him. I wouldn't have bothered going so far if it wasn't for meeting new baby. The car journeys weren't very comfortable either.
I've been looking at changing bags for the last few days. Don't want anything girly as DH will end up using it more than I will. I really like the look of the pacapod backpack, but it has such a hefty price tag!
Haven't yet been able to find anywhere selling it cheaper, or with a voucher code or cash back that I can use either. And none of that specific model on eBay either.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
I dont bother with a changing bag.. realistically you need wipes a couple of nappies and maybe a bottle or two if you use them.. I just chuck them in my usual handbag. You need one more when you are toilet training for the potty and 25 dry outfits! lol
Surely any old rucksack will do?? or a carrier bag??LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
You're as bad as my husband! lol
I'm not using a carrier bag, and the only other backpack we have I use everyday to carry my lunch to and from work etc.
My handbag definitely won't fit that stuff in, it's tiny. Plus, I like to have things organised to the nth degree! hahaha I was thinking that the pacapod would appeal to DH as well, due to it being slightly gadgety.February wins: Theatre tickets0 -
you know a changing bag is any old bag with a cold non-tumble dry plastic mat in it??
lol.
£70 for a 'changing bag' as oppose to a £10 rucksack.. I'm with your hubby.. and if he is using it most let him choose his own!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
We got a changing bag free with our pram (silvercross pioneer) so one less thing to buy. It is quite small but it should do. It's not something I'd want to spend a lot of money on. My handbag definitely wouldn't work either euro, I can't even fit my purse in it!0

I get my large purse, my knitting, a myriad of stuff and snacks and spare pants and the kitchen sink in my handbag.. Then I put my phone and money in my pocket.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0

Shhhhh.
*sticks fingers in her ears* I can't hear you! lol
I can't let him choose! I still have to use it, and he's talking about using a fishing bag!!
I think the compromise will end up being that we get a plain black, messenger style, bag from Boots or Tesco.
My handbag is a small shoulder one, so it fits purse, keys, phone and headphones. That's about it really.February wins: Theatre tickets0
