31 weeks today.
DH is treating me to a full body pregnancy massage on Saturday morning. She comes thoroughly recommended too. I am so excited for it. Hoping it can relieve my aches and pains and help me relax. Been awake since 4am today and now I am lagging. If I could have a wee nap at my desk every day that would be great!0 -

I had one for my birthday 3 weeks ago and it was bliss! Enjoy. I am going to a spa hotel this weekend but sadly they are fully booked for treatments despite me asking 2 months in advance.
Roll on 5pm when I can escape work til Tuesday. I've been more or less on my own for 2 weeks doing 3 people's jobs! So I've worked my socks off.
Looking forward to a weekend away with some friends, leaving OH behind. These friends haven't seen my bump so it will be nice to show it off.
Pregnancy wise I'm feeling ok today* Rainbow baby boy born 9th August 2016 *

Being in my own bed last night was nothing short of heavenly.
OHs mother offered to come 'help' when squirt arrives!! I told OH he can politely decline her kind offer .. Or I will!!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
How did the scan go Becca?
Euronorris - I would have been furious too. I would have told HR that if he came in I would be staying off! As far as I know gastro is not harmful to the baby if it is a bug but only if you catch it from food poisoning. I had it at 6 weeks pregnant and felt like death warmed up for nearly 2 weeks. Obviously horrid to have though but as far as I know its only problematic for the baby if it is food poisoning related rather than viral.
Hi Tata
Not much to update, felt wretched after my whooping cough jab, dead arm and extreme tiredness for 36 hours afterwards. Iron dropped again so may need iron tablets
How is everyone else?0 -
My sore throat turned into a full blown cold, hoping it disappears soon, not sure I can deal with a blocked nose if I went into labour.
Also been having the worst heartburn for the last 2 nights, making me feel sick.
5 days left til due date so end is in sight0 -
I've struggled at work this week, pelvis has been very painful, throwing up, knackered, braxton hicks. I'm off today as I compress 5 days hours into 4, but I'm starting to feel very ready for my maternity leave to start. I'll see how I am after next week and if I still feel terrible I'll give the doctor a call. Got my 34 week midwife appointment next week so will also have a chat with her.0

Wonderful here!!
Sore throat, nose bleeds, crazy nocturnal inhabitant... Trying to make myself feel better with 'only a few weeks left' is failing miserably!!
Moaning stepped up a gear to moaning and randomly bursting into tears for no apparent reason !!
Loads of knitting done as I can't do anything more strenuous .. I need someone to come vacuum!!
Back to school tomorrow and nursery on Tuesday so I may well be dead for the rest of the week!! I have a yarn order to dye and get posted this week..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Hi Ladies
I've been away all weekend for our honey/babymoon. Was a weekend voucher thing that MIL got us for our wedding, and we finally used it. Combined with a visit to my brother's, as his wife had another baby 10 days ago. So, it was a lovely weekend, but very chaotic on the Saturday. At one point, there were 7 children under 5 and 12 adults! lol
Both DH and I won our bets on the grand national - I hadn't even realised he had the same horse as me. I won £100, and he won £250!! So, we were overjoyed.
Have been using the birthing ball to try and get little one into a better position. No luck so far! And acid reflux is horrendous at the moment!
Pigpen, Lemon and Kroberts - I hope you are feeling better soon!
Moneypenny - I was most worried about the chance of dehydration, as that can be quite dangerous for bubba. Luckily, he didn't come in and I was off on Friday anyway, so all is wellI hope your arm is feeling better now. Mine felt like I'd been punched for a couple of days! I always get that with vaccines though, unfortunately. Fine when they do it, achy afterwards.
I wonder how lulu is getting on? Haven't heard from her in a while.

I now have a raging cold.. again.. and a dodgy tummy again!!! I think I need shooting! I was hoping by the end of the easter hols all these bugs and germs would be out of everyones system.. clearly not!!
I need to get some yarn dyed today or tomorrow. or Wednesday.. I have 800g to go out this week.. to one buyer! My biggest single order yet! And I need to finish the 2 dog coats.. I just feel so grotty!
Most of the money made on ebeast for the new pushchair so one less thing to worry about..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -
Ah Euronorris, that's lovely about your babymoon and winning bets! Me and DH are planning on a weekend away in a hotel - just need to decide when!
Pigpen, sorry to hear about the dodgy stomach - are you taking extra vitamins? I know berroca is good for vit c to help with infections, not sure but think you can have one every day.
My friend has offered us her angelcare monitor as she got new video monitor instead so I'm thinking of taking it, it's got sensor pad and all so should be very useful in the cot. I know they are a tad expensive so need to see how much she would like to sell it for.
My hunger is insatiable! I'm not thirsty as I'm drinking extra water but I think about food all the time.. Don't think I have any particular cravings but I can guarantee I have gestational diabetes from the amount of chocolate I want!094 Sealed pot member! (7) €185 (8) €138 (9) €€250
