I've had fruit for breakfast.. I think I am totally ill!! I've not had a proper meal for a couple of days as I feel so dreadful!

I need to get a yarn order out today .. couldnt do it yesterday due to the rain.. :( .. Last day of anything physical probably.

My 4 y/o has suddenly taken to calling me fat.. OH is not impressed but her eyes are the same level as my tum so it must look enormous to her!

I am very hungry these days (at 30+4). I do try to eat a lot, but I do get full very quickly, so I am grazing a lot! haha

I weighed myself this morning and another 2lbs had crept on! Oh well! lol

Ohh becca - the heartburn! I hate it! I have days where it's not too bad, and others where it's just horrendous. On those days, I live on rennies and gaviscon!

Not much doing here. DH has caught the cold I had, and likes to keep telling me how sore his throat is, and that his nose hurts. Then when I ask if he's taken anything 'No, not yet.'. Bl00dy martyr! Take the tablets you're lucky enough to be able to take man!! lol

  • Euronorris mine is the same, he's got a (mild!!!) cold and after every sneeze, cough, sniffle I have to hear *uhhh this cold is really taking it out of me.* REALLY? HOW AWFUL FOR YOU. Haha!

28+5 today, had an appointment with the midwife on Monday - I haven't really taken to her, shes a bit....odd. Had my bloods taken and Anti-D injection (ow!) so im pleased that's done as I know its important.

Had an appointment with the consultant this morning who was incredibly rough with her pointy doppler, but heartbeat sounds good and hes a good size apparently. Breech but theres still loads of time for him to turn.

Ive ordered a changing bag from Amazon, more of a backpack than a bag - im not a bag lady really, so will suit me better. My mums been picking up clothes and blankets, I've been buying wipes, nappies and creams and lotions everytime I've been out shopping for the past few trips, and also my nana has been kind and bought us a steraliser and one of those bottle makers everyone is going on about so thats a big help.

Oh, I went and picked my Emmas Diary packs up from my local Argos the other day - got all 3 in one go, was really impressed with the goodies!!!

    xx:T

  • Hi Ladies,

Just caught up with this thread, we have just got back from Wales where we spent a few nights with both of our parents before the babies arrival, had a lovely time even though my back is still sore. I started physio last week, she just gave me some exercises to do but they seem to be working slowly but surely.

31 weeks today I can't believe how fast it is going!!! Midwife appt along with whooping cough jab tomorrow morning

I've got a really bad headache today, it came on late last night and is still hanging around now so annoying, think I might be dehydrated :( on the plus side the nursery is now done yay, it looks gorgeous.

Had my 32 week midwife appointment this morning. Blood pressure and urine fine. Baby is breech long but has plenty time to move into position. I am measuring "small" so have to go back in 2 weeks to be measured again and if it is still small I've to go for another scan. Take "small" as today I am 31+6 and bump is 31cm...

I don't mind going back in 2 weeks though as means I get a long lie before I have to go to work! Bonus. Suppose it is better for them to be over pre-cautious as well.

When I went to the midwife on Monday she measured me as 28cm (I was 28+3) but I saw a consultant today who measured me at 30cm! Apparently you have to get a personalised growth chart now, and depending on height and weight, not everyone fits into the "1cm for every week of pregnancy" rule anymore. They love to worry you don't they :D

Haha, glad it's not just me dinky! I've just bought him some tyrozets so he can stop whinging about his sore throat. There's a million ice pops in the freezer anyway, that would help with that!

I've also got my 31 week appointment tomorrow morning. Already had the whooping cough vaccine though. My bump always measures a little small, but it seems to grow at a steady rate, so they don't seem concerned. What size is it 'supposed' to be at 31/32 weeks? Plus, I think the fact that little one is breech is probably why it's measuring a bit small. She certainly doesn't feel small in there! lol

Jeez it's hot in here today!

Had some vouchers through from Boots yesterday. One was for a free MAM bottle or ANY Boots breast pads. I chose the breast pads, and as it said ANY, I went for the best ones they did and in the largest size too. The voucher did not like this, but the manager honoured it because it does not state anywhere what size, or type of Boots breast pads. It only says ANY. :D

Yep pigpen, as far as I am concerned that is measuring spot on too! If they measured me this afternoon I might be 35cm after eating an egg mayo sarnie, sausage roll and a cake for lunch! Woops.
