Good luck gayleygoo!
Hope things get going for you too Aunty Pickle.0 -
Good luck everyone who has things 'happening'!
Just a little update on our poorly doggy... after he was unable to make any recovery from his fits we made the difficult decision to let him be at peace. Not what we had ever thought we would be doing in our 2 week countdown to baby's due date. Cried a lot yesterday and prayed that baby would be kind and not put in an early appearance - OH had very strong BH yesterday morning so we were a tad concerned!
Trying to draw a line under the sadness today and get plenty of oxytocin flowing for OH and baby :A0 -
So sorry DHF, i know how much a part of the family pets are. x0

I'm so sorry downhillfast. Hope you and DW can have time to come to terms with this and still be able to look forward to your new arrival.
Big hugs xxRock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0 -
Sorry DHF - how sad for you all.
AP - that definitely sounds like latent phase and exactly what happened to me and they stopped and then bam started again and DD was born not long after.
Gayleygoo - all sounds very promisinggood luck and let us know how you get on.
Hope Missy is doing well also.
AFM - I've hit an energy brick wall. They retook my bloods I check my iron levels, iron was fine but ferritin (iron stores) are low so I'm on a gentle iron supplement (feroglobin). I feel utterly exhausted though, like continual dry eyes. I think it's a culmination of lack of sleep (constant broken sleep) and lugging this big belly around. I'm hopin I get a handle on it soon as its beginning to affect my mood and was in tears to DH yesterday xPAD 2023 Debt total as of Dec 2022 £18,988.63*April £17,711.03

A quick update. Went to have my waters broken Saturday night. All went well to start with, I had ALOT. Of water, went on the drip, contractions were getting stronger but pain was bearable but baby heart beat droped a couple times. The first few times we thought were just blip or picking up on my own heart beat but on the third time we got the doc to examine and she could feel the cord and baby was crushing it with it's head so I was sent straight to an emergency C section by General anaesetic. But when I woke up I had a lovely 9lb 5 oz baby boy.
Cord also had a knot in it.
We are now in the post delivery sweep recovering. I'm a bit sore but getting by. Yesterday was a bit of a wash out as I was going i. And out of sleep for most of it. Baby was also very tired. So today we are a bit more settled, hubby has been great while I've been Quite inactive. Breast feeding going ok but as baby is so tired isn't eating much just yet.
So, what matters is that we are all fine, just need time for some recovery but we are all healthy.
Thanks for all your support guys!!!0 -

Just a slight warning - On the breastfeeding front little lady for me was ok the 1st night but she made up for it by being permanantly attached to my boobs on the 2nd night! So it might a be long night ahead for you. But at least if it is your know it's all normal ;-) Lots of sucking = a demand for lots of milk to be made in a few days ... ! :-D0 -
Congratulations milly :j0
