hi ashtray-heart! welcome!Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0

Hope everyone is doing OK.
Handed my Matb1 in yesterday, am taking 3 weeks holiday prior to due date and then will be on leave. I am doing 3 day weeks for a couple of weeks before then. I remember the commute being the worst bit for me last time at the end .0 -
I remember the commute being the worst bit for me last time at the end .
Ive got 3 weeks of work left, im 33 weeks and the commute is starting to hit me a bit. Its a 35 min drive each way which isn't too bad but everyday on the way home from work I get a stabbing pain in my back and I have to take corners slower as my body aches if it twists.
work was suppose to slow down after this Friday but I've just been handed a big project to complete before I go. It will keep me distracted at least and stop me getting bored but was hoping of doing shorter days for the last couple weeks.0 -

Also, Wendz, Doesn't your maternity leave automatically start as soon as you have the baby. therefore, if baby comes early you wont use up all of your holiday? I was going to do what you said but my HR said to go on maternity leave first then add the holiday to end of the maternity leave.0 -

So I've added the three newbies to the list (hope all your details are correct ladies!) in the hope that it gets things going for Nicky Noo Na and Mrs_T_M and the list will have to be updated again!!!!
I'm at home today because I have a rotten cold which is making me physically sick and my PGP is playing up so hobbling around. Generally feeling sorry for myself!
On a positive note, I wrote a letter to the mental health midwife explaining that I was disappointed with the last appointment etc. She phoned me and we had a good chat and cleared the air and we'll discuss things (hopefully more openly and constructively) at my next apt. She said she felt awful for making me feel pressured etc (I almost said "good"!)Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0 -
Welcome ashtray heart :hello:
Hopefully there will be baby news very shortly as both Mrs_T_M and Pington are in hospital now :T:j
Aunty, I'm pleased that you had a good chat with the midwife and they are aware of how they made you feel. Hopefully it will all be more positive from now onSorry you've been feeling under the weather, I've also got a stinking cold and now a horrible chesty cough which funnily enough only started after having my whooping cough injection on Tuesday! Typical that I get ill when I'm on my half term
Hopefully we both get better soon!

ooh, Carrot too eh? How exciting! Hope everything's going well...
hugs missy for the cold and cough - you have my sympathies!Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock0 -
*whispers* I think Carrot is being confused with Pington! Pington was on the last thread but is only on the FB group now, not on this thread, and Carrot is a different lady having twins! Pington is the one in hospital at the mo! Remember when there were three ladies having twins on the first thread? Not sure what happened to the third one though.
Anyways, as for me I saw my consultant on Monday and I'm now booked in for a c section on 10th March! Baby is still breech plus previous complications hence the section plan. So exciting to have a date to look forward to
Hello to the newbies, nice to see the list filling up again! Thanks for doing the list Aunty Pickle0 -
Thank you for the welcomes and for the add on the list!
Good luck to Mrs TM, Carrot and Pington - how exciting
I've added my holidays to the beginning of my mat leave and I will add on what I accrue whilst off at the end, before I leave.
Can I ask...how do we join the pregnancy club Facebook group? Do I have to be requested or something?PAD 2023 Debt total as of Dec 2022 £18,988.63*April £17,711.03
