Hi all. Also been a busy work week at work for me too, productive though.
I have a normal pillow at the moment which is big and squidgy. I have a wedge one from last time which I will use when I am bigger. Think it depends on how comfy you are.
Going for my growth scan next week at 28 weeks then m/w I think next for blood, whooping cough and anti d one day and consultant the next.
Hope everyone is ok xx0 -
oh sugar I'm No2 on the list!!!!! eek! Now that is scary. May explain why I've been experiencing 'twinges' most of the morning, nothing seems to have happened though0

Hi SewIt, yes I know from the fb group that they've had but don't want to update with any of the details on there without getting their go ahead to do so.
Lemon Tree, scary biscuits for all of us think, this is the first time I've officially been top ten on the list and although birth scares me witless already I'm getting even worse with the thought of it!
Think I've just experienced my first lot of Brixton hicks just when I got home there, some thoroughly unpleasant tightenings going on. We've just been and picked a carpet for babies bedroom as it was too hot this afternoon to paper it. DH just called a carpet fitter he knows and it's getting laid next Wednesday so papering is a must before then! Our bedroom is getting done same day, not sure where we're going to put all the furniture out of both rooms when that's getting done! No long lie for me that day!No longer ...tobe! Has anyone got the Joie Gemm car seat? We were going to use a seat my sister gave us but there's not a lot of padding to it and the newborn support isn't there so I'm planning another one. Just wondered if anyone has any thoughts on it?No longer ...tobe! Married 20/06/13MFW 2021 #117 £5415.40/£6000MFW 2022 #77 £3740/£3000MFW 2023 #82 £0/£30000

I've got that one Mrs C and it seems ok, it's not had a baby in it yet though. I got the belted base but will be getting my sister to have a look as it seems to move a little side to side and I'm not sure if that's normal. Otherwise it will also fit in your car with the normal seatbelt connection which I think someone else on here uses it as. We'll also do this in OH's car.0

De-lurking to say a huge congratulations to TCD, teabag and daisiegg on your little ones arrivals!! :j :j :j Hope you're all doing well, thinking of you.

Thank you x0 -
Wow congrats to all those who have given birth recently.
We bought the joie gemm seat and isofix base as it goes on my pushchair, not tried it out with a baby yet but seems easy enough to use in the car.0 -
Just updating quickly but if someone else could update the list please, it is a pain to do it from iPad.
Waters went last week at 35+6, while husband was away on business in the US. He made it back in plenty of time because it took 48 hours for her to come. So - Alice Clara was born at 06.36 on Friday 5th September, weighing 5lbs 9oz.
It was a traumatic birth and things went a bit wrong at the end, but I will write a proper birth story in the other thread at some point. We had to stay in hospital until last night as she needed IV antibiotics and then light treatment for jaundice, and I had lost a lot of blood and was not very well.
She is absolutely gorgeous and I love her to pieces but am mentally/emotionally struggling with the sudden adjustment. Was convinced I would go overdue and it is hard getting my head around the fact that she is here, when I should be turning 37 weeks tomorrow. We are having feeding issues for a few reasons and it is very frustrating and upsetting.
But gazing at her beautiful face makes it all feel very worth it!0
