Hey ladies,

I should be sleeping but a quick update. Looks like I will be majorly queue jumping! Waters went today, and after an initial plan to do the section I've been admitted instead and will hang around until baby makes an appearance.

Any sign of contractions or infections and baby will be whipped out, but if not then they'll take me to at least 34 weeks on Wednesday. Would be good if I can get through this long weekend because despite what the staff say I do think there are fewer consultants and staff around.

But won't be to long regardless! Baby is fine they tell me, although I worry about him without his bubble of water. But got to trust they know what they are up to.

Will keep you all posted - or will outsource it to daisiegg if necessary.

How exciting/scary for you both T2D! As you say, got to trust that they know what they are doing and are doing the best for your wee man. Lots of women's waters go days before they give birth.

Good luck! Keep us posted when you can, so excited that another of the TTC 12+ gang is getting their forever baby!

It sounds like your water's went about the same time as mine! Isaac is now a bonny 9 week old (today) none the worse for his early appearance. Baby obviously is too excited to see you that he just can't wait.

Oooh t2d - fingers crossed he stays in for as long as safe and :j for getting this far! We'll be excited to hear all when you are ready :T

AFM can hear reading festival from our bathroom window and they sound like they are having a jolly time so good excuse to stay indoors and get on. So far though achieved some breakfast and a nap. *Ahem*

Good Evening Ladies,


I'm afraid I have queue jumped! Sorry it's a bit late notice, but on August 14th, 7:58am, I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy who we have named Zachary. He weighed 6lb 10 ounces, and was 17 days early!


Fortunately, he is perfect in every way. I only had gas and air but that was mostly because I progressed so fast, midwife didn't believe it and by the time I forced her to examine me it was too late for anything else! Waters went at 2am, he was born just under 6 hours later. I had to be cut towards the end as he became distressed but am healing well.


He is absolutely adorable and we are besotted.
