skint - can't help re monitoring as this is my first. Hope you are ok after your crash, what a total a-hole that guy is.

Its not too hot up here, a lovely 22 yesterday, dropping to 15 at night so its just perfect weather for me. Hope everyone is managing to stay cool where they are.

How is everyone?

Well I had my growth scan and growth is completely normal however there is a problem with the blood flow through the cord so they think its a sign the placenta is getting old. Got to have another scan next week and if no change they will induce me at 37 weeks. Baby healthy weight and still moving ok. Add to this my pelvic pain (which the physio did wonders on) has come back, in fact so bad I actually cried last night.

Skint - hope your ok, some people drive like idiots.

Cmace - I've just sorted into newborn, 0-3 etc as to be honest we don't have a huge amount as we don't know what we are having so it's made it easier.

In regards to hair colouring I asked my midwife at my booking in appointment and she said there is no problem having hair done especially highlights as they don't actually touch the head. So nothing to worry about.

Disney- any tips on relieving pelvic pain? I could cheerfully saw my left hip off at the moment. Really struggling to move/ drive/ lie down without wanting to cry like a baby! glad that they're keeping an eye on you and baby. It's mad how these problems wouldn't be monitored if it wasn't for the odd question asked or measurement taken. After acting like a brat about monitoring for so long i'm incredibly grateful for it!

Had my growth scan today. Baby is still happily tracking along its 5th centile line. Today baby weighed 3lb 5oz. Doctor said not likely to pack on loads of weight so possibly going to have a 6-7lb baby max. It has 5/6 weeks to gain weight now so am under strict instructions to eat (ha, gis an appetite then!) and rest as much as possible. We'll see how that goes though tbh if my hip gets any worse I don't see how i'll be able to get around, let alone go to work/ walks/ decorate/ generally move my butt!

silly question no doubt - we had our crib mattress delivered today, and I've put a fitted sheet on it, and the bloomin thing keeps popping up in the middle. Is this usual until the sheets have had a bit of use and the elastic gets used to being stretched? told you it's a silly question.
Disney & tcod sorry to hear about your hip problems, I really must stop whinging about getting a bit of back ache when I go to bed it's nothing compared to what you must be feeling.
Disney hope that you're baby is fine despite the slowing blood flow.
tcod glad your baby is still growing well. Mine is only just / or just above the lowest line for head size and the middle line for tummy, never know if it's good, bad or indifferent.

TCD - No tips unfortunately not too much you can do but physio did tell me try to keep legs together, turning in bed turn them together and just generally take it easy. My pelvis was out of alignment at 28 weeks but physio popped it back into place and I had no problems until now. Babies head is engaged now though and is pretty much all in the pelvis so I'm guessing it's popped out again. If it's that painful get yourself to the physio they really did help.

Lemon- Thank you. It's actually too much blood flow which apparently is fairly uncommon! I would say as long as the sheet is tight enough to not come off I wouldn't worry.

Skint- I'm 36 weeks tomorrow so it would be next weekend eeek! Baby already weighs approx 5.5lb so shouldn't be a problem. If I go term they said it would probably just be a small baby.

Before even trying for a baby thought it would all be plane sailing. How wrong was I?
