Thanks for that TCD. My downs risk was 1 in 100,000 and everything looked fine at 12/20 week scan. But good to know they may ask. Midwife did say if scans normal I will then just be measured from scan measurements and not need further scans or anything. Sounds like everything's fine with you just being careful.x0

t2d - I only take calcum and vitamin D. Like you I make sure to keep my diet as healthy as possible. Cereal and fruit in the morning, fruit juice, often a salad for lunch, nuts and seeds for a snack, then dinner will usually side salad or veg. The odd biscuit, ice cream, popcorn etc obviously comes in but only once I've eaten the healthy bit! Even with the ice cream we are going for things like raspberry sorbet or mango and passion fruit forzen yoghurt.
I definitely felt better once I stopped the folic aicd. My mw is fine with it.

Oh and I have sorted out the spare room this morning so we can fit some baby things in there. I have no idea what we will do when the baby needs its own room as the spare room is my sewing room and I need to be able to leave it all set up for my work. Oh well we won;t worry about that for at least another year I guess!
I'm totally worn out now though - it took two hours (DD went to a friend's) and Oh is now putting stuff in the loft and I have a car full of things for the local hospice.
That was the biggest job left to do though so I'm glad it's done, now it's just washing things and stuff like that which in all honesty can happen when baby is born if need be.
I had a dream last night that I had the baby but Oh was in the kitchen and kept saying "in a minute" when I was calling him through, so it was me and DD, then the baby was born in the sac, and when we got it out I asked DD to tell me what it was, she said "a boy" and I looked and was so disappointed!! I hope I'm not if that happens for real, although I do really want another girl.
I've been having LOADS of Braxton Hicks today, painful ones and at times just a few minutes apart, but I think it's just prelabour. Not expecting to make it much past 39 weeks now though. Am 37+4 today.

I had my first NCT antenatal class today and it was brilliant!! I've had 2 NHS classes so far and at the time thought they were fine but now I've been on the NCT class I can see the difference. The rest of the class are all lovely people too
I am the first one due by one day though so that's a bit scary!
Had my whooping cough jab this week and was expecting it to be sore for the next few days but it's been fine.
Yesterday was my last day at work and it sooooo didn't feel like it. Felt at most like I was going on a weeks AL. I think I'll find it hard to let go of work until baby is born but maybe in a week or two I'll be loving it. Want to repack my hospital bag for the second time and re sort the baby's clothes out for the third time now, is that weird?!

tcod, what you have to remember is that I'm telling you what I have done, not what I haven't done. I've done no housework for weeks, and it's driving me to despair. I really must get some done this weekend otherwise the dust will just pack it's bags and head off to cleaner house out of disgust - actually that's could be a good longer term cleaning principle! lol
I figured today that as I had a 9 o'clock hair appointment I would 'practice' getting ready in a flash like have to do for work. I was shocking, knackered within half an hour of sitting down at the salon and I even got up an hour after I would
have to get up for work! it's pretty scary really.
cmace I had my whooping cough jab yesterday and like you expected it to be bad, but it's not been too bad, don't know it's been done unless I press down where they did it, so as long as I don't do that I'm fine0 -
What does pelvic pain feel like ladies? Had a bit of 'normal' round ligament pain earlier in pregnancy but am in agony at the moment. Think I was a bit of a bell in work today- moved all of our stockroom around and restocked the labs. Have a really intense, stabby, shooty pain going across front of pubic bone into left hip when I move. Can just about shuffle around but moving left leg kills. Am in work tomorrow and need it to sod off....any advice?0

Is it stabby right in the front of the foof and/or in your groin crease? If so that sounds like SPD/PGP. Get a referral to physio and they can give you a belt that supports the pelvis (not the same thing as a belly support belt).
Keep legs together when sitting standing and lying, don;t do wide-legged stances, don;t lift heavy stuff, don;t twist, and don't hoover is what my physio said. Also do not sit on the floor or cross your legs. DFW Nerd Club member 023...DFD 9.2.2007 :heartpuls married 21 6 08 :A Angel babies' birth dates 3.10.08 * 4.3.11 * 11.11.11 * 17.3.12 * 2.7.12 :heart2: My live baby's birth date 22 7 09 :heart2: I'm due another baby at the end of July 2014! :j
