OMG Mary I am glad everything is ok with you and little one. We were similar last week when I thought I was leaking. I had packed the hospital bag but nearly forgot to put the car seat in the car so ended up sending hubby back in to fetch it. Doesn't half add to the stress.

I think we are just about ready for her to come now. The house is pretty organised (although the garage is almost full to bursting). At least the house is clear though and the junk room is now a usable office/spare bedroom. Over the next few weekends we will just have to take a few boxes at a time and decide whether to keep, skip or sell/charity and take it to the appropriate place.

Samtoby - I know you had you show the other day. I was wondering whether you felt it make a move or whether you just happened to see it. I am still waiting for mine so keeping my eyes peeled. Anyone else had their show?

Sorry i've not posted for a while, i have been reading though. I'll try and post to everyone individually later on.

OMG Mary!!! That sounds scary! Stay away from plugs ladies!

As for me, I can barely walk with SPD have physio on Monday, i'm hoping they will give me crutches or something as it has got so bad. Plus I had my GTT test on Wednesday and they rang on Thursday to say i had Gestational DIabetes. Yay. So have to go to a clinic on Tuesday to find out how to test my blood sugar levels and how it will be treated. It all feels like too much on top of the horrific heartburn and general pregnancy aches.

I'm now really worried i'm going to have a massive baby or something is going to go wrong.

plus we haven't bought anything yet. (literally nothing, not even a baby gro!) We cant decide on a pushchair or anything else. We've just had 4 rooms plastered that need decorating before we can do babys room.

Husband doesn't get how stressed im getting and friends don't get it either.

Sorry turned into a rant, but i needed to get that off my chest.

Hugs to you all, I though the hard part was getting pregnant!

Blooming heck Mrs. Muffin that's an awful lot to be going through!

When will you find out if you will be given some crutches to help with your spd? Is it possible to get signed off work? that could help you relax a bit which could help with the spd.

I don't know much about the diabetes, but I think a few ladies on here have have a GTT and been diagnosed with diabetes, so hopefully someone with some first hand knowledge will be along soon to help x

NDG I remember you saying something similar before re your siblings, sounds like you were lucky to get a crafted crib if your brother got a drawer pmsl! are OH and Isaac back home yet?

I've just got back from my nightshift on my second job and the lights in the ladies toilets had blown, my boss asked me if I had been messing about with the switches psml! definetly not going to hear the end of this for a while lol!

VickyVics - The show was in my knickers and I habe had very heavy discharge ever since. A bit of mild period pain here and there nothing major though.

fireyfirenze - GTT test blrrggghhhh I hated the drink and sitting foir two hours. But well worth checking! Hope it goes well.

mary, I'm so relieved for you.

mrs Muffin - you've so much on, do give yourself some slack. Don't worry about not buying anything yet: one Carboot sale / eBay session / trip to Mothercare / Kiddicare will have you sorted. There's a good list somewhere showing how little newborns actually need.
- I also had a big wobble yesterday... After visiting friends who've just moved house. Think it made me realise how much our life is about to change. Plus loosing my workroom to be a nursery, yet husband gets to keep his home office! Grumble.

Vicky / mrs M - I had the GTT & felt v unwell after. But it can back negative. But as I have heigher BMI & my results weren't particularly low I'll prob be checked again.

Yes - they went on the evening of the marathon (13th April) and got back early on Easter Sunday and came to my parents' house in Kent. OH had to go back to London after 36 hours because he was in court this week, and Isaac and I have stayed here, in the back of beyond - making massive wedding cakes with my mother, playing football with my Bruv (I watched, they played!), taking border collies for walks, climbing trees (I watched!) and visiting sheep and their lambs on the neighbouring farm.

We're going back to London this afternoon - Isaac's back at school on Tuesday, so we can spend tomorrow finishing off his holiday homework, checking his school shoes etc still fit, and sharpening his pencils.

Im feeling rubbish today - literally got 3 hours interrupted sleep last night due to being congested and feeling a little breathless so was making me panic..Horrible. Also tmi - am getting diarohrea in the evenings the last few nights?


So today Im shattered -house is a mess as we have decided to get fitted wardrobes in bedroom a couple of weeks before baby arrives...clothes are everywhere! The nursery/toyroom is half painted and in total disarray. All baby paraphanalia is in living room. At least my children are back in school this week so I can attempt to sort when I have more energy. Just put 3 binbags of clothing into car to take to cash for clothes tomorrow.

Have ordered a changing bag - Mrs Happy, the same one as yours I think but in grape (as befits due date twins!)
Had some John Lewis vouchers - so used them and also ordered a changing mat and breast pads!!


Right - off out to spend the afternoon at my parents = I can relax on sofa and have a coffee while the girls are entertained
